No one is making you a rom, and you were likely ignored in the right section because it's a dumb question (that's been asked an obnoxiously high number of times) that could have been answered with a simple search.

To continue, windows phone 8 is closed source and so were not legally allowed to mess around with it like we can android.

Exactly......If you want a rom then I think android is your best choice.
Don't post in the wron forum next time
To be fair, devs made (and still make, or at least update) a ton of WinMo and WP7 ROMs, which are also closed-source (although the WinMo kernel source is available). There will probably eventually be ROMs for WP8, but please, stick to the correct forums for asking!

People keep thinking it's possible to port a non-released, non-leaked OS onto any phone they have, this is no different, no matter how many times you say it in the other threads in this Sailfish section, no one will read it and make another pointless thread again and again.

And before anyone says anything about the SDK, it is no used because it's for x86, not for arm.

I was looking through the sailfish forum and couldn't find anything for sg3 international but it's being developed for other versions of gs3 maybe I didn't look hard enough

I do not think it is being developed for SGS3. There is no arm source and there are no drivers.
But if I am wrong, can you drop a link to this thread?

Released? After a long time/never.
There is no tutorial post for i9300.
Now... Can we just let this thread die? I'm sure the ROM will get to i9300 section if/when its released.

I have an ideaa. Since there are 10,000 different devices lets make a new thread asking if someone will make a port for such and such device for each and every one.
Yeay!!!
We can have so many useless threads that ....tricked yuh, made you think something new happened.

Not yet, tomorrow
Developer preview/beta is being released tomorrow, and it may or may not be publicly released to everyone. Assuming it will be posted to the public on the android developer website though

Since the Android developer page is open to everyone...surely it will be released to everyone.

"Coming June 26, 2014
We've just announced these new developer platforms!
Visit developer.android.com tomorrow to get started."
Can't wait, definitely will be a guinea pig for this!

Why would you post this when it hasn't been released yet?
Why would you post this when this thread is above you?

You know its funny but they should have never put a date on it. It's been the 26th for 16 hours here in Germany!
forget the thanks button, I want a high five!
Can somebody explain to me why Google did not give us the factory image? It's now 10AM Thursday, 26 in Newyork!
Just a thought:
Could we delete this thread MODs? It hasn't been released and it isn't called Lollipop, this will only lead to confusion later....
In an effort to keep the boards sane and readable, lets keep all Android L discussion in the original discussion thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2794642

How many of these threads are going to be opened and closed.
OP rule #1 on XDA search before creating a thread.
Already a thread on this topic there is absolutely no reason to open another.
