For those of u who have a problem with the tablet shutting itself down after being in sleep mode for 1+ hours, hold power + vol down till the tablet does a hard shut down, then boot it up like normal, after doing that I haven't had any random shut Downs while in sleep mode

Did a cold boot here 10 minutes ago, no reboots so far...will test more and report back. Can't stand the RR anymore.

Ok just did that... i will report if the reboots still happen....
Thanks for the info.

I have had several and shutdowns now.
Only way to get it back on when it shutdown is to hold the power button for about 10 seconds.
Even after that though, reboots/shutdowns occasionally occur.
All this on stock ICS, coming from stock HC, WW version. Hopefully Asus will do another update. or two to get things stable again. Took 2 updates after the first HC to get it 100% stable.

My tablet was fine, I had left it and the next day I noticed that it had rebooted and froze at the ASUS screen. I turned it off and restarted it, so far it's ok.

tried this, still got a reboot freeze. it's very annoying but i'm not that worried since asus did a great job with honeycomb, even if it took a few updates.

I had tha issue with Honeysense. I believe it is not ROM based issue.
It was so hard to get into recovery mode and it was only thing I needed because my phone was in endless loop during the boot. I can tell that I needed an third arm to put battery in, pres power button and vol down and put battery cover in place
I am having this exact same problem, have been having it for awhile but it wasn't too bad as I don't turn my phone off... This would be awesome to fix
Using ARHD 5.2.1
Not Rom issue as it happens on every Rom for me

Maybe try bumping up the minimum clock to 350? I am going to try this tonight. The SOD doesn't happen all the time. Just enough to be annoying!

I'm experiencing this as well. It's been posted in the ICS dev thread too. We'll see what happens
Make that another. I've been waiting to get back to my computer from travel to see if a debugger can tell the whole story. I've noticed mine does it more when I leave the browser open instead of the home launcher.

I have read that the issue is with the wifi sleep policy, but I have not been able to avoid it yet.

I had that problem regularly with CM7 but not at all so far (4 days) with CM9 ICS.
I think I know!
I think I know what might be causing this.
The nightlies I had before caused the dalvik-cache corruption issue and I suspect it caused the deep sleep too. Since flashing the gapps found with Samiam303's nightlies, I've found that I don't get the deep sleep issue anymore. (yay!)
The nightlies are found at:

Give it a go and report back!!

Damn ics ..help..

Well all of a sudden after not touching it all day its flashing on off the Asus screen. Did the reboot holding power and down and select restart android .. no luck. Ill try reformating .. all I did today was a factory reset this morn.

OK so while its flashing all I have to do is hold the volume down and goes to the menu. Tried wipe data but start it then back to flashing.

I am having the same issues with many others in the forum if you open some of the other threads. I fixed the stuck Asus screen by simply holding down the power button till it hard resets.
Many of us noticed that the random reboot happens during deep sleep of the device.
Hopefully we will get another OTA fixing the random reboot issue like what Asus did for the TF Prime users.

Some how I had the android Guy show up and reinstall ics and seems fine. Also the wife's was powered down and had to reset hers. But it wasn't rebooting like mine. Wish they would have waited longer.
Both are model are B70..

PLZ Help- Tf300T will not turn on (working days before)

My tf300t is only about 1 1/2 months old. I had it running CM9 build from XpLodDWiLD. One day it was working just fine. I was watching a movie during some down time at work. Got home, turned it off and charged it. Few days later when i went to fly home, the tablet wouldnt turn on. I had the flashed the rom about a week before all of this and everything was running just fine.
Ive tried to boot the device using all methods i know.. Volume Down + Power/ Volume up + Power/ Volume up + Volume Down + Power/ Holding Power button for over a minute.
Anyone thoughts? or did it decide to commit suicide one day as i slept?
Might be a stupid question, but, have you tried putting it on charge?
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using xda app-developers app
Yes. I've read stories of people putting it on charge for a few hrs and it worked fine. So I tried that also.

Was it charging the whole time you were gone? (Which if I'm reading right was a few days)
It could be a SOD have you tried holding the power button for 15-20 seconds then releasing and trying to power it on again?

Try plugging it into a different charger and see if it powers on, or into a computer and see if it is recognized and just acting weird.
Try holding power and volume down and maybe itll go into the boot loader... if not might have to take it back
Check this post. May help.

Not really actually. I helped my friend with hardware issues..he had to send his 7 in so we used wug fresh toolkit to flash stock and unroot then OEM lock the boot loader... google/Asus had no idea. I have also heard that if its bad enough shape(like won't EVER turn on) then they don't know I assume they somehow get the boot loader back on there and just reflash firmware.

Charge it for 2 hours then boot it up by holding the power button down for exactly 30 seconds.
