I disagree. The N900 is a pretty sweet phone. Can run regular Linux on it if you wanted to. It has some pretty cool features and for being like over a year old it is holding down pretty nicely.

The N900 is a sweet phone. It has FFC, TV out, FM receiver and transmitter, IR, keyboard,Dual LED flash, can run linux, has android, has proper Skype support
so it has alot of things the galaxy S doesn't

Yes the viewing experience of Note is HUGE .... amazingly conveyed, +1 for getting the viewing perspective right but the speaker experience (ear buds) ... well -1 for that !!! Wish Note had a better and louder sound quality !!!

Thanks for the suggestion. I am already using Equalizer and Voodoo Louder. What i meant was direct hardware based sound amplification (louder sound) rather than software based tweaks.

yeah I saw this a couple weeks ago, great idea. I was planning to convert my old Gnex into a media center for my TV. Unfortunately my TV was to old (I say was because it died a few days ago) and only had DVI input, now it doesn't matter because my new TV will be a Samsung Smart. The Samsung dock is really cool, I really want one of those but I don't think they're for sale in my country yet.

Just switch the camera to video and check through the shooting modes, you'll find it in there.

Cheers man, not the best jump in the world but you do get to see the capabilities of the GN2 and looking back it does seem to be recorded in 1/4
Will have to try that out this weekend when i'm watching the Footy at my local rec ground.
Speaking as someone who has a cousin who works as a stable lad (UK trainer Mary Reveley) I would suggest that next time she sits back a bit on landing, much like they do in the Grand National.
