Guys,
So if am reposting the same query. Tried searching but didnt get any result.
I'm using GalnetMiui ICS as my primary rom. Saw this thread about multiboot and tried it. v0.4 didn't boot from 2nd boot. So i installed the old version v0.3 .. I could flash CM9-ICS-MR0-111207-jordan-KERNEL-2.3.4-Quarx and update it to CM9-ICS-MR0-111211 .
But now i'm not able to boot from 2nd init !
I tried doing the whole thing again starting from installing MIUI then applying multiboot patch and then installing CM9 ... but in vain.
Please help me get through.
NB: i noticed one more thing, running cm9 in 2nd boot is not giving me any network, when i try searching for a network its shows some error.

It is not possible to run newer versions including 111207 in multiboot due to the new kernel.
you need to make this your primary boot
hope i could help you, greetz Esok
sadly understanding the truth.
Yes , i sadly am understanding it. But I've found out a dumb method to use dual boot. Flash the respective kernels when in need of switching from GMIUI to ICS CM9.
but still the CM9 ICS is not giving me any phone signal [in 2nd boot], i dont have any sim pin activated.
If i make CM9 my primary rom , phone signal is ok and i can make / recieve calls. ??
For now i need Galnet Miui as my primaryu ROM atleast until the ICS CM9 is officially released for Defy...
cm9 is my primary rom and everything works great, at this moment i'm on the phone
maybe you could just make a nand backup of your wajkiui and flash cm9.
if everything works you can keep cm9 and if not just flash back

hi,
i tried many ROMs on my ZTE BLADE V2 yoigo (ES) and all had this problem, including the stock one.
When using Viber or MobileVOIP the sound would go to the external speaker and not the internal one!!
I only use the phone to make VOIP calls and internet so this is a big issue.
The problem was long discussed over the cyanogen, code.google.com/p/cyanogenmod/issues/detail?id=2858
One guy, at #55 offers a libaudio.so which appears to fix this problem. Can it be inserted on this rom??? (which from all other tested, stock, cyanogen 7.2 kang this one appears to have the longest battery life)
thanks for any advice.
PS:
1. I tried the trick with opening the Radio App and closing it, does not work with this rom
2. I tried overwriting the libaudio.so inside the zip, copied the rom to the phone and installing it but it fails saying bad zip, something like this..
3. anyone can confirm a ROM version for ZTE that has this problem fixed?
CyanogenMod has this problem fixed, it's not easily possible to fix it on ZTE roms. You'd need to compile your own fixed libaudio.so a CM7 one wont work due to it being compiled for vmsplit3g & other cm7 modifications.
You can use the native gingerbread sip/voip calling feature in ZTE Gingerbread roms, as long as you're using a cm7 or aosp contacts/dialler rather than the zte version, that works ok, it's just 3rd party apps.
i'm not able to play HD videos after installing gb roms. previously i was able to see hd videos on CM but now it is also stopped. i'm on dual boot , base rom is Galnet MIUI ICS. i tried several roms in 2nd boot but nothing helped.. is this my mobile's problem or a common bug ??
and yes i have a green lens Defy..
Pls help
Did you give a try to third party app like mx video player
Which gingerbread rom are u using? Stock defy+ roms wont be able to play or record 720p. Try ms2ginger
Or apply this mod on gb roms : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1154215
ms2 ginger and that patch works for defy+ and red lens .. i think he said he have green lens ..
there might be a possibility of system files conflict after installing the 2nd rom .. so if u really need 720p try moving in to single boot .. just a suggestion i think that should work
Hi Guys,
Last time I tried CM10, I found that the browser crashed a lot on sites with java or flash. Is this still the case with the JB roms? Is this caused by Adobe not supporting Flash for JB, or is the roms themselves that need to be tweaked?
Thanks!
PS F this freaking captcha BS, takes 50 tries to get one right.
I experience similar issues with CM10 (the august build from Droidbasement), including complete lockups.
I've tried it too and it runs nice but, yes it has some problems in the browser so i just switch back to official. But theres a possbility that the problem its in the kernel, so maybe when they port a1 kernel to cm10 it could resolve that, they alredy port it to cm9 i guess time will say...
Hi Guys
After getting fed up with stock gingerbread , I looked into custom ROMS and have spent hours trawlling through posts ,guides and forums
Im trying to load a stable Rom to my Defy + which supports BT handset .( I drive a lot in UK) I found that the most up to date ROM , that supports BT handset is CM 9 , Android 4.0 ICS . I was pleased with this ROM, until I found that Google Play and Home button does not work correctly , maybe a different rom was needed
Perhaps I have a wrong/old GAPPS installed (GAPPS 4.1.1) ?
I would like to hear from anyone who has a similar experience , who found a more up to date rom/stable which supports BT HANDSET, while being more snappier than Gingerbread
Phone is rooted , running on T Mobile in UK
Defy+ MB525
Android 4.0.4 CM9 Mod
GAPPS 4.1.1 2012-07-26
ICS recover 5.7.0
