Try a different build. Bluetooth is worrking well on every rom i have tried, both nand and sd builds.
Bluetooth update for Jaguar DHD
Hello evilbarcode,
bluetooth is working on my device ,too.
But the "autodetect" is not working stable.
Sometimes it connects automaticly sometimes you have to start bluetooh several times or push the connect bottom a few times.
So on other builds there is no problem, you switch bluetooth on...and the devices are conected.

Yes, that is correct. I've recently installed a sense 3.5 nand build, but when I first put android on my hd2 (about 2 months ago) I used sd builds and I am pretty sure my bluetooth devices connected straight away (after I had connected them the first time). If your keen to stay on sd builds try this one. It was the first sd build I used, an older version but still good. Should be much better now though.
Cheers,
Evil.

Thank you for that link.
That build looks good.
Last week I tryed the EVO HD2 V6 (Nexus) Build.
I like it, but there are some bugs.
But mr evil is working on V7.
But I also like my JaguarDHD (Desire HD) Build. It works almost perfect for me for about one year. Onyl this little Bluetooth thing is disturbing.
I don´t know anything about creating builds, but perhaps it is possible to create an update file with the bluetooth part of one of the other builds?

Does no one have an idea how to do that?

I did a search in here but there are so many results...
I have been playing with the 1.5 build DZO posted on his page. Bluetooth seems to work, but I am having a hard time synching my contacts. Anyone know other builds with functional Bluetooth?
have u tried to
is ur data the problem or is it just ur contacts?
I actually got the contacts synched after a bit of tinkering. Still, I am wondering what other builds have the working bluetooth. I am assuming this is a different beast than the xROMs of a few months ago as it was taken directly from DZO's site.
Does that mean limited bluetooth drivers have been developed for the touch? I was playing around with mine tonight and it was working. If I can have bluetooth on say a 1.6 or a 2.x version of Android, then I may really give up win-mo for good.
yea
I dont believe there is a working 1.6 or 2 with bluetooth.. for now at least. Ur best bet is that build. Its also one of the fastest (if not the fastest) and stable around.

I'm pretty sure a 1.6 build (like Donut AOSP by plemen) flashed on NAND with dzo's latest kernel will have bluetooth enabled...along with GPS and usb headset audio
I've been using Androind on my HTD for +/- the past month or so, and have yet to have stable bluetooth operation through my Pioneer AVH-3200BT which is enabled for BT phone calls (NOT A2DP). I've been through several builds, and currently am using shu8i's latest shubCRAFT 1.4d (23.08.2010 build). I'm got HPSL3 and Radio 2.12.
I get a lot of forced close app errors with trying to establish BT connection. Sometimes I get further, like the Pioneer can usually pick up my contact list after a few tries... But the worst happens when I try to make a phone call. The system hangs, the sound goes dead, the Pioneer cancels the call, and the HTC HD2 usually crashes back to the home screen. From then, I usually dont have any sound for anything until I reboot the HD2.
In WM6.5 Bluetooth works fine with the Pioneer.
Can anyone help me out with this? I'd be willing to pull some logs / demos / or get more vital information if I knew where to look. I'll be the geinea pig!
Thanks in advance
I'll add plantronics voyager 815 to list. maybe a list of working headsets might help if anyone has one.
my Jabra T3030 doesn't work either. It works great with A2DP and it even rings when i get a call. but it hangs the device if i try to answer and there's no audio in calls.
I tried every build possible
I cannot get my Bluetooth wireless headset to work also ,it works on phone calls but on media ,no sound is transferred ,Ian using Mattc 1.6b with sonyericsson headset ,that works more than perfect on windows

I got similar problem with my Motorola Headset too, it just keep hanging with the dialer, without bluetooth one, the dialer works flawlessly. Mine is Shubcraft
I think I figured it out... I set the pioneer to accept connections with pin 1234 instead of 0000 and it seems to be working alright now.

I'm also having troubles with my Sony Ericsson MW600. I did get it going with I think ShubCraft 1.4b but now on 1.5 it won't have it...
It pairs fine, works fine with Media - AVRCP controls working, etc.
But the phone app just doesn't like it. I've tried to switch BT on and off whilst in call and most of the time get a force close on the phone app.
My libbluetooth.so files are dated 04/08/2010. Does anyone have later dated .so files I can try? Or earlier ones for that matter!?
Thanks all.

Not having bluetooth headset is the most frustrating thing. Well its a close second to nearly every android build claiming to have bt working in the OP but it doesn't work!!

I've tried changing the libbluetooth, libbluetoothd and libbluedroid files time and again with Shubi's build and nothing works.
I had some success today though. I'm currently using Shubi's build but with the michyprima r10 kernel.
I was trying a different kernel earlier - the huanyu OC kernel from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=777921
This got my BT headset working for calls and A2CP/AVRCP...
PLEASE NOTE: This kernel is in beta still, read the thread!
Unfortunately, it proved to be a little unstable for me, so I've had to go back to michyprima's kernel.
But it does seem that the problem lies in the kernel, rather than the bluetooth libraries.

A reboot is required after overwriting libbluetooth.so file
With some old android distributions I cant turno on the bluetooth radio, but it was a kernel matter. Maybe updating the kernel solves the problem.
Now I use FroyoStonev2 with this [kernel][.32.9](BFS+BFQ+AXI+OC+UV) build on 09.09.2010(version 0.2)
But every time that reboot the hd2 need to pair with the freehands.
Every time that reconnect it needs to reenter the code.
So I having a recurring problem with all of the non-Sense builds that I've tried here on the forum. The bluetooth would pair and connect perfectly in all the cases. However, the problem arises when I tried to make a call. The phone would freeze up or come to crawling halt. The dialing screen would go black, and then I would get the android.phone.process force close error. And I would need to pull the battery and reboot.
The issue has happened every single time with any of the non-sense builds I've tried so far: NexusHD2-FRG83, HyperDroid v1.6, Bangsters v1.5, and shubCRAFT v1.5.
I've tried with the included kernels with each build, and also with different combinations of kernels with the above builds as well, hasparin r4.1, r7.2, r7.4, r7.5 and michyprima r11. And still the same issue.
I'm certain there are other people with this same exact problem. So there has to be something going on with these non-Sense builds.
I have two bluetooth headsets, Plantronics 925 and 975. Same problems on both.
I don't like Sense, but I have to use a Sense build because bluetooth calling is very important to me. I hope some of you developers can come up with something to fix this.
Hi. I had exactly same problem.
Try to push play&pause music ,start&stop voice action
before start use bt.
Another solution is push bt call button immediate after make call

That didn't work for me.
I had the same problem as the OP and thats why i switch to a sense build also
Did you try this before?

Yes, I've tried that. But those files are for sense builds, and when I transfer them to a non-sense build, BT wouldn't even turn on.
See the FAQ in my signature. Some of the builders have BT working on CM6 with the EVO kernel so you should soon see builds that support it.

I have been running with BT on several builds for a couple of months now including the NexusHD2-FRG83 builds mentioned above. In fact if a build does not have working BT I skip it. I have found that the first time you install the build and try to use handsfree you need to do the trick of selecting/de-selecting and then selecting BT in the call screen before the actual connection. I use my phone constantly for work with speaker phone (Motorola EQ7) and my headset (BlueAnt T1). No problems making or receiving calls. I use the BT in both phone audio and media audio modes without any issues.

before it's only supported on RMNET or non evo kernel.. the NEW NexusHD2 that was just released now supports BT on all currently available kernels... you don't even have to do the on, off, on trick anymore for the bluetooth to work.. i think it's the closest to being the perfect android build for our HD2.. everything just works including the MMS which i'm having problem with all the sense builds (low res image)..
I will load NexusHD2 1.5 tonight and see what I find
Finally a non-sense build with working bluetooth. I was able to bluetooth music and make a call using my car stereo. I just had to post this. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=804210
I'm tryin to use my phone in my car using the build-in handsfree device (BMW 3-series). Sometimes it works but most times the car looses the pairing after a few minutes. After that the connection is only possible when I switch bt off and on again. But then again a pairing is not possible. I already used the phone with Android successfully in the car but only once or twice.
I used several sense-builds with a variety of different kernels such as mdjs and hastarin. I also changed the connection value in the bluetooth main.conf from 7 to 15 but without any success.
What can cause a problem like this where a connection is possible only for minutes but is working sometimes like expected?
Has anyone a similar problem with a Bluetooth headset?
Thanks for your help.
======================== SOLUTION ========================
Finally I found out, that it has nothing to do with radio ROMS, nothing with the WiMo-ROM nor with the Android itself. The failure lies in the sync between android and Outlook. One of my contacts included more then 80 telephonenumbers (3 particular numbers many times) what crashed the pairing between my car and the phone. I just deleted the contact and re-added it manually. Further I stopped the sync with Outlook and now only sync appointments of the calendar...

Really no help for me...
I've got the Fiat Blue & Me system in by Abarth, it has similar problems to the one you're having in the BM, if I'm right in thinking that the Bluetooth stack is part of the radio ROM then trying a few different radio versions should help. I've found one that's fairly stable but still unpairs itself occationally. it's Leo_RADIO_2.15.50.14 running on mdee jay Evo Sense Evolution with hastarin's 8.1 kernel.
Updating the radio ROM didn't help. I could make one single call but after that it began losing pairing again. That's so sad because everything else is working pretty good so far.

I own a BMW 320d E90 and i have no problem with BT pairing.
I use the Androide 1.5 build done by Crazy_Cbr in htcmania.com (a spanish forum), with Radio 2.15 and Official Kernel #127.
Maybe your BT device needs a firmware update if your Serie 3 model is old. I have heard that you can update it in your BMW dealer, but not sure as far as i haven't needed to do it.
Greetings! (and sorry for my english)
Thank you... I have a 2010th E92 so I think the firmware is no problem. Furthermore the Version 1.5 is pretty old. I had this one with my G1 phone and was not very pleased. I also need Sense which is - afaik - not available for 1.5. Why do you not use a 2.x version?
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
This build is based in 2.2 but his name is "Androide 1.5", the point is that is a Senseless one...
Anyway i guess the problem is not in the build. Does BT work fine with WM?
Yes it worked pretty well with WM what brings me to the point isolating the problem on the hacked Android builds. Perhaps it'll work in the future.
@Nandeh: Which ROM Version do you use for your HD2 device (Radio ROM, WM-ROM and HSPL)???

I found out that the bluetooth pairing is stable as long as I don't have any phone numbers saved in my phone. Any ideas?
Any updates on this?
I have a 2005 1-series. First I was running WM 6.5 on my HD2 and never had problems connecting to the handsfree built in to the car. Then I installed tytungs NexusHD 2.9 NAND ROM (Android 2.3.5). After this, I can pair with the car, but the connection keeps dropping out and then reconnecting with some random intervals between maybe 3 seconds and half a minute.
I have tried to edit audio.conf and audio_pairing.conf, and also an earlier version of audio.so with no luck.
I really don't want to get a different ROM, as I really like the one from tytung.

I've read around, and multiple people are having this issue, without any real solution. Does anyone know of a rom with which bluetooth is stable (or do I have a hardware issue?)
When Bluetooth is connected to any handsfree car system , it cuts out for a few seconds before reconnecting. For example, If I am in a call, it will revert to the built in earpiece & disconnect from the car , only to reconnect seconds later. Same of Bluetooth audio (a2dp). It's fairly disjointed.
I've tried both stock android 4.4.4 & the lastest Cyanogenmod snapshot & nightlies.
Thanks for any help, and I will post back if I find anything useful.
Never happened to me, I've connected with jawbone FM music transmitter, and with several other Bluetooth peripherals including headphones, my smartwatch, and a mono headset and not experienced this. Maybe its a problem with the specific car your trying to connect to? My BMW 750li doesn't pair with the nexus 4, and even a bb z10
Edit: if multiple people are reporting this and multiple hands free car systems don't work then maybe is a hardware issue? Which revision nexus you have ?

I suspect people are experiencing different issues, since no 2 cases appear to be the same. As for me, I have a 2008 Audi with integrated BT which worked fine with Gingerbread. 4.+ has been very different: the connection would often be lost and regained mid-trip and worst of all, 9 times out of 10 I couldn't initiate or terminate calls from the car. That last point is a deal-breaker for me...
Some early KK builds were fine, in fact I used Purity till March. Then a new build came along which returned the above issues. Since then I have tried virtually all the popular ROMs (I would create a Nandroid backup and reflash after a day or so - I still try new builds), and at least for me the AOSP ROMs all have the same issue, above.
I am currently using AICP ROM which is AOKP, nightlies are installed OTA and I don't have a single issue with the car BT any more. And it's a very stable ROM, I´ve been using the ROM for about 4 months I think.
Your mileage may vary, since I suspect we all have different issues, but the AOKP branch works for me. Dirty Unicorns works fo rme too.

Mine is also a rev11, 303k. I guess that rules out hardware issue

Here you go: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/orig-development/rom-aicp-3-5-kk-4-4-2r2-mako-t2632777 - enjoy!
This is the official download page, where you can get the gapps package you prefer, plus the release/latest nightly.
If you install the release you won't get the nightly updates. The nightlies are very stable, so I'd recommend the latest nightly.
I'm experiencing exactly the same problems than Blazing angel.
Bluetooth is unusable in my car, "Unfortunately, the process com.android.bluetooth has stopped" being displayed repetitively.
I suspect it's not hardware related as I do not have problem using the stock or paranoid ROMs. Unfortunately, my favorite ROMs (AOKP, CN or Carbon) are causing problems.
Do you think it's possible to pickeup some files in the paranoid files and inject them to Carbon to solve the problem ?
Thanks in advance for your help !
