Just wondering, will there be a syndicated froyo rom coming soon? I loved shuriken when I was operating on DI18 and would love to see ACS cook up a newer version for DK28.

+1 this is the ROM I'm waiting for.
They must be waiting on the source or something.
+1 +1
Please post non-development threads in General Section.
Wanted to ask the developers, that's why I posted in development, sorry.

Syndicate "Frozen" is in the works as we speak. Keep a close eye on our team thread here on XDA and Twitter @acsyndicate for updates and news. It's the easier way to contact our developers as well.

Thanks, I can hardly wait

Is there a kernal 1.8 for the newest GB update? If yes, where is it?

Well, HTC just dropped the kernel source for the Desire-Z's GB update, along with other devices. Since the G2/Desire-Z is a cousin of the Shift hopefully that is some indication that the Shift's can come soon
any news yet i want oc bad
trust me when it happens everyone will know within seconds
Dude any day now geesh

Very exciting, idk why tho this doesn't guarantee stable builds for our phones, not soon anyway.

Ill wait for the experts to have a go first. Without drivers I'm certain.it.won't be smooth on many devices, certainly not Tegra 2.

Wow!
so i thought i would open up a official port request here i am looking for some new aosp roms to port as the ones i was going to port were taken.. no offense just wanted them for myself lol.. but please post any rom requests here and i will do my best to port them..
Why port? AOSP can be built from source, that is a way better way in making an AOSP based Rom.

There is many guides across the net, the best advice is just dive right in. Then when you get a hang up just ask questions, there is many people that can help out.

Please port UKE
i dunno
some cm9 roms or ics roms?
vicodan why must you be a douche at all times.. uke really already done.. on sdx-developers.com
I was thinking about using my other hard drive to compile from source but most of the guides I've seen are calling for 64bit. I only have a very old school 32 bit setup so I'm out that race LOL

Maybe It's the ICS guide we have written then, because I was going to try to compile from peppermint( uses ubtuntu repositories) but stopped at the 64 bit part LOL

Lol VICODAN is VICODAN, you learn to love it man. If you don't really know how to compile from source though I'd recommend you start there.
I understand wanting to help out and port things users want BUT what happens when there is a bug that requires fixing and you are unable to attempt to fix.
Like one_love_420 said, just dive in and spam IRC ;-)

As stated in the "Getting Started with Arduino" handbook, coding is much like starting a punk band, in that you only need to know three chords. In other words, just get started, you will pick it up as you go (besides, as far as coding goes, with the exception of applescript, it really does not get much easier than android).

Faux123.. One of the great kernel devs has started supporting our device! U can verify this by checking his git. With other great devs like pongster, simone, andreilux, glewarne.. The future looks very very good!!
Edit1: morfic gets a note II Too..
Furure looks brighter hahaha

Thats what i am talking about.. This is going to be epic!
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
hmmm i would like to see if all kernels devs would join together (gokhan, andrei, faux, simone and etc.) and would try to make superb kernel ofc it is only dreams
OMFG.
Faux on both of my phones. This is fauxing awesome. Faux yeah!
Precisely my reaction! I missed him after i switched from the one x!

I am hoping for a dual-boot kernel hope it will be soon available
This would be his first venture outside of his Qualcomm world so don't expect any wonders at first.
In cases where reputation preceeds the actual work it mostly ends up in something disappointing... At least faux does some original work as opposed to some clueless cherry-pickers people already mentioned here, even if it raises some eyebrows of some devs I've talked to including me about the benefit of any if those changes.
At least I'm happy if there's somebody which would invest some energy in bringing up the Linux scheduler up to date.
YAY always nice to see great dev's developing for Gnote2
BTW Codeworkx got note2 yesterday too
Yeah though its the lte version. Still practically the two devices minus some stuff are the same so we will reap the benefits too!!!!
Andreilux just the fact that we hav great devs like u and faux. Smells so much like awesome dev for the device!
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
Until other phone manufacturers realize to use huge batteries i think the future looks bright, cause demand. It's just epic to use phone without worrying battery run out on the move. At least for me this is first phone I don't need to turn off anything to make phone last till I'm back at charger.

Even codeworkx got 7105... seems like 7100 owners will also benefit when he starts development on cyanogenmod

Sadly no.. Not yet... Though he is a fast dev.. Nd this is the first exynis for him.. So..
It should be arnd the corner!!

news!!
MORFIC.. One of the best devs around.. Also bought a TMO note II and will most likely build kernels for us!
He is a very famous kernel dev for the nexus devices.
The increasing popularity of the device is nice to see
This device should have awesome development
