Official ICS for NS4G hasn't been released yet.
Perhaps you can find an AOSP based ROM in the development forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=883.

I'd love to try flashing some custom ROMs to my phone. I did this with the ICS one but it was just a simple matter of putting the ".zip" file into my SD storage and going through the power button and volume up buttom directions. Is it the same thing with this one? or do I have to add a bunch of other stuff like CMW recovery and all these different type of things?:silly: I'm a true noob lol
Yeah you gotta flash the ROM and gapps through cwm or twrp recovery

Looking for Rooted Stock ROM 4.04

Can anyone help a fellow nexus s 4g-er out?

check out the download section of peter alfonso's site
Any lastest nightly or it have to be a certain 4.04?

Also this really should be in the general section and you could probably get more answers that way as well

You could just get one click to stock off the one post and upgrade from GB to ICS.

What should I do to not get the OTA?

I wanna keep lte, and I have no issues with 4.2.1
Because once the ota comes the stupid notification doesn't go away
Should I root? I heard if you're rooted you don't get the OTA

If you don't have stock ROM or Kernal the update should fail - I think.
Just ignore the request to update once it comes into your phone.

you just need to reinstall the old modem once you updated to get LTE back
