[Q] which kernel for jboogie blurry ginger - Defy Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
I'm wondering if the 2.3.4 kernel from MS2ginger 2.1 will work with Jboogie's Blurry Ginger
2.3.3 rom? It works fine with DFP 231 and 188 (both 2.3.6 roms in 4.5.1-134).
I'm just too lazy to flash fixed sbf, my computer lags like hell.
P.s. this 2.3.4 kernel is from 4.5.2-109 DHT22 I *think*

Your core-Kernel should be a 2.2 CEE ROM (Froyo), if you have flashed the ROM in the usual way.

you are on froyo kernel

Do I need to flash the kernel?

Hi !
I have a defy with bayer camera module and sotck defy+ 2.3.6 ROM (I think has gingerbread stock kernel)
I'm interesting to flash CM7.2 for dey+, but I have a question.
I have seen that there is a "CM9 kernel" (gingerbread) and battery fix.
If I have gingerbread stock kernel (2.3.6) Do I need to flash the kernel? Do I need or I can use the stock kernel?
PD: I tested this kernel and has bricked my phone, Is it necessary for CM7?
THANKS !!
Hi, no you don't need and its don't go on bl7.
