depends on u i use cm 14 feb built by brugerz and it fast good and stable
If you want customisation options and themes and general stability then go for any of the cm7 KANGs they're all good but if you want just a light stable stock ROM with some tweaks for performance you can go for Swedish Snow over at modaco..

CyanogenMod 7 is definitely the most stable rom for blade.
All blade roms are stable, just ICS aren't, try all rom, and choose your best.
Send from my awsome ZTE Blade!

I would say the most stabe is going to be the most recent stable release 7.1.0, there are a couple of other good cm roms like absolution and tdj's 7.2 cm.

I agree, If youre looking for the most stable AOSP rom itll have to be CM7 Stable 7.1...although I have been running the latest Nightlies 252 without any problems with anything. Smooth as silk. But yeah TDJ's CM7 7.2 kang is pretty awesome as well with some new added features such as a T9 dialer plus a few others I cant remember atm

Hi,
Would like to if the camera works on Idea Blade with this ROM installed ? Any Indian Idea Blade users checked the Camera and GPS and 3g ?
not sure f the indian blade is different from the UK version but if the cyanogen rom from the cyanogen site works on your blade this rom will also work as its built from it with more features added mate

It works perfectly on the Idea blade
thanks for giving a clear answer on this situation mate
Hi,
Just installed on Idea Blade and it's giving a camera error...just like the earlier cyanogen roms. the camera driver seems to be missing in this too.

Which build did you flash? I'm on the 7th feb build and camera works just fine
there's a stripped down version of cyanogenmod which targetbsp has built it doesn't have undervolt kernel so plz add it in the first post.
Hi,
I installed the 7th Feb version too and same error, cannot connect camera...seems the Idea blade has used different camera hardware in some devices.
Hi There,
I have a Gen1 OLED UK Orange San Francisco that has been upgraded to Gen2 via TPT method. I am running a Ginger Stirfry variant
I am rooted and running clockwork mod.
I would like a super clean as close to stock as possible Gingerbread rom. An official ZTE blade 2.3.5 build would even do.
Just something super clean and super stable, with decent battery that I can flash with minimum hassle.
Any help appreciated.
Cheers

Thanks for your help. I tried swedish snow I think but didn't lie it hat much. Do you have a link to the other 2? I ran a search but could not find them.
Will none of the stock 2.3 zte roms work?
Both the roms have threads in the Blade Android Development sub-forum
If people could just search......
Try this, which says broken but it's stable ya....
Right now i am using this NIGHtly latest(see link), which will never hurt you at any instance.... very smooth and also u can play games without lag.....

I love Unofficial AOKP
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1441462
Many more customization options than NexusHD2 ICS (which I find useless). And battery and speed is great.
Thx
And the stability of this ROM ?
because Nexus HD2 that I tested was a Bugged release

all ics are not stable for now because it dont'have a full hardware accelleration but only an hack.
if you like stability put an gingerbread rom
I would go with xylo's aokp unofficial build. its getting closer and closer to a final, only thing missing is full hwa, but its definetly a great daily driver.
I'm using NexusHD2 ICS V 1.6 Of course there is no ICS rom with full Hardware acceleration for the HD2. This rom is very smooth as i use it everyday. The battery life is VERY GOOD (i get about 23 hours on moderate use).
there is no best mate, just "better", if u want fast, then go for AOKP aka IceCreamTosti, if u prefer a stable want, choose Nexus ICS CM9 from tytung's thread
I'm using the AOKP rom, dont have any real problems with it.
I'm also using Xylograph's unofficial AOKP rom without stability problems.
Thanks guys for your feedback
+1 Xylograph's unofficial AOKP rom
NexusHD2 is nice.
cm9 beta1 leo with hwa. I ve been using it and its stable and fast.
Out of the Nexus v1.6 and the ice cream Toastie rom is there anything that doesnt work on each rom? ie marketplace, camera
It appears to me that these two are the most popular SD ICS Roms - i want to make a choice between the two without testing really so any input will be greatly appreciated
THANKS LOVE XDA
You really should try it!
The fastest, stablest and best battery saver is Typhoon CM7 ROM! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=933951
Typhoon rom is not a ICS rom.Question is for ICS.

How about battery performance in the Xperia ROM?
Hady
Xperia D possible that is fast and smooth but I doubt whether stable because it has a lot of extras and goodies.
If you want a stable rom to select the latest Quarx 09.04
where can I get the latest Quarx 09.04? Is it CM?

I'm sorry, the latest version is from yesterday.
Thanks. I tried the CM9 ROM, but it was not as fast as the CM7,2, maybe because ICS/JB requires more CPU power than GB? Also battery performance is bad.
I am looking for something stable/fast/good battery performance. what do you recommend?
Hady
Forget ICS or JB based roms—there are no stable ones for Defy, or with good battery life. I've tried all of them, and I always run into problems. Your best bet is to stick to CM 7.2 stable or nightly: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1458729
Thanks Glaux. I am currently using CM 7.2 nightly latest, and also tried the latest stable one, but seems that my deep sleep percentage is very small in CPU spy.... how can I make it go in deep sleep? how can I know what is stopping it?
Hady
I'm running the newest Quarx CM10 rom.
Very stable for me.
I've made some minor modifications with Titanium Backup, removing all the apps that i dont need.
thank u for ur reply..can u send the link of Quarx CM10 rom and what r all the minor changes you did.
In my experience, wajkiUi and MS2Ginger are two most stable roms. Both of them are GB and supports 720p video recording with no bugs. I personally prefer wajkiui and trust me i have tried most of available roms on xda for defy.
Thanks to hard working developers :good:
