How to make miui themes - Huawei Ideos X5 U8800

As the title says, Are there any miui theme guru's who can give me some tips on how to theme. I am just wanting to do simple things like take the battery icon from one theme and put it into another as well as make a black statusbar. Any help or links would be appreciated.

Finally found a link that helps explain what to do

Original theme Touch?

I am to the search of this theme, someone can attach it or send to [email protected]?Thanks to everybody.
Are you searching for this theme ? There's is already a thread about it. Or there is a thread with a lot software and themes here
Thanks but the theme from me looked is not found..
I'm not quiet sure what exactly you're searching for...?
I am having the same design, just installed this Theme and Blackbars
Here you can see a screenshot of my theme, isn't it looking the same you're searching ?!
No it is not even this.
It is that in figure with the blue bars and the softkey greys..

Where to get themes?

I was looking for some good themes. I tried the themes on freeware pocket pc and they didn't have a very wide variety and the ones I tried didn't even work. So if anyone could point me in the right direction and maybe some instructions on how to install them (I think maybe I am doing something wrong) Also I was wondering if anyone has found custom slider noises. Thanks for any help
VZW Blue Imagio theme HERE.
And blue theme taskbar to go with it HERE.

Lost Transparent Slider

Since installing the Professional V2 theme, which I really like, I have lost the transparent slider. All I have is an opaque slider now. The screen below shows it where the home button should be.
I've tried installing additional sliders to get it back, but no luck and I've asked on the theme thread.
Can anyone help?
Looks like a transparent slider problem.
I had the same problem when using Energy's Rom and installing the dusk theme on it. I had to install a cab fix from that thread.
I'm not sure if it'll help you or screw your theme up since it's not the same as dusk. If it does i already apologize since im a noob when it comes to theme's
Here is the Link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=585072
Look at Post 2 and in there you'll find an attached file called "Dusk_Manila_2.1_Transparant_Slider.CAB".
Maybe that could solve your problem.
That's perfect. Thank you for your help.

[Q] REQ: Semi-transparent statusbar for Oxygen 2

Desperate waiting for someone to come up with a theme that has 50% semi-transparent statusbar for Oxygen Gingerbread.
Or rather, just the statusbar without theme.
Tried to modify using Ninjamorph, but device would just restart and restart.
So if someone can do it, or give advice on how i can put it there, please help.

Oxygen 2 Rc6

can't make it work
maybe someone can provide a semi-transparent statusbar .zip please
Not only the status bar semi transparent but a full theme
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=852023
I would love a transparent status bar always, on any ROM I use.
I know there are ways to do this yourself, customize it in a way.
but i've read and its pretty hard, thinking of doing this every time after I flash a new rom.
I dont like a full theme, but i do like to have a transparent status bar on my homescreen, like the one in MIUI for example.
Maybe its possible for theme developers here to create a flashable transparentstatusbar.zip for some of the main AOSP roms, oxygen, cyanogen, villain
I would appreciate it a lot.
yup ..... yup .... yup

Oh i was unclear. What i meant was, just the statusbar, not the statusbar menu (although the menu is very nice as semi-transparent too)
Thanks anyway
Solox
I'd like one too.
It's amazing, i have searched through all internet, and still not found working solution... tried different framework files and always ended up in boot-loop.
how hard can it be?!
Why MIUI rom has transparent status-bar and oxygen or cyanogen not?
It seems weird to have old-school win98 style (or worse) status-bar, wen we have such power in our phones nowadays. And I assume that if MIUI can do it, it should be possible...
I hope that someone figure out a working solution. I will thank this guy in advance

There's a section for themes and apps, development isn't it.

i'm so sorry..is my first thread...
do i create a new thread or is it possible to move it into the correct section ?
Ermm I think a moderator will move it for you in due time.
Sorry to be blunt but we have had a huge spate of people posting off topic threads in the development section and as noted in a recent news item on the xda portal It's driving developers away! Much appreciated that you didn't argue like most people do though
I was confused with an italian forum,in the "modding section" i can post my theme thread.
However,is the first and the last time I will post in the wrong section..
Post Moved
Future Ref just drop us a PM if you need anything doing thanks
i think that's all for now,thanks !
Looking good, downloading now. hope you intend to keep updating this and maybe bring some new and cool stuff tto this theme. Theres plenty of white and blue themes out there so keep at it ad your own style to it.
Keep up the nice work
It's just a default blue theme,I didn't find nothing when i search on the net,so i decided to create this theme, however, there's some things that has to be fixed..
I'll fix them soon...
you didn't edit the torch to blue that was done by me and i wouldn't usually make a fuss about it but the fact you're trying to take credit for something you didn't do
http://www.xda-developers.com/android/add-some-blue-style-to-your-miui-torch-app/
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1180995
I found an apk on the net of a blue torch...
Now,I suppose it was the torch you edited..I'll give you credits...
EDIT : I saw that you also created a blue theme...I didn't know about the theme when I created my theme,so if there are other things similar don't ask me credits for other stuff.
I used photoshop for skinning all the orange stuff an I use the comand "invert" and then adjusting contrast and light, nothing more...the same thing is for the miui thread.

Saturday I'll go on holiday, when i come back home I'll release a new version of the theme...
