[Q] Not able to view images in External SD in Gallery - Galaxy Tab 7.7 General

Recently got a new Samsung GT P6800. Rooted it and installed CWR. Till yesterday I was able to view thumbnails of jpeg files in the SD card through gallery app. I transferred some jpeg files to my SD card, but it didn't show up. Now I cannot access any of the jpeg images in the external card. I can however open with Astro or gallery by going directly to the file. Any help in solving this problem will be much appreciated...

[Q] Photos

newbie question. After i copy photos and videos to the SD card on my computer, how do i view them on the tab? Do i have to copy them from the card to the internal? If so, what is the best way to do this?
If you SD card is OK (recognized by the system) Gallery photo program should automatically detects the photos...

Image sort order screwed when moving photos to SD Card - how to fix date

Hello,
I am using a SD Card in my S7 edge and I want to save new photos automatically to SD Card as my internal memory is limited.
But I also want my existing photos to be in the new "camera" Folder on the SD Card. So I moved them to there, but the sort order is now screwed up.
It seem like the Gallery App is sorting the photos by the date and time I moved the files, not by EXIF dates.
I tried to correct the dates of the files with QuickPic App but it does not work (maybe because of the SD Card?).
Also I can't change the sort order within the standard Samsung Gallery App, which is really disappointing.
Does anyone know how to move image files from internal space to SD Card with keeping the EXIF date as filedate?
Or even better: How can I successfully fix the date of image files on the SC Card?
Thank you!!!
Felix
To move files without changing their filedate use a file manager on the phone like ES File Explorer.

Big problem with my photo

Hi guys today I had a problem with the photos saved on a Samsung micro sd card. Today I wanted to move photos from the micro SD in to the computer and then the computer said that the photos were corrupted and could not open it, but only for those in the DCIM folder of the external SD but I can open it from my phone. After I shutdown the phone and turn on again and all the photos in the DCIM folder have disappeared but continue to occupy space in the memory. How can I resolve this issue and recover all the photos?
Please help me!

Galaxy S4 Hidden pictures

Phone is rooted and is running android 4.2.2, I moved all the photos in the DCIM folder to the DCIM folder on the external SD card slot. Yet on my Windows XP machine, when I attach the phone to the computer in PTP mode it says the phone has like 300+ pictures to download. I can download them just fine but I'm confused because the pictures it is showing are not on the external SD card yet I have no idea where inside on the primary memory card they're located.
In what folder inside of the phone would the pictures be stored that they would show up in PTP mode download mode? Tried doing a search for .jpg using ESfile explorer in the \ (root) folder but I couldn't find these mysterious pictures.
