All Rite , This is what every one had been waiting for .......
I had been able to pull up my BEATS framework from my XL model.
And I had ported it to my Galaxy S2 through CWM .
So There ends the run for the BEATS for your phone to run in now to grab a headset and feel the difference that It produces within your phone.
I need more testers to test this and confirm on different models of the current Android versions.

There is no needed hardware except for the Beats Headphones. Everything is EQ based Ibelieve
Hardware needed is just the piece of earphone which can be replaced by Samsung too, but all thats working is from inside .
It fc's on both my smartphones (Nexus S with AOKP (latest build, I think 25) ICS 4.0.3 and Matr1x Kernel, and Galaxy S II with stock 2.3.4 XXKH3 and Siyah Kernel 2.6.8) The HTC music app. Is that normal behiavour? I can provide logcat from them if you want to

The interesting thing is that the update.zip doesn't have any framework file but just the HTC Music and the HTC Music Widget. Are they moded into the apk or have the dev forgot to include them?

this is honestly really dumb. go get dspmanager or Equalizer or anything from the market and you'll get many more options. plus it will work on your phone if it isn't HTC.
literally the only thing that beats does on the rezound and whatever else is change the equalizer to have more bass, and only when you use the ear buds that come with the phone. it's complete crap, nothing but a marketing gimmick.

Since you don't have root, there is no way that i know of to force install on SD since this app isn't officially released.

Hey, i'm running HD Remix atm, and was wondering if i can install this player parallel to the sense player?
Had a few close forces, but can't expect a perfect application with it being a leak.
The said, I've been very critical about Googles UI which is why I'm a fan of HTC Sense. However, this looks great and is easy to navigate and use.
Really like the album stack view, when using the phone in landscape position

Seen some reports elsewhere of this causing high battery drain due to processes staying open in the background even if the app is FC'd.
I did higher than normal drain when I used it on Oxygen 2 rc4 so I've removed it for now.
Anyone else?

Try this. I used it on my HTC Desire on a older copy of nfs shift and worked well

I'm sorry if I'm posting old news but I just can not find a fix for the Tango upside down issue on the ffc...

so far the front camera is upside down still, when i tried the "root explorer" fix from XDA Developers and rebooted,
it just made the camera on my end black so i couldn't see my own face but the person on the other end still saw me upside down.
So I just changed the entry from Samsung back to HTC and saved and exited and rebooted once again. Is there another solution?

The build prop edit is Nexus S, not Samsung anymore. I'd you download the old version of tango before it got updated, it should work. I also heard that people were saying even though you could see yourself upside down its correct on the other end. I'm not too sure because its hit and miss for alot of different people. Search, it's all over the CM thread and q&a section.

Yea, I noticed Tango got real janky after the last update or 2. If I flash back to my OEM rom 2.2 Froyo, it will be normal. I will try the Nexus S trick and see if that works. Thanks for your reply

The media link hd won't work on this phone. You need sense 4+ or sense 5 (basically JB Bulids) if so the wi-fi driver won't support two wireless multicast streamings so you would only be able to use DLNA and not screen mirroring. This thread is now worthless..
Just cleaned this thread up so you guys now what's going on...
Trickdroid 3.0.0 fortunately hasn't deleten the media link configuration app (the rom hasn't had any system apps removed), however I can't test until my media link comes.

Reason why most roms don't have the configuration
Ok, since all of the new roms are lite sense, it doesn't remove the media link and also the main sense 4 full roms have it deleten (rom devs think it's bloatware)

Solution to this problem
However this is not the case... (Thanks to xda search, research on the device I came up with the theory only the HTC One S bulids with full sense and is not deleten in any way ,have media link; the problem is that many of the desire hd sense 4 roms are bulit on the htc one sv where there is no media link for that bulid (Manual states you need a htc one / s /x / v). This is because the manual states the "one" series, has media link so looking at older roms i.e. trickdroid has media link)
What I mean by "has media link" is the app of the media link I haven't yet done big discoveries

On TrickDroid someone said on the 22nd September 2012 that the 3 gesture kept on leading them to the media link screen. So I finally found a rom with the media link app; will try trickdroid and report if it works.

Things I came up with to fix this problem.
Theory with trickdroid media link:
- Try ver 3.0.0 and I'm going see if that previous bulid works as 4.0.0 is desire x mixed with one s
*Theory with XXXX rom
- *Testing other roms with one s/x bulid
*Theory with pulling it out of the a htc one s bulid and pushing it back
- *Ummh last resort thought
*Theory with making a XXXXX app for the media link
- *Haven't thought much about this, opensense sdk could help once they release their api's of the media link but you'd need a partner api request form since HTC haven't released this api publicly yet...
*Ask developers about making media link work
- *Actually developers could implent it

Not really :laugh: I still develop on the desire hd. Just that I got sense 5 booting on the sensation; it's mindblowing ! Hope it will come for the dhd; once patcha or tweakos fixes the kernel :fingers-crossed:
Hey guys! So as you would have probably seen, Android 4.4 kitkat is out for the Galaxy S3 ! Big news right, I know im excited!
So I checked it out, its smooth and as far as I can tell pretty damn stable, no crashes or bugs for the short time I was using it

This ROM is amazing. There are some camera issues but as I never use the camera it's become my daily. The battery life is a huge step up from samsung ROMs, I put my phone through quite heavy usage and 1 charge a day is more than enough. Compare that to it basically living on the charger cable with other ROMs. I've had 6 devices and many variants of CM, this is right up there in terms of optimisation and speed. I'm sure once temasek resolves the few remaining issues it will be one to beat. Can't recommend it enough. Haven't been this excited for ROM releases since codefirex on my old desire HD.

Well I suppose I have done something wrong with my phone. I have some crashes on Android System UI and few FC with certains apps like MC5, Sony Gallery or Poweramp.
Maybe it's the Android L keyboard I have installed (zip) which have broken something. I will have to wipe all and reinstall a clean KitKat.
Still haven't found anything that comes anywhere close to Quickpic as a gallery program... latest version even allows you to view Flickr, Picasa, Drive, Baidu, One Drive and more, whilst also working fine with the L preview!
Not to mention that it also uses Immersive mode when viewing photos!
