Just got an invite to google music. On the computer everything works great. But on the Xoom i cant access the cloud in the music app.
Should this just work automaticly or? I don't live in the US, so that could be the problem.
Others outside the US will probably ask this aswell.

There is a thread somewhere about getting it to work in Canada, maybe you can follow those steps, but as of right now it is only open to US users.

Go to settings > applications > all and find Music, click Clear data and then Force stop. Now try Music app again.
Of course this works if you have the latest Music app installed. If you don't have it, then connect to US VPN and you can update in Market.
Didn't help. I think vpn is the solution here.
In my google music settings, the xoom dosen't show up as a device.
I have Google Music 3.0.
You need to update the Google music app, which only works if the market thinks you're in America. I used root and then the MarketAccess app to fool it into thinking I was on a USA sim card and all works fine. I'm in the UK btw
Sent from my Xoom using XDA Premium App
MarketAccess worked great Thanks
No problem, glad I could help :-D

Cheers for that. Will give it ago.
IN my google store I only have listed on the first page APPS, BOOKS, and MOVIES but I have seen that music is added to the Google Store .. how can I add that, my SGN is a German version with a UK ROM , n7000xxlc1
Google music is only available in the U.S. I'm not sure if there are ways to fool your phone into thinking that's where you are.

I think I read somewhere that you can use proxy service one time when connecting to Google music and it won't be checking if you are in the US next time you visit. But I didn't tried this as I wasn't interested.
So, I live outside the US, however I set up my Nexus 7 on a VPN, it runs off the US play store, I got my 25usd in credit, I could rent movies and everything was great!
Just yesterday day I took my Nexus 7 out with me and connected it to an non VPN network. The Books, Magazines and movies all vanished.. Ok. Now that Im back home and on the VPN, the store is US again. However the apps have not come back. In the play store it says they are installed, but there is no open button, and they are nowhere to be found on the phone itself.
Is there a way to get them back? It seems odd that this could happen, if I lived in the US and took my Nexus 7 outside of it would this happen too?
Try going to Settings/Apps/All/Google Play Store and tap on "Clear data."
having the same issus over here cant do anything
I'm planning to buy N7 in september when i'm traveling to NYC. So if i buy something with "free 25$" in play store, do they just disappear when i'm coming back to home(Finland)? Actually, am i even gettin the "free 25$"? Or is it only for US residents?
Sorry for possible bad english...
If you use Titanium Backup, you can unfrost those apps. Root is required for TB.
well i rooted my nexus 7 got the TB defrosted the app they appear on my N7 but now even on VPN turned on the google movie play still says not available to my counrty really frustrating but nothing i can do ):

I just entered my regular (Irish) visa info and gave a New York zip code, I was kinda surprised when it worked.
I find it weird that the devices area in Google play does not show up on my phone, I have to use my desktop friend's desktop PC so I can see it, does anyone else has this problem? I don't a computer right now and I'd like to order the nexus 4 from my Galaxy Nexus as soon as it's available and before it runs out
P. S. I live in Germany

Happens for me too.
Not from Chrome (when you try to open Google Play website it opens the Google Play app and you can't from there I think), but if you use Firefox or others on your phone you can buy whatever you like from the Play website.
