In my car I connect the phone through USB to play music on my SD card but this only works on mysense roms (stock GB/froyo as well as the doubleshot port) and cm7... Does anyone know why I can't do this with miui or sense 3.5 roms?

You need to mount the SD card and it should work.. I use usb for music all the time on miui

Manually mount? Or just set disk drive as the default connection? As the default it just keeps mounting and unmounting the card on miui/sense3.5

Yes manually mount and set as default, if it doesn't stick fix perms

best if done in Recovery itself.
Thanks saranhai I will try that on a sense3.5 because the miui still constantly disconnects via usb
Edit-nicgraners instructions work as long as you do not manually mount USB.. just leave it as default connection. Will try on sense 3.5 thanks guys

There is a thread called "themes for cm7" in the themes and apps forum that have several flashable fonts available. They might be only compatible up to I think nightly #28 though.

or you can use the app Absolute System for root. It has boot Animations and fonts that do work in CM7.

Or download another browser from the Market real quick.
They'd what I did. But just installing the browser from the zip file of the last rom I had flashed (cm7) ****ed up everything. I had to reflash the whole ROM.

Google search for the keyboard apk... i.e. HTC_IME.apk or worst case scenario download a different rom with the keyboard in it such as a desire HD rom. The use 7 zip to excract the file. Put it on the root of your SD card and install like any other app.
That didn't work. I'm trying to install it on evil d fusion Rom because of the arrows at the bottom

I've been working on an miui rom and some not all of the apps I put in the system/app force close. Ie. File expert. Jota text editor. Xda doesn't so I'm not sure what's going on. They work when installed through the market. Any ideas?

A lot of time I go to settings-Applications...then select the app or apps you are having problems with, then clear the data or cache. If its not serious, that normally resolves the issue. Hope it helps..

Also, did you make sure your system partition was completely wiped?
Fix permissions worked. Gonna have to see what I have to do to fix the permissions during install. I don't want to hassle users to fix when I finish the rom
