Need for speed undercover for PPC

Found an excellent 3D racing game for the X1 and many other handsets, loads of tracks and cars, full screen and hardware accelerated.

In my opinion it is not worth to buy. The graphics are not too good and the sound is really bad (midi). Only few options, the physics are crap. I'm not convinced. Get Xtrakt for free and a lot better game and graphics.

I bought the same game, I agree with you. The only good thing about the game is that it is pretty cheap, so it doesn't really matter if it's not as good as you hoped it could have been. I must say that the bad sounding midi songs, and even if the songs had good sounds it would be crap. :C
Atleast now I have two 3D games in my Xperia.. Xtrakt and NFS.

It hangs
When I touch an other car in the game it hangs for a few seconds.
Does anybody else have this problem?

how do u control the car? via touchscreen using a stylus, or by using the hardware buttons? i might just go and buy this game... after i get sick of StarCraft!

^^u can either use the D-pad or touch the on-screen buttons with ur thumbs.

Bosbode I have the exactly same problem. When I hit something it almost freezes...unplayable. Maybe Try to reinstall it or a different version. I dont know yet..

You have to disable fiberation in the option menu. That will solve the problem. Atleast it did for me.

I had the same problem with collisions/vibrations/freezes solved by turning off the viration function.
I also found the game crashed at the finish line of when racing the boss in area two, but this can be avoided if you play that particular level in portrait orientation.

disable ingame vibrations fixed for me

I installed the game and ran it. It comes to the page where it displays the gold EA symbol, and stay there. Dunno whether it is hung or it will continue. What is the average load time for the game?

Edit: PS Rapidshare is slow as bawls, I will upload it to somewhere else as well. I would host it on my site, except I don't know the legality of this, probably legal, but who knows.

Did you even test this? Once you start driving everything is extremely dark and a lot of things aren't working properly. I am on EvolutionX Froyo(yours), so that might play a role. I just think it's doing this because it's using some fancy smancy stuff that the Snapdragon gpu doesn't support. But the fps is alright, it runs about as well as an iphone 3g/3gs.

YES it most deff. was supposed to come out with the release of the Evo as reported by both EA and Sprint. I even emailed EAMobile and have yet to receive any response.....
even better we get to hear the DroidX rep say it was going to be only on the DroidX for 30-60 days now in one of those videos released at its launch.

Well i didnt test. Its made for powervgx gpu not adreno. Thats prolly why its black. This was pulled from galaxy s. Soo thanks for testing haha

adreno sucks i bet iphone 2g got better graphics.at least DROID'S gpu would've been great for the EVO.

Game looks like the Epic 4g, Buggy POS LOL Just get Asphalt 5, the new update seems to have fixed the lag, and graphics just as good or better than NFS Shift.

Just tested this on a Samsung Galaxy S and i plays perfectly well and smooth.
No problems with the graphics.

I just wanted to know which 3d games can be played on optimus 01.
give your list of tested games with version and size..

I have only played Pocket Legends so far, and it was downloaded straight from the market.
Am about to install NFS Shift and see how that runs.

All games work except hd games..

correct if i am wrong nfs shift 90mb version is hd one but i can play it easily.
just the loading icon is slow

Hey I saw Gun Bros on market , I installed it , it goes into menu , all good and well but when starting a new mission screen starts to flicker and eventually the game doesn't work anymore. Does Gun Bros work for any of you guys?

i buy nfs shift(90mb) but when to start appears nfs logo an then goes to homescreen, can't play .... Does anyone know how to make it work?

everything in game is dark i put the brightness screen to max and nothing.

hey buddy do u need a video proof?

I wouldn't oc to 825 just to play a game, the 58 mb version of shift works fine.

I'm guessing he is talking about the s-pen test that is one of many options when that digit string is entered in the dialer. Zig zag attached.

If I'm thinking right, you're referencing to how our note's seem to have an issue with super fast swipes on the screen? I've noticed this issue when playing Fruit Ninja, especially with the final fruit in arcade mode which you can repeatedly slash to boost your score. On my Galaxy Nexus I can swipe back and forth all day really really fast with no issues. It seems to not fully detect on the Note and you'll get broken trails. When I used imilka's CM9 this problem seemed to be resolved or at least the touch response seemed much better over stock. Also when I used the CM9 build it seemed as if banding and the video pixelation/distortion issues where a lot less. The new official CM9 builds may be even better since they have their own kernel built for them

real racing 3 not that good graphics?

Hi all i have downloaded the game from play store and the game has pixels. Am i the only one who has this issue? Nfs most wanted has better graphics than this. My nexus is all stock no custom roms or something. Here is a pic of what im telling you

Do you mean jaggies? The reason why it doesn't look that great is because it is not running at native resolution and textures are low res as well. Easier for them to do that than optimize the graphics for the new Mali GPU.

There is nothing wrong with the n10, blame EA for not putting in the time to utilize our hardware. Heck I am still waiting for them to add support on quite a few games.

Hey thanks for the link. To be honest i havent seen any difference . it looks the same. I have followed all the steps but it nothing changed and i have set it to extra high

Nice find, actually it's not that hard to edit the cfg file. I just haven't gotten around to look for them in my games yet, lucky to have the time to play it. I could side-load the games that aren't supported yet from my n7 also but again, too busy, plus I have enough games to hold me over until they add support.

I use the app and i see changes in reflections in the car and shadows at extra high the game crash for me can not handle. The game looks like it run in a lower resolution that sux.
