[Q] Intel HD Graphics Drivers - Windows 8 General

Are there any alternatives to the stock Intel 1.1 driver? I'm using an older Gateway laptop (P-6822) with the 965GM chipset and it locks up after being used for 10 - 15 minutes.
THANKS

TV tuner + Linux + Universal = Mobile TV?

Hey guys,
I have recently got my hands on a HTC Universal and I was wondering, if I put Linux on there, used a USB host cable modified to have a power supply, and used Linux TV tuner software, could I theoretically have a mobile TV? Just wondering because I happen to have a TV tuner supported by Linux here (Elgato EyeTV Deluxe DTT), which I have tested with my Linux laptop to make sure it works.

Anything is possible with Linux The only problems i see is that you need to have a running Linux distro that the software can run on. Then you run into the issue of not having enough ram. Also the manufacture recommends a 2.0 GHz Intel/AMD CPU or Intel Atom CPU and 1 GB RAM. All things considered it might not be possible.

All right, I'll give it a whirl when my host cable arrives and I modify it, can't wait to try, but I won't be surprised now if it doesn't work.

[Q] Win8 Pro Rotation Problems

So i have Windows 8 Pro x86 on a tablet i purchased a few months ago. Everything runs perfectly, except for the auto-rotation.
(its not a 'branded' tablet)
Basic Info:
Intel Atom CPU N550 1.5Ghz
2GB DDR3
(this may have to do with it....) its a x64 processor with x86 installed.
Multi-touch points
Device Manager info:
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3150 (MicroSoft Corp WDDM 1.0)
Does anyone know if this is Hardware or Software related? any possible Fixes?

32 bit runs on both 64 and 32. Probably not that. Do you have access to your drivers if the tablet has any. This could be the problem.
Yeah. First advice is to make sure you don't have the orientation lock enabled. Open the Settings charm (anywhere, including desktop, is fine), then click/tap the Screen button in the bottom right (the one used for changing the brightness). Above the slider bar is a button that toggles whether or not the screen orientation is locked.
If that doesn't work, double-check that you've installed the drivers for your tablet. They should be available from the OEM's website. Generally, Win7 drivers will work fine.

[Q] It's possibile running Windows 10 Mobile in a tablet with Intel Aton?

Hi, erevyone. It's possibile running Windows 10 Mobile in a tablet with Intel® Atom™ Processor Z3735G ? The tablet is the CCE TF74W.
Nope, because Windows 10 mobile needs to be optimized for the specific devices.

Problems using wired ethernet connection with Unihertz Atom (Mediatek MT6763 (Helio P23) Octa-core, 2 GHz processor)

I have a Belkin usb C to ethernet adapter as below:
https://www.belkin.com/us/business/audio-video-adapters/usb-c-to-ethernet-charge-adapter/p/p-inc001/
This works great on my Samsung Galaxy phones, but does not work on my Atom phone running Android 9. The phone uses a Mediatek MT6763 (Helio P23) Octa-core, 2 GHz processor - Is there a way to get such an adapter working on my Unihertz Atom phone? I presume it is drivers that are the issue - maybe I can download these somehow or is there a 3rd party app that would include the drivers (a paid app would be fine)? Alternatively can anyone suggest another adapter that works with the Unihertz Atom phone (Mediatek MT6763 (Helio P23) Octa-core, 2 GHz processor) so that I can use a wired ethernet connection?
