[ROM] Fla.sh X2.3 - No Longer Supported by Me

Hi All!
THIS ROM IS NO LONGER SUPPORTED BY ME. IF YOU WANT TO GET RID OF PROBLEMS CAUSED BY THIS ROM, FEEL FREE TO MIGRATE TO OTHER ROM.

Hereby, I decided to stop cooking ROM, until there are significant differences, especially on the features. Until now, almost all ROMs have the same features, no one tries to provide something new, except coolya, redmaner and ketut.kumajaya. I'm very pleased to see this thread is the first thread which get 1000 replies in our community, let's thank the 1000th post I hope I could bring something different, something new to our community.

How To Install?
Download the latest release and put it on your sdcard
Go to recovery mode
Navigate with volume rocker, choose "install from sdcard"
Choose "choose zip from sd"
Choose FLASHX2-CWM.zip then choose YES
Let it run and install for you
Reboot your device, wait until it's fully booted
How about the additions? How do I install the add-ons?
Put your needed add-on on your sdcard
Go to recovery mode
Choose "install from sdcard"
Choose "choose zip from sd"
Choose add-on you wanna flash then choose YES
Let it run and reboot
And.. How to install the updates?
Download and put the update files on your sdcard
Go to recovery mode
Choose "install from sdcard"
Choose "choose zip from sd"
Choose add-on you wanna flash then choose YES
Let it run and reboot, wait until it's fully booted
Additions
DT A2SD + A2SDGUI For partitioned SD-Cards
You need to install this update if you've a partitioned sd-card. Don't forget to tick DT: Auto Start in Tweaks manager then apply and reboot. You'll get bootloop for several times.

Honeycomb battery mod (green circle)
If you're a fans of Honeycomb battery icon, this one should match your choice. The battery indicator circle is dark green colored to match the theme, go download it.
Note that this mod will revert your theme back to the Fla.sh X2 original one.

Bug & bugfixes
Power widget won't show anything
It's caused by grouped widget. To fix this, try to reboot. If that can't solve the problem, turn the WiFi on, then turn off again. If the problem remains exist, remove AppWidgetPicker.apk with TitaniumBackup but you'll losing grouped widget functionallity.

It has BLN, and CRT... Messaging skins, It hasn't. I'm gonna port honeycomb theme after uploading the ROM. Now I'm trying to upload it again

But in the meantime, I'll add a smaller text selector, the right popups and smalled usb-logo. Maybe I can also fix that battery issue.

I would recomment you to look into the popup menu text colour
If possible chnge tat also to blue .
Say when u long press homescreen ..the text is difficult to read with d dark background..check it out..

No ..its only for official gingerbread based roms ...try cm7 themed ics from android market.

First, use the Fix of ketut.kumajaya for make the bootanimation works

I would like to know if this ROM is prepared for daily use. I have a friend who uses Galaxy Ace, and he would like to have better battery life and probably better results than using stock ROM.
Is there any known issues such as WIFI, 3G, connectivity, something that I must know before proceeding with it?

Hola fellow trolls and mortals, this is my first ROM here on XDA, so take it easy on me :fingers-crossed:
Before we kick things off,
Note the First : 22/7 version number you say? π i say..
Note the Second : This is not only applying a theme and giving you a ROM, i have also done modifications to the SystemUI and framework files.
Note the Third : Deep sleep works for me on this ROM, if it doesn't for you go blame the person in the mirror
Note the Fourth : Do NOT mirror, please.
Note the Fifth : Y'know... "Reserved"
Onto the ROM, then :
FEATURES
Based on CM9 RC4 by Wayland_ACE.
Nims11 ICS kernel.
Aluminium theme by elelinux applied as default.
JB styled notification drawer and status bar.
30 steps volume.
Smooth Scrolling.
Horizontal Task Switcher ICS style.
Adrenaline Engine 4.4.
NO GApps and NO setup wizard.
SuperSU instead of Superuser.
Walkman Music player. Removed the default music app.
CM File Manager. Removed default app.
Apex Launcher used. Removed Trebuchet.
Build.prop tweaks.
Deep sleep works properly.
100 MB size.
BUGS
The app image in recents app view is not clear [a fix tomorrow]
Same as in CM9 RC4.
It's treasure hunt time, find 'em and tell me.
FLASH PROCEDURE
Wipe data and cache.
Go to mounts and storage and format /system.
In mounts and storage, mount /data.
Flash ROM.

Hey SGA users,
I have made a CM10 ROM for you guys to enjoy.
It is based on CM10 by jellaxy release 5/11/12.
Actually this is my first Time that I have made a ROM and posting on xda.
so please guys don't be harsh on me.
FEATURES
Based on Jellaxy build 5/11/12
Nims11 JB kernel v 2.2
Ubuntu Theme set by default
Mms.apk mod(Enter key enabled by default)
Mini LatinIME(only 10 MB)
Sony Walkman Player
Nova Launcher. Removed Trebuchet
Added Adrenaline Engine v4.4
Default Filemanager.apk added
Apollo Launcher is still there.
Gapps Not included
BUGS
Same as Jellaxy
If the screen shows divided in 3 parts after the bootanimation during first boot then you can reboot once to get rid of it.[/COLOR]
The Network Signal/Range may not come for a long time, it's just a problem on first boot, if it takes too long activate Airplane mode and then deactivate it.
Flashing Procedure:-
Boot to CWM Recovery.
Wipe Data/Factory Reset.
Wipe Cache.
Wipe Dalvik Cache.
Under Mounts And Storage, Format /System
Flash ROM.

OOM Priority Charger for Ubuntu_v1:-

NOTE:-
After flashing OOM Priority Charger,when the phone boots then after the bootanimation you will see a pop-up like "Android is Upgrading,Optimizing Apps"
Don't Worry the pop-up shows that OOM is active now.
let it optimize all the apps and then the phone will boot.
Fixes/Small Updates:-
Adrenaline Engine 4.4 Fix
After flashing the ROM you will see that only the /System part(That is the scripts) of Adrenaline Engine got flashed and that the /data part didn't get flashed.
so this Fix flashes the /data part of Adrenaline Engine v4.4

Don't wipe anything AFTER flashing the zip file.
Wipe data,wipe cache,wipe dalvik cache and format /system partition But remember to wipe these things before Flashing zip file NOT after that.
Which CWM recovery you have?
use CWM Recovery 5 NOT 4
The first boot takes a long time so please wait for sometime,The ROM will boot.I have tested it out myself before uploading

Okay it booted up but so lag cannot multitask apps and everything force closing
Why name rom ubuntu? it has no features of ubuntu theme not like ubuntu

Actually No one else has problems of Force Closing Apps
Its just you who reported this back.
and hey if you wanna have Multitasking then CM10 is not the ROM for you as CM10(Jellybean) eats a lot of RAM.
The Theme is in beta Phase now.
let it be complete then it will be look like Ubuntu.
And You want Ubuntu features on android then sorry no ROM can satisfy that need.
I named the ROM Ubuntu since the Theme has Ubuntu feel(The Dock,The notification panel)
The ROM is made today.
with the updates it will become better.
if you want to use then use otherwise don't.

Hey, hey!
It's not important what the name is. I can name it Dog ROM and have cat wallpapers in there. Is it really as important? Really, not everyone is a second Chainfire or Rebellos to create great stuff just like that, but everyone started from something.
So there is no need to argue

Sorry for rude behavior
Here feedback,
The rom is lagging so no multitasking because one app closes
and ext4 with s2e not working.

About the lagging part,download the Adrenaline Engine fix from second post
and also the OOM priority charger and flash them.
I am adding some hints and tips to increase performance.
For App2Sd use the script from this link:-

But make a CWM nandroid backup before flashing different Scripts.

I will download and give a full report soon.

My Review
What I like about this Rom:
- Based on 4.1.2
- Solid, no bugs or whatnot's
- Walkman Music
What I don't like:
- Mostly it's only a theme. ( Rather port the theme onto the System Ui and Framework-res.)
- Not really faster than normal 4.1.2
- Lockscreen not changed
- Not even a bootanimation?
Bugs
- Theme has some bugs in Statusbar, Launcher and camera (Some blue stuff instead of orange.)
- Two File Browsers
- Some Icons are grey scale others have color.
So, a good start, might want to edit a bit more on the next one. Also try to make your thread more appealing it puts people off.

Yea next update will be better.
might try a different theme.
also will add some mods.
Will remove the CMFilemanager.apk as it eats more Ram.
Will add a new bootanimation.
Icons greyscale is the Theme problem(will get it solved)
Will take help from Robin to change lockscreen.
More things will follow.

I actually recommend you to use bieltv3 latest release as base, because the base you used had too much flickering, which is solved in bieltv3 release, cheers.

Resolution problem after porting
Respected dev I am getting an Resolution problem after porting your rom to MI-535
My phones default lcd density is 240 when i flash the rom it get flashed and then go to booting section normally but in the booting section boot animation is showing very large and phone get into a boot loop... Please if there any solution....

Try setting density in build.prop.... in rom zip itself... den flash it....
