Does anybody know what is up with that? Is Google intentionally doing this? Is there a work around? The Chrome browser is pretty nice and fast. It seem that Google is aware of it.

I saw a work around just yesterday I think... can't remember where. so I can't help.
If you can read this it was sent using my GT-P7510.
You gotta edit the build prop for now.

Or just download the patched version

Yeah, definitely working here for me too. (YouTube v2.1.6 on self-compiled CM6.1 rom.)
The youtube apk I'm using is attached, if that's what you were looking for. If you wanted the older version I'll look to see if I have it in older gapp zips

Hey I don't know if I ever thanked you or not, but I use the 4g metamorph you posted, it's cool, so thanks
Honestly I believe the mobile youtube site works better than the actual app.

Works fine for me. It updated itself via the Market Place.
Any difference from the last update?
I was having major issues with my YouTube with playing videos and getting just a black screen but the recent update from the marker corrected that issue its flawless now.

I'm experiencing issues with my YouTube app on my Xoom wifi running stock ics rooted, it force closes all the time... I've done all I can do and I'm not close to a PC to help me fix it.

It worked great on my GNex, I haven't tried on my N7 since I don't use most of those apps... flash it and find out Just make sure to backup first
EDIT: DON'T do it. Others have reported problems
Dont try it. I did and it cocked everything up on my seven. Force closes everywhere.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
I flashed in on the N7 and had major force closes all over the place.
Same here. Don't do it. This is not good for the Nexus 7. Had to run a recovery of system.

Could you grap a logcat as it opens? Then I can see what may be wrong, and you can send it off to the devs
Here is a logcat of when I try and open the file

I noticed about 4 months ago, Chrome on my S3 didn't like XDA.... So I used Firefox with no issues.
Then I had a LG Optimus G Pro (for about 1 week) with same results, so I used Firefox.
On my HTC One, neither Chrome or Firefox works on XDA, only the stock browser worked.
Now on my S4, I've tried all three and none of them work?
The page will load....... I can log in, but every time I scroll, the page reloads, which basically makes it unusable now...... Anybody else run into this problem?
Perhaps they are trying to get everyone to Tapatalk. It's a very good app.
Sent from my GT-N5110 using Tapatalk 4
yup. Same issue here. I have about given up using my phone to browse XDA. I really dont want to buy an app just to browse an internet forum....
I found a free XDA app in the play store that'll work, you might give it a try?

I use the xda app its a really good app. I don't really like going on the site through mobile and having to make the page bigger it seems to be slower on webpages also.

I use the xda app most of the time but dont have any issues using firefox or the stock browser to view it either?
