Do any fm transmitter app excist - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 General

I dont think so. Even though the radio chip is likely to have the capability it needs to be enabled in the device hardware and have software to run it.
If only it did!

GPS

What I'm most curious about is the GPS, since Samsung did design the phone does it have the same issues with GPS as the Galaxy S does..
I know we probably won't know until next week, but still curious.

I am pretty damn sure that the issue has been resolved, i mean it would be absolutely stupid if they didnt
I'd hope so, but then again. The original I9000 Galaxy S phone shipped with broken GPS and then when they came to the US, they had broken GPS...
But in the end, software tweaks fixed most of the GPS issues if you had a rooted phone.
Yea my vibrant GPS is fine now but when on jfd firmware GPS and compass were faulty but was only software related.
But even now with everything working I noticed that my GPS and phone antenna interfere cuz putting my phone in flightmode makes GPS much more accurate so I'm thinking this s why they replaced the antennas.
But yea GPS should be fine on NS

The GPS chip in the NS is different from the SGS series. It'll work just fine.
Acording to FCC they changed the antenna

Yes they changed the antenna. The Vibrant's GPS works anywhere, hard-ware wise. It was just some of the software builds that it didn't work on.
I just read a review that stated gps worked "flawlessly"

Which review?
Engadget did a review but stupidly did not test the GPS. What a shame review.

Il do some searching and try to find it. I don't think it talked about the gps it just had a little headline in the middle that said wifi and gps work flawlessly.

Request: FM Radio application for the Nexus 4

I'm surprised vanilla android doesn't sport an FM Radio app. I have one on my old HTC sensation.
Are there any available out there? Spirit FM sucks totally!
Thanks

yeah till now nothing on this area. Spirit FM dont support Nexus 4 at this moment and afaik last what I read chances are negligible.

Upgrade hardware

Has anyone ever upgraded speakers, camera, Wifi chip or anything else. I have done this for years on my desktop pcs and laptops.
Can I do it on our phones?

LoL question

I don't think is worth it. Better buy a new phone
I love my note 2, I just want to make it good enough to keep until it dies. This is the first phone that I have had that takes away the excitement of new coming out for me

Speakers should be possible but the rest would require software modification...
I recall seeing something awhile back where a user upgraded their phone's internal memory storage, but as for upgrading a camera or WiFi, I don't see it as being very feasbile. You're talking different pin-outs on the chips than what they'd be replacing, different power requirements, internal firmware for the existing device/hardware, etc.
my point is: better a new laptop that upgrade your

FM Radio?

So...the internet seems to suggest there's an FM radio buried somewhere in the G2. Does anyone know how to access it?
The Snapdragon 800 CPU supports FM radio, but that doesn't guarantee that the pins are connected to anything. If the G2 had the pins going anywhere, there's no logical reason why LG wouldn't have included an application for it. It would have given them another marketing point for the G2.

Carriers might removed it so the user would use data instead but there is the possibility that its only a software limitation so a custom ROM might be able to use it if available (nothing guaranteed etc)
The international g2 has the fm radio installed

FM radio on nexus 4

Hello everyone
I may be asking very foolish question and if so plz forgive me.
I want to have FM radio software just like other mobiles have like HTC wildfire. Downloaded from play store but they don't support Indian region.
Is there any app through which we can set the frequency and voila it's done????
Thank you.
