http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1499411
and i used miui v4 from desire z and cm9 from u8800 but when i put all together i can install it from recovery without errors but when phone boots up stuck at huawei logo.
other roms(aurora,miui,...) works good so i think you might know where i failed?

Geno, How is your u8800 doing?Have you taken it to warranty yet? I hope you can get camera and wifi working. Then I consider the rom ready for everyday use.
my opinion
Tested it and i must say i was not impressed at all.If this is what ICS has to offer i must say i am disappointed. So i cant understand why all the fuss about it.i guess the final version will impress me.
sweet. It's working here on U8800. it's smooth enough for first release great work. thanks
Just so you know, Camera is listed twice in the Not Working section in the forst post
I have u8800 and my phone's screen freezes sometimes.I can't answer phone or something like that.It happens 3-4 times a day.I will send it to technical service. But which version i have to use? 2.3.5 or 2.2.1? I already installed 2.3.5 and i flashed 2.2.1 but bootanimation and oemlogo aren't the original ones. What should i do?

If you want to install CM7 (.32) you need to downgrade to froyo but if you want (.35) you can install it over Aurora.
Sorry but can I ask why to revert back to froyo from Aurora?

That would not work.
Find official froyo
Unzip it and put into your sdcard like /dload/update.app
Close your phone.
Press vol+ vol- and power and keep until update screen.
After the successful froyo downgrade root it.
Copy cwm
Install cm7.
That simple.

If you want to CM7.35, just install on top aurora with full wipe

I won't downgrade to Froyo, I just wan't to try CM7, and in CM7 install instructions downgrading to Froyo is mentioned, so I tought I will have to downgrade to Froyo and then install Cm7.
Thanks for all answers, will try installing CM7 35 right now.
EDIT:Can someone link me to CM7 .35 thread?

There are atleast three dev topics in the forum. One from genokolar and if i am not wrong there is a kernel dev for ezet's cm7.2 .32 by Paul*.
But... All of them are onhold or ended dev. And they all have bugs. So. What i am trying to say is if you want bug free cm7 then you should try ezet's .32

What's the main differences between Aurora and CM7.2 in your opinion?
Cause I want to go to Aurora though.

Sorry, for late answer...I didn't see any major differences...actualy I was more pleased with aurora, but I always got atleast 2 reboots a day on Aurora, so thah is the reason I tried CM7.
Now I have one more question...How do I get to stock GB now? I changed recovery.img when I was installing CM7, so do I need to change recovery.img to stock, and then "update" with official GB, or can I just directly "update" to official GB without changing recovery.img to stock before?
Thanks for your help

It is recommended to flash roms designated with u8800-51. This prevents the least amount of alike bricks.

Hello friends,
I am using IceCream Swift on my lg Gt540. I wanna down grade it to 2.3.6 or lower. Coz this 4.0.4 cyanogen mod 9 version is very slow , and hanging up the phone.. Phone is also working and responding very slow. So Please help me how to get back to 2.3.6. please check the images to know complete details about my phone..
I would suggest using miro's AOSP or SDSL or leoposas Zoe rom if u don't mind 2.3.7. There are both recovery and fastboot versions so use the method you feel comfortable with. Flash them the same way you did 4.0.4
