I have a question....My phon is the samsumg galaxy 3 but i want a better one (price 200-250) .
I m thinking at the motorola defy or a not new sgs or htc desire....
Can you help me?

i think i buy a motorola defy becouse its in germany cheap ( 180-230)
but i want cynogenmod becouse motorblur sucks(i think its so ugly)

Thats true the best phone upgrade would be to go for galaxy S
Defy is not much of an upgrade
The next best option is nexus S , in India its price fell yesturday to INR 20K(S-LCD not AMOLED)
thats around 300 Euros
By 1 month both galaxy S and nexus S price might fall again

Yes thats true Galaxy Ace is newer than Defy and in the same range and heard its gonna get gingerbread upgrade officially(personally I dont like officials)

yes but i don´t like the ace becouse it has a bad software developement.
I must have cynogen becouse i use a bluetooth keyboard and the hid apps don´t work.The sgs would be cool becouse the gaming ist better than the galaxy 3 and the defy is waterproof and has a gorilla display....
and a htc desire?
Go for motorola atrix, tegra 2 omg... or wait till samsung releases sgs2 tegra 2 version.

I've been here at xda-dev for a long time now and I just want to start a thread for all Pinoy Samsung Galaxy S III owners (future owners, as of now ).
Let's make this thread fun and interesting.
Hoping to be a future owner too. it all depends on how it looks+ finals specs and if it's compelling enough to upgrade from an S2

Galaxy S3 is awesome but for a smartphone I'm satisfied with my S2. If I have a quadcore device it would be an ultrabook. Just my opinion.
Using htc one x now, ill see this samsung S3 if looks better than this onex,and ill orders s3 rightaway online

Give it some time.
I felt the same when I used Note.
Few days later, it was all back to normal.

i too bought S2 1.5 months back....i feel the same way s2 forum is so vast!!!
my sister took my g3 otherwise i would have been flashing it everday....
but i still keep visiting g3 section....

I want to say goodbye to I sold my galaxy 3 with GM7 alpha works so nice but I wanted a bigger phone who was faster but still regrets that I bought this phone (the HTC one x) if I had a Samsung galaxy nexus I wil be running jelly bean now I need to wait or I am going to get a custom Rom

Nice second is the Note 2. I honestly love Samsung as a company they add something new and exciting with each of their new phone. I just wish that they made better build quality. Though i understand they went for a skinny light weight phone and all. I really wanted a solid build like the Nexsus 4 the build quality is Excellent on the nexsus 4. Oh well maybe next phone they will have better build quality. If not HTC here i come haha..

I'd say note 2 would of won if not then probably iPhone (say that with much disgust lol). HTC just can't beat the galaxy. They are nice phones but yea like look at the HTC one x+ still 1 GB RAM and no lte I can't understand why they wouldnt do what Sammy done and upped the ram lol oh well

My opinion...
1. Galaxy S3
2. Xperia T (It isn't the most powerful but come on its sexy, and the Xperia UI is much much cleaner than Touchwiz and Sense)
3. One X+ (Sense is horrible, but camera, etc are great on this)

I mean, what is the point if not to simply wait 6 months and then do it. Price will be lower etc.. at least that... At the end, you have a great piece of smartphone which is doing fine, like now
ps: looking forward to see the price tag on S4 and then the next Note. Christmas discounts beats them all at the end... and then, it's each to his own Comming from SGS II I skipped S III as it was flawed, no leap, no nothing IMO. Saw S IV might give the boost, but still I doubt seen CM Dev's are turning their back at it... Dunno, I must evaluate, but no S iV Mini is a true upgrade option for me...

yes me too. BUT...
I hate Nexus 4's display. so much blue. the dark black is bluish (blue-ish). And the display is not calibrated and again what I hate about Nexus phones is the camera is bad. Although the phone is very fast and I love the pure stock Google's Android experience!
and by the way, how much the Nexus 4 priced in your country? mine is $500, I'm in Indonesia.. SO EXPENSIVE!!
