Just a heads up for any one on three mobile.
As of october 7th exsisting customers can add eat all u want data for £3.00 a month. Which also allows the use of tethering as i understand it.
I Will be signing up as data use has been my biggest expense.
Hope of interest to someone.

thanks il be looking into it aswell, i get 1gb at the moment but i dont tether at all anymore to stop going over data cap
Hate to say it but grandfathered unlimited plans are going bye bye.
That is if you update your line. You can keep it as long as you don't update you cell line.
But when you upgrade to you next phone you'll lose your unlimited plan and you can either get 2GB for $25 or since we have unlimited data now we can get 4GB for $30....
Damn you AT&T.
Update: You get to keep it. Some AT&T rep didn't know what she was talking about.

pretty sure that's not true, our you would have heard a mass of **** from the online world, especially the new iPhoners. you just got a CSR who didn't know what they were talking about
Called AT&T... was told my grandfathered plan would remain unlimited when/if I choose to upgrade my phone.
If this had become their policy, I think we would have seen this posted & screamed about already... thinking that the person you talked to didn't understand what you were saying, or was just a moron.

Good point. I was so pissed. I'm going to call back tomorrow and talk to a different person. They better be right.
I have a US Naval Federal Account so they can't remove or modify anything without talking to my IT guy.
I'm a sales rep at At&t this is not true...and mostly incorrect word of mouth. Nothing down the pipeline of csr info and simulations of anything close to explaining away a unlimited data not being available to existing customers a BB and iPhone and a messaging phone I did yesterday alone all had the unlimited data two up another equip change so. No when your told something remotely like this situation explained, that is when you hang up and call again. Though any New Lines on existing plans or straight new can not get unlimited data minus other referred methods available via search.

Does $90 include voice/text or is that just for data? If not, you are better of just going with Sprint.
I'm all for regional carriers but using US Cellular, Sprint Towers, might as well go unlimited on Sprint?

I guess the ONLY way we can understand what the hell is going on here is:
|OP| uses the "CHEWBACCA DEFENCE" which will totally not make any sense.
And then probably the thread started making sense.

I'm on my hacked og using boost. Its on the standard plan, $50 unlimited. The real Android plan is $55 but since my donor wasn't android I cut it down. Had it 3 months, and in 3 more it will be $45. It's a hard plan to beat for the money.
But I can say, I looked at the new evo and just like sprint ...they wanted an extra $10 a month for service. Wtf man, that would bring it to $65....
I'll stick to my same donor and flash something new at some point

I don't know which market you are on but I'm in LOs Angeles where Sprint SUCKS makor a$$. I am waiting for November to hit and kick Sprint goodbye.
Metropcs is stronger than Sprint in the LA area and offer a phone like LG Motion. It's a decent phone and if not, they are adding new phones every month.
U can check boost mobile and virgin mobile. They r not that expensive. Metropcs is a option 2 but it sucks in my area.U may be aviable to flash ur current phone to use with boost, virgin or metropcs. I've seen treads about how to do it.
