I know the Galaxy Nexus and Nook Tablet have a Netflix apk that supports HD streaming.
Is that available/ported for Kindle Fire as well?
The default one has a picture that it sometimes too compressed/has visible blocks.

Hi guys, finally I succeeded in installing Google Play on my Kindle fire HD 7"!
The only problem I got... it's that every application installed thru google play... remains in the google play application!
What I meant to say was... is there any way to link the apps installed thru google apps, on the Kindle Fire Home/Apps Page?

I think it would be useful to have one list with all the apps / games not working that we find. I think we should include the device, and the PA version we are using. That way, some people could find solutions and share them here. To begin with:
- IMDB: won't start [PA 3.99] [Kindle Fire HD 7"]
- Mass Effect Infiltrator: won't start [PA 3.99] [Kindle Fire HD 7"]
- Horn: won't start [PA 3.99] [Kindle Fire HD 7"]
- TuneIn Radio Pro: it works, but sometimes there are error messages and the station shuts down [PA 3.99] [Kindle Fire HD 7"]

So far, the only application I've been having trouble with is YouTube.
Videos don't play in HD, they tend to get stuck in loop right @ the beginning of the videos. I have to switch HD off to play the videos.

I'm looking for a solution for my intended set up. My three-year-old can't operate a remote or mouse so I'm trying to find a way to mirror YouTube Kids on her Kindle fire to her TV so that she can select her own shows by pressing them on the screen. She just dunked her previous tablet in her bath water so I'll be buying a new fire HD 8. From what I'm reading the newer versions can't do screen mirroring. Is there a way to accomplish this by rooting it or installing play store apps? And what kind of device do I need to buy to attach to my TV? I planned on buying a standard fire TV stick but I want to make sure.

Hi, is there anyone else uses the new Fire HD10 2019, deboated and with Google Apps installed?
I couldn't stream HD Videos from Amazon Play to my chromecast. Which works fine from my other (Samsung) tablets.
So i decide to install amazon video app from Google Play, but that doesn't work for me.
Does someone remove (i guess it's a system app on the HD10) and reinstall that app from google play?

Amazon Prime Video was installed on a system app that you cannot delete this unless device isn't rooted.
Following.
There has got to be someone that has de-bloated and still has amazon prime video and kindle books working.

Surely i can delete the app, but the question is... Am i be able to download the prime video app from google play store, and should it work?
