Hey Guys,
Email:
Does anybody know how to add "All" to sync options?
Where is it located? (Framework?)
Browser:
Its annoying to type in "about:debug" to use full-blown websites.
And yes, there is ICS Browser+ on the market, but why does it require to have stock installed? (com.android.browser activity not found...).
(Currently on TF101 ICS)
Any suggestions?

Regarding the ICS Email app...it does have a sync "All" option...
Regarding the ICS Browser app... try my modded browser... I've moved the UA switcher to the Advanced menu so you don't have to type about:debug to see it... works on 4.0.3 & 4.0.4... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1481613... look for Move UA (UserAgent) Switcher To Advanced Menu

So if its working, why not moving to android general section?
i always see some useful mods in device forums, but if its working on every 4.0.X rom just release it as general..
thanks

Well...err... this was just one of the mods I worked on as part of my ROM release... I haven't tested it on other ROMs or devices... but in theory it should work with any 4.0.3 or 4.0.4 ROM...
can confirm, it works

I see this issue also in the UK
There's a fix by Roach for Prime rom but it may be incompatible with stock.

Just Tried Opera, it went to the desktop version of bbc.co.uk a couple of times, but now it just goes to the mobile site... so not sure what the hell is happening! User Agent still set to desktop
Also , I couldn't get opera to play any flash content either. I have flash enabled in its advanced options, and I have tried "Enabled" and "Click to Play". It doesn't matter which I try , a big play symbol appears where the flash should be, but when you click it dissapears and nothing happens.
Any Ideas?

Yes, Prime is based on latest OTA (and always is) and personally I don't see a reason to stay with stock.
The fix we're talking about is included in cumulative 2.0.3 patch, found in the Prime thread.
Do not try to install the fix on rom any other than Prime (including stock) because it contains rom-specific framework files. Instead, follow the instructions to install Prime 2.0.1 and update to 2.0.3 and you'll get a smooth, stable, solid rom in addition to just fixing user agent stuff.

1)So are there no problems at all with this ROM? Did I hear there are some problems with some apps with de-oxed ROMS?
2) Can I do with any version of transformer? Does it have to be Non 3g or 3g, what revision..... I keep reading about other revisions of TF101.
3) Do I need root....or will I get Root?
TIA

The BBC web site is notorious for using the mobile version of their site.
What I did was scroll to the bottom, select preferences and when the next window opened I looked down for where it says "Desktop Version ~ Same version of the site you will find on your PC". I clicked on "Get this" and it then opened the BBC site in Desktop version.

1. I don't find any problems using what's in my sig. Fast, stable, battery efficient. Everything is running as expected and I use quite a lot - 112 apps installed.
2. I believe you can do it with any version of transformer, excluding those with late B70 or any B80+ part number, see a bunch of threads about this.
3. Depends; you can root first and then flash custom rom using CWM, or you can straight use NVFlash version and you'll get root right away. (Assuming your transformer is rootable, see #2).

Any ideas how to fix/patch or work arounds.
I have just degraded from 2.3.5 to 2.3.3 Overcome 7 v4.0.0 rom and kernel and is working fine with most of the apps.
I followed the steps on this site as a guide:
< http://www.moniroth.com/mobile/android/how-to-install-overcome-rom-on-galaxy-tab-p1000.mh>, but download the stock rom and overcome 7 v4 rom from:
< http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1317384>, as the p1000.overcometeam.com site seem to be down.
I used the wipe version, and reinstalled back all my previous apps one by one and all are working fine.

Maybe you wana try fixing permissions at the recovery menu, I was told that would resolve most of the FCs issue.

Hate to bump an older thread but have a fix for the market. This is not related to the FC issues mentioned in the OP but the Android market may not like your DPI setting if you changed it. I had this issue with Adobe Flash and Where's my Water. To download apps that "are not compatible with your device" just edit your build.prop:
Code:
ro.sf.lcd_density=240
After you reboot, clear the market data and cache and you will be able to download your app. You can change your DPI back once your app is downloaded. I've had to do this on my G2 and the Tab.
Kind Regards,
Kevin

Agreed. I haven't found any app incompatible with OC 4.0 or now 4.1.
Although I have no idea how to edit that file (n00b) ....I use LCD Resolution app to the same thing (I think).
try the new update 4.1.0
I would suggest to use Overcome 4.1.0 too. After installing the ROM just apply the Old Market Patch from OC 4.0.0.
It works well for me without any problems with downloading apps. The newer markets are much more restrictive.
works for me that way, too. Thanks!
On overcome 4.0 i had problems with the market. After installing 4.1 nowipe zip everything works perfectly

Nothing to do with the ROM. When you install 4.1.0 (or 4.0.0) it resets whatever you had back to 240. And market works.
LMFAO
I knew it. So none of you have changed DPI *after* installing OC 4.1 and *not* had the market issue.
Therefore the original comments still stand.
Jeez.

After 4.1.0 update installation my native browser is too slow and I lost smoothness on scrolling. Otherwise, all other apps (interface, menus, options, etc) are bettert and much more smooth.
Does anyone else check this problem? I prefer smothness on all system, include browser ^^

No issues like that for me.
Why dont you install a new, better browser; both Dolphin Browser and Opera Mobile are pretty good.

Yes, I know all of these browsers, but in Overcome 4.0.0 the native browser is excelent on smoth scrolling, best ever I seen in Android...
I'll try to Wipe and made a fresh installation of 4.1.0 to check if there is really a problem.
Thks.
I'm running Overcome 3.0.1 Jupiter and am trying to wipe to 4.1.0 but I cant unzip the recovery file GB-Stock_Safe-V5. none of the zip apps I'v tried work.
Anybody know what is wrong. I've downloaded that file several times but always from the same source TeamOvercome
Ok, here's a basic question.
Does it play Flash?
The only thing I use it for is some local channels here in Canada (CTV, Global, etc.) have an online video streams for popular shows and I love them. And it uses Flash. And they don't have any dedicated Apps. (though they do have iPad apps... blah)
Please search in the future, there are multiple topics on flash.
flash works on jelly bean using an alternative browser such as firefox, dolphin, and ICS Browser +. Chrome will not work.
on august 15th flash will be taken down from the market and you'll have to install it via a backed up apk.

Huh, latest FF beta works fine for me with uploaded, rapidgator, depostifiles, etc....
Running PACrom/stock kernel.
May try un/reinstalling FF?
Edit: You're not using any kind of external download manager app, are you?
If anyone is using a stock AT&T LG G2 with stock firmware (D80010d), can you please use either the STOCK web browser or Chrome, ensure javascript is enabled, navigate to "bestbuy.com" (it will redirect to m.bestbuy.com), and see if the website works properly?
In particular, I'm finding that I can't search (type in something in the search bar and click the magnifying glass) or really use any of the menu's. If I go into the browser settings and DISABLE javascript, (and reload the page) then searching and most other aspects of the web page works fine.
I have the same issue with various other websites... however, if I leave JS disabled, it tends to break other things on other sites.
The webpage works fine using the browsers on my other android devices (though none of them have 4.2.2.)
I'm trying to isolate the issue to either a specific firmware version (D80010d) or perhaps android version (I need to find 4.2.2 build for the galaxy nexus to test that), so if you are running something other than D80010d and it works fine, please let me know.
Thank you
Gary

Oh, I put android 4.2.2 on my gnex and that website works properly... so it must be a issue with LG's build.
