i accidentally installed a rom that is not for my tablet...now when i turn it on it stays vibrating and nothing appears on the screen...pliz can someone help?
can you boot into recovery? i believe its vol down + power
If you can't get to recovery its time to go to Acer....
If it vibrate's all time then I think then installed that tablet bootloader.bin, if you want to recover your tab you need download EUU HC 3.2.1 rooted version from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1307539
And read instructions how to install it. Sorry for bad English.
ive tryed getting in recovery mode and even ractory reset but nothing happens
Do you know how to boot into APX mode?
hope this help

I HOPE, before you did this silly "accidental" thing, that you did a recovery backup before you commited to this act? Because you will probably need your original UID number. And you can find it in your recovery files on your ext sd card.

It ain't over, till the big hog sings..... (I hear squealing though)
Actually, if you can get into APX mode, and you have your original UID number, the chances are 70/30 for recovery.

flash clockworkmod recovery using adb (device must have USB debugging enabled!)
find a rom, put it on SDcard, boot into recovery, and flash.

how'd you figure it out?
Okay, so I'm not completely new to all of this. I own other android devices and have rooted and flashed them..
However, I recently got the AT&T S4 (SGH-I337), and due to my own fault, I mistakenly clicked on and flashed the wrong kernel to my phone. It will not boot. It just sits with a black screen while it vibrates every 3 seconds, non stop. I cannot enter recovery, nor does any logo appear.
I have only been able to enter the Odin Mode and already attempted to use the stock rom located here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2261573
I have also tried downloading the files from the Sammobile.com website.
Odin goes through the process of flashing the stock rom and successfully finishes the process each time. It still does not boot and only vibrates.
I have also tried Kies; however it says that my SGH-I337 doesn't support initializing.
I truly am at a loss, here. I have been up literally all night searching the forums and various websites. Odin seemed to work for most, and for those that it didn't, they were able to enter recovery to do a reset.
So in short..
Phone only vibrates and doesn't boot or show logo.
I have already flashed the stock rom using odin.
I cannot enter recovery.
I have tried pulling the battery and entering recovery.
Is there anything that can be done at this point, besides taking it to AT&T?
Which kernel did you flash?

I mistakenly downloaded the Ktoonsez kernel for the S3 for Touchwiz JELLYBEAN 4.1.2.
It failed, but hasn't worked since. I did, however, flash the stock kernel with odin, but that still has done nothing, even though it said it was successful.
So does anyone have any idea what can be done? I'm open to suggestions!

Yep Sure Do...
1st If your able to boot to Odin and you see the download screen your not bricked...
Also the window for entering recovery is very short with the keys so continue to try...
1. Do you have a stock or custom recovery?
2. Do you have any back-ups on your SD card?
let me just say I ran into a problem few days back with a similar problem...
Please answer questions and we will get to next step.... DON'T PANIC!!!:good:

I've used odin at least 5 times. Getting into download mode isn't the problem. All i have to do is hold the Volume Down button while it's doing its infinite vibrate ever 3 seconds.

I did. That is the folder that I copied to my computer.
The key is getting into recovery...
Make sure you are using the right key format...
1. Hold Power Volume UP and Center key at the same time
2. when you see the Blue recovery words... split second release power and center key hold volume up for another split second
3. release volume up then hold down again
If you do not go into recovery you missed the window... try again

Okay, well that's the problem. It's only a black screen. No logo or blue letters pop up. I have been into recovery mode several times, so I know what I need to do.. It's just not possible with how the device is currently behaving. As soon as I put the battery in, the phone vibrates after 3 seconds, then repeats every 3 seconds. There is no logo, or lettering. The screen never turns on. The only times the screen turns on is when i enter Download Mode.
once your in recovery...
TWRP breaks up parts of the back-up
Remember in this step you are not trying to restore....
try to install each section of the back-up this will clear your frigged up partition
I do not know which is corrupt so its trial and error...
It will state that the flash was unsuccessful but it does flash enough to clear your corrupt area!!!

Have tried ODIN flashing CWM or TWRP and not the stock rom?
I need help!
Im using LG P715/P716
I have a rooted phone.I want to make tweaks so I can play games smoother so I installed ChainFlare 3d then installed the drive which it needed so I can use all of the options. It gave me a warning that if I continue I have the chance of bricking my phone. My phone restarted and realized my phone was stucked in a boot loop. The most annoying thing is that I cant go to the recovery menu which is needed to restore back my phone.I tried all possible combinations, the power+volume up/down+hone didnt actually work.I already knew my phone cant go to recovery menu before this happened.Because I remembered last week,I downloaded quickboot,it didnt work also.I really want to know how to bypass the boot loop without having to gain access to recovery menu,or a solution to the recovery menu problem.HELP! Any reply would be greatly appreciated!

If it is caused by chainfire bootloop, and can not enter the recovery is the only alternative, only come into download mode

Op is asking how to get out of bootloop and access any menu so he can install things like stock you mentioned
You basically told him what he wants to do anyway and not how to do it ...
One does not simply plug bootloop to PC and flash ....
Hi guys,
please help, i tried to root my gf phone and it got stuck into bootloop, I rooted it with Iroot and than tried to boot into recovery with ROM manager, and it got stuck on logo with little "!" sign on the top, its just stuck there and nothing I do helps, not even holding power + volume up + home key, guys im desperate, is there a way to save the device, and data on the phone, i still can get into download mode, cheers!
edit: i figured out delete this thread..
Get your stock firmware from sammobile.com (sorry to the Mods for linking a page where you have to register) and flash it through Odin
---------- Post added at 07:00 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:59 PM ----------
Or you could flash TWRP (http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/twrp-twrp-galaxy-core-plus-sm-g350-t3275740) through Odin and restore a Backup of the stock rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...-nandroid-backup-twrp-stock-4-2-2-sm-t3316010)
ATTENTION: Make sure to only restore /system

Download your stock system from sammobile.com and flash it through ODIN. Your files on the internal memory may disappear when doing this.
If it doesn't work afterwards, try the same again with an attached PIT file for the phone:
https://github.com/TimSchumi/pit-files/raw/master/cs02.pit
WARNING: Flashing with an attached .pit file will format your phone. Do it with caution!
hello everyone,
I just installed the lineage os, but it gets stuck at the boot animation, can you help me accessing the recovery? It doesn't let me do it by presing the volume down and power button like I used to do.

Go through the link below, if you can't find what you need ask again on the link below, and add detail for what version of stock firmware you were on, lollipop is preferred, what version of TWRP you are on, the latest is 3.1.0-0, and if you took the lineage OTA update, OTA is currently causing bootloops to TWRP (read posts before and after post 777.
Don't do anything to partitions from the terminal without backing the partition up first.
There is also a lot of info in the thread, use the thread search function.
For LG D802

If you need to return to stock look at Post 574 it has links on how to return to stock and also all the software you need

Also in some ROMs the key combination for booting into recovery changed to vol up + vol down search the thread I put in post 2 as its been discussed there
