Refer to this thread/post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=67256247&postcount=41
I'm assuming your phone was bought in the Middle East because my build number was the same as yours when I first booted it.
I am using the UL10 and I was also running the same firmware as yours (C433B180) and am now running C185B320 on Android 6.0
Huawei's site lists it as firmware for the UL00 but technically the UL10 and UL00 have the same hardware other than the NAND (as the UL10 has 64GB and the UL00 only has 16GB)
Hi guys, I just saw that India posted the official honor 5X KIW-L22 firmware for Android 6.0 / EMUI 4.0.
http://www.hihonor.com/in/support/details/?DOC_ID=83346
I expect you will see the other regions upload their firmware #soon.

Well thanks @wimbet ! as i'm on beta i got it upgraded with 129Mb and well looking for FP patched in next CM 13.1 @crpalmer
Arobase40 said:
Thanks wimbet for the Indian users but would you mind asking the European developers what they are doing for the KIW-L21 devices whether for the monthly Lollipop Android Security patches or eventually for the MM firmware ?
I guess the Egyptian KII-L21 GR5 users also need a downgrade firmware from MM to Lollipop...
Finally, when do you think we'll be able to download latest kernel source code with latest Android security patches ???

I don't know the EU schedule for KIW-L21, but the US version KIW-L24 will get Android M #soon. I would expect that all the regions get it around the same time - there are just some small differences to allow for testing and verification. If regular updates are important to you, then I encourage you to keep sharing your feedback on the official Hihonor channels like the Honor Global Facebook page. Honor does listen to its customers and your feedback is very important.
For the US KIW-L24, I will make sure to request the latest kernel source and downgrade packages are uploaded to the official Hihonor.com support pages as soon as they are available.
Arobase40 said:
Problem is that I don't and won't never ever use any social apps or social website so is there any other way to contact them and leave feedbacks ?
I don't ever know which and where is my official EU Hihonor website as when I placed a phone call to Honor in France my call was redirected to somewhere else (don't know where) and they simply say : they don't know whatever the questions... ^^

Here is the official Hihonor support site for France that has contact info - http://www.hihonor.com/fr/support/#contactus
The global Hihonor site will get a redesign soon that makes it much easier to find and select your regional site.

I think it's NOT yet ready and not finalized.
I have had a very quick glance at the discussions and I haven't seen anyone telling it's ready for a rollout. But I probably miss something...
I guess it will come soon...
I'll watch again at it when I have more time.

Stock Roms are phone version specific. If phone version is L-21 you cannot use L-22/L-24 or any other Stock update/rom.
Hope it helps.
Thank you

Hi, its not posible and it can be harmful to install a different version, for installing without root you can do it with the FIrmware Finder for Huawei through your version and using a web proxy

There are 3 methods:
1.- Through Root with TWRP (you need Unlocked bootloader)
2.- Using HiSuite (you will need Huawei Updater Tool 2.0)
3.- Using your phones OTA update with Firmware Finder for Huawei (a playstore app)

Hi mark332, im following the update guide u gave us but for some reason, even it detects the version BAC-L03C212B140CUSTC212D001 with its 628 Mbs (my phone is a BAC-L03) after update it stays the same it appears only gives patches but doesnt update to Android 8, is there anything i might not be doing?
Is it possible to use these update files for updating the Huawei Nova 2 (PIC-LX9)?

Any chance you can provide a step-by-step guide for the third method? I don't want to unlock my bootloader and the second method didn't work for me. As for the third method I did try the mention app, but all it did was download the update file on the device and that's it. It doesn't install the update and the phone doesn't detect it either. I tried from the recovery through internal memory and an SD card but still it didn't detect it.
I would appreciate the help.
