I'm not shure if is this the place, but here goes my problem.
A few days ago i decide to root my devide and after a loooong night o brick and stafs... i finally did it
So i proceed to install two rooms based on note 7 firmware... the fisrt one present bugs...
The i try with the second one, this was more stable but then i deactivated autorotate... and the next day when i activated again the screen still on portrait mode, so i decide to go back to stock
The real problem came here the first rom stock... all sensors stop working (besides get wet sim an sd card... still wondering why) so i flash another rom and still the same... all sensor marking 0s
after a long day... i decide to back to custom room and all my problems solve besides autorotating... dont understand why stop working (even flashing with pit the rom stock)
Games and Youtube(when i put on full screen) rotate to landscape... but other apps like whatsapp, facebook, multiwindows, etc... doesn't rotate...
Any suggestion??
I also try this method (enter root explorer and paste this libgnustl_shared.so on /system/lib), but the phone get laggy on the lock screen

Hey, I recently tryed to install a costum cyanogenmod ROM in my C7 7041x and it didn´t work, then it got into a bootloop and I hat to reformat it, but I had deleted the stock keyboard and launcher apps (and others), and now I don't have a way of interfacing with the phone (aldough I can go into the settings).
I cant flash the stock firmware on my windows 10 pc :\ (not even disabling the driver enforcement).
So I'd like to know if I can push the keyboard and launcher apps without having to interface with the phone.
Or beter yet help me flashing cyanogenmod or a similar quality ROM.

I just installed an aosp rom and I use my launcher to lock the screen as a device admin. On my touchwiz based rom there's a mod that allows fingerprint to be used even after a reboot so whenever I lock the device using the device admin I can still unlock using the fingerprint.
However I couldn't find something similar for aosp, it constantly requires me to put in the pin and that's a little irritating. Is there a mod that I'm supposed to install because I couldn't find it.

I just changed from Stock ROM to latest lineage OS with TWRP. After installing some APPs, i figured out, when call comes in or out, display gets off (dark) and doesnt comes back easily. Now, touch doesnt response so I cant unlock with pattern. Booting to recovery doesnt give me touch response so I cant swipe for "allow changes".
How could i fix this? Maybe with flashing now Recovery or Kernel via Download Mode, but how to do? Thank u
I suggest flashing back to a completely stock ROM and start over.
The screen going black could be an indication of a problem with the proximity sensor. The touch could be a driver issue in the custom ROM.
Edit: Airdroid Mirror doesnt work to unlock pattern lock

but i forgot to tell u there is working USB Debugging with working Airdroid. Befor the issue Airdroid Mirror works great (control movements and clicks via Windows AirDroid Tool), but now with the issue i cant unlock pattern lock with airdroid. No response while moving Finger/Mouse but function keys like home work in Airdroid and also at touch.
Any idea how to fix this special thing? Is this an proximity sensor error?

Don't think the proximity sensor would be related to Android mirror.
Since you can't unlock the phone because the touch does not work, I would flash back to a stock ROM and check as many functions as possible. If the phone doesn't function properly on a stock ROM, it is unlikely to function properly on a custom ROM.

I just flashed one of some stock roms,this one: I9505XXUGNG2_I9505OXAGNG2_DBT frome the thread "go back to stock rom" and did wipe data factory reset. It installed some apps, but then no touch is responding.
I did opened phone, reconnected all cables but no luck. How to bring back touch is working?
Try one of the stock roms from samsung-firmware.org that is specifically for the carrier that originally issued the phone.
Could the problem be a loose connection?
Same problem here. Its an Samsung S4, german version.
I tried the jfvelte-version from https://twrp.me/samsung/samsunggalaxys4valueedition.html and it works great. Touch-screen works like a charm. Maybe this info will help other users.
Hello, when using (D855) stock rom and stock based rom (Fulmics 8), the phone freezes extremely after the account and apps are installed, I can't take any action, The system is not responding, the home screen is not responding errors, also the phone is unavailable when I put a screen lock it becomes, the password cannot be entered (I don't think it's hardware related as it works very well when using Lineage OS) Used when Nova Launcher is installed (no screen lock), but when you open the notification panel, vibrate the phone, the phone becomes unusable when the settings are in overview. This only happens when using stock and stock-based rom (Fulmics 8). Is there a solution?
