Yesterday my market changed to the new Google Play Store. It was working fine, I used it a few times.
Then I backed up my rom (ARHD) and installed the IceCold ROM. I then restored the ARHD rom and now the Play Store will not work.
I can still see the shortcut to the Play Store on my homescreen but when I try to open it, it doesn't open. There is no play store in my app draw.
How can I fix this?

Thanks but I got it sorted.
I went to /system/app/vending.apk on root explorer and choose install, it then installed a none working market, but after a reboot it updated to play shop and it now works fine

It works fine on my DHD ,so it may just be a bad download,try again.
try to download and reinstall, if the problems continues, then if you have a custom rom, try to install another one and test..

For gameloft games, visit www.gameloft.com from your DHD browser, and purchase/download the game from there.
What is your ROM version? Have you flashed custom ROM?
Try market enabler? It would enable some applications which are not shown on market.
For few days now I'm unable to access Books in Android MArket on my GTab.
Every single time I'm tapping on the Books Tab it forcecloses.
Ive factory re-set my tab still the same, rooted and installed different rom... Same
Can anyone possibly help me??

Stock. 1.0.28 i've downloaded the 3.1.5 and uninstalled the stock but it doesn't show movies tab which I'm not bothered about. But would prefer stock as its cleaner...

try pushing a fresh apk of the market because of the recent flashing of a new ROM, something could've gotten messed up.
Like i've said earlier. Problem occurred before rooting on stock tab. I've rooted just to check if new rom would fix it. Also market from android market has the same problem and its on lower version 1.0.16 I think...

I am in the UK using the recent KH3 firmware, and I also have the issue when trying to access books.
I think I'll need to go to one of the shops place a random google account on shop display and check out the market... It could be something related to UK tablets

Hi,
I am having a problem with one off my NC unable to log in to Amazon app store using the Amazon store app. I can log in to the Amazon store but nor the app store. I rooted the NC with z4root, at first I thought it was the way I flash my cm7 Rom and try to flash a few more time but still not letting me log in to the app store.
Than I try to use MIUI Rom for nook I still having the same problem. Is this section thing to do with my karnol because I haven't tried that yet. Or itmight be some thing worn with my NC ? Thanks in advance for any help

Hello,
I ran into this before. The problem is that each time you install a new rom amazon registers it as a new device the first time you login with the app.
To fix, login using a browser, go to your profile and you'll be able to de-register those devices. Once done you'll be able to use the app again.

I recently reinstated my Facebook and the app was still in my phone, for I had used it plenty before, but when I went to log in after reactivating my account after a few months, it didn't work. I deleted the app and proceeded to the market to reinstall, but now it says my device is incompatible. Also, premium XDa forum app is also "incompatible". I have been playing around with build.prop tweaks but nothing really major, but I cannot figure out how to fix this.

This is the problem. Either restore the original build.prop or install the unlocked Market app will solve it.
I installed market unlocker and tried all of the English market s and a German one to download a few apps that cone up incompatible (Facebook, ROM toolbox, app brain market) but it still continued. I have already tried resetting LCD density, but a seeing reset if there is one for ROM toolbox.

Anyone try to install Go Launcher HD for pad? If so what ROM are you running?
I put it on my Galaxy Tab 7 plus and it seemed to work fine. It wouldn't show up in the Play Store for me though. I had to use the web store on my computer to install it remotely.
