Nah, even I think sense is ugly. It just looks good in screenshots or on htc phones. But I would love to try the rom.

Pointless, better to port it directly from a htc device, but trust me, with 256MB RAM, Sense will lag like $#!T
Still, it is a nice thing, as it ain't just the launcher.
Yes it's not a bad idea to make something like MIUIzzzzz with sense mayne SensUizzzzzzz (i want to sleep....xD)
Or we can try to port it from the HTC Wildfire S or not S it has similar specs ...

Sense is ugly for me,but ill make a suggestion.it would be pointless to make a port out of a port.ace doesnt have offical sense,its also ported.so we need a phone,with similar specs and sense.

But it's harder for the x10 because of crypted bootloader (is it called crypted?) and 1core 1GHz processor so we have better chances... ^^
(idk if the 1GHz is a contra but i read on that link something with dualcore...)

I'm no big fan of HTC, but I'd say Sense since it would be a nice change that I didn't see on my phone before. But well, since sources for Sense are not available, this won't happen in the next time.
To be honest, I can't think of a mod we didn't already see. CM6/7 and MIUI are already ported, you brought us Touchwiz and Dellstage.
You could try porting Arc UI since there's no near-to-complete build atm.

Buddy porting ain't that easy...
The gpu and the CPU of the two cell phones should be the same so no Droid x ....
The arc UI and bravia engine is already present in tripnarc so no....
Sense maybe after the sdk is released so any more suggestions or are all people happy and content ?? Genuinely

How did they port Sense to Nexus One then? Never heard of it before. Shouldn't it really be possible to port Sense from Nexus One? I guess many of our ports started from Nexus One ROMs, right?

The HTC desire is exactly like the nexus one so it wasn't a big deal and u even have many devs....
Moreover porting a custom UI is not abt the bin , lib , etc but u have to change the change Apk and framework as they are not framework independent
I'm now working on improving j's build
By improving network and WiFi ....
I think it's a good idea, go for it!
Dont call it 100% IF camera doesnt work with full features
Sensors dont work
Bit buggy etc etc

The reason why he left it was because on ecalir HTC had put many restrictions and locked every Apk very tightly
It would be easier now because people for MOTO Droid with a diff chipset omap and powervgr have ported it
The main thing is decompiling and changing parameters
Like swappiness , RAM , etc

I dunno much about this stuff, but there was another thread about it recently & if I remember correctly even achotjan was involved but nothing released, maybe you should contact those & J, to avoid starting from zero
I've been wanting to try AOSP GB with fps fix and custom kernel from J's 2nd post but I'm not familiar with making boot.img's so I'm trying to look into steps of how to make one... BB.67 btw

Pm sent back and its cos of the customization of MIUI that makes it a great rom
We already have Trip and Cobrato working on it so why would we need another MIUI rom? Doesn't. make sense....
I want to see another rom which isn't on the x10 yet

Some people really need to improve their English here and besides, there has been not a single bugless software released in the computer world.
@OP -- I say go for it, and make it available for all basebands since we have kernels supporting all basebands now.

Kernels are available for all basebands but as of yet roms aren't
And because you cannot use internet whilst in phonecall on 2.0.XX (.46.49.52) and other things,roms on 2.1.XX (.54.55.58.61.65.67) are recommended for battery and signal strength

I think he's trying to port a sense port for CM7 for the desire to CM7 for the Samsung Galaxy S.
Why don't you just try and help with the current sense port?? It's useable, the only reason I'm not testing it for more than a day is because data doesn't work.

I will replace camera with standart cm one. Messaging app doesnt work also. Dialler too...
I will replace this things with default one for first release.

I'd very much like to see a MIUI rom, been some time since a new one emerged on xda and none based on 2.3.3 has been made here yet.
Besides, functionality wise I think it's one of the best aftermarket firmwares too imo. Would be really nice and awesome if a miui rom was cooked on xda once more

Tripnmiui has bugs and data issues which aren't going to be ironed out anytime soon as development has stopped or at least been put on hold. If you could make a stock fully working miui rom that would be awesome. Why not aim for higher since there's no lack of cm7, stock, se lookalike roms etc etc

MIUI for sure =] I mean look at TripNFag / TripNBalls . His got his **** named as TripNDroid engineering which is basically all copy and paste from other tweaks . It doesn't even work properly, with alot of bugs, and glitches and lags everywhere .
