really, no reason. mostly because its fun for some. whats neat is that just today i read an article about benchmarks, apparently we've been posting benchmarks for tens of thousands of years http://goo.gl/x9LEH

Doesn't take researchers to find out men have been comparing their engine size since forever.

If you want to compete, use Antutu instead. Then you can compete with the best. But don't put your SG2 in the freezer before you measure
Alot of threads like this has been made and will be at the bottom of the forum in no time..

Nice I/O cheat there.
Anyway, Quadrant scores bore me. I'm only waiting for when someone gets higher than 9k, so that everyone forgets about it.

[ROOT] [ICS] S-Voice Epic 4g Ported

Hey guys,
Not sure if everyone has seen the news, but one of the Galaxy SIII's signature features (not a big deal, nor something I even care about, IMHO) S Voice has been leaked.
You can install it now if you're running rooted ICS, see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=26300180#post26300180
I've been running it for a few hours now, been working decently. Not that I'll ever use it, but pretty cool too see.
Note: It's just a skinned vlingo as far as I can tell...
Good find, but shouldn't this be in the Apps section?

Cortex A-15 vs A-9

Here is a video guys Cortex A-15 in comparison to Cortex A-9 quad:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zx84_mQ1YLw
Extremely dumb comparison. You are not using the same programs etc so it really does not compare anything except the programs.
Not sure what's more annoying, the useless comparison or him sniffling all through the video
Shame on this dumb video!
I feel sick after seeing this...don't make another with you disgustingly sniffing all the time.

Hmmm... Some of the people here need a lesson in proper etiquette and good manners.
You could have simply said that the video wasn't up to standards or helpful at all. You don't need to personally attack the guy.
The video is not up to standards and not helpful at all.

HTC One - Benchmarks Focus

Hi all, for those of you interested, I shot a video focus on the HTC One performance against some benchmarks like: Quadrant, Antutu and Speedtest.net.

Just wanted to give you an idea with stock rom, thus to be comparable with other devices out of the box.
Anyway, I saw that the result you posted was achieved running an overclocked CPU @1.9GHz right?
Nice. Now that we have our eyes on OC'd results, do you guys think HTC underclocked the cpu to 1.7Ghz like they did with the Sensation? I'm not sure why I've been taking my time rooting this bad boy, but cranking up the clock is the first thing I'm going to do.
