KNOWN ISSUES: THIS IS FOR THE CRT VERSION ONLY!!! There is an issue when turning off the screen and then turning it back on right away(You'll get a black screen). YOU MUST GO INTO GHARMONY SETTINGS AND SET THE TRANSITIONS TO FAST. After doing this, when you turn off the screen wait about 5 seconds and then turn the screen back on.

The Rom needs to be loaded before flashing the GAPPS. In Clockwork, go to mounts and storage>format system and format data. Then wipe data/factory reset. Then reflash the Rom

give it some time. first boot it slow.. i was thinking same but after sometime it went to honeycomb boot screen . then again i thought i got stuck in boot loop. so i let it take its time and wolla successfully flashed. just flashed it so i will give my feed back after playing with it.....

Just finished installing both files, no issues. I'm accustomed to clearing all data before and after each installation, so didn't have any issues. I made a quik vid of my experience:

A few things:
1) Coming from VEGan 5.1.1, it's rather sluggish. Even after about 6 reboots.
2) The camera takes pics much quicker than VEGan, I like it.
3) didn't come with a filemanager :-(
4) Would not play Samurai 2. Since i feel its a benchmark of how well the ROM works, it a downer for me.
5) Market works and was able to download File Manager

Whats up playa? Glad to see you over here and that you're not homeless. I love my G-Tab so I would say yes, you made a good choice. Looking forward to see what kind of apps you come up with.

Great! Yet another rom to try out I'll be waiting for screenies before I try it out. Just a question nims11, does this rom have the 3rd party facebook login problems like the other cm7 based roms? Since this is a problem to a Facebook freak like me, only Jusada's roms don't have this problem.

Hey nims. I'm facing issues... I restored from cwm5. And it says sd-ext format fail. So I ignored it and rebooted my phone. Roms looking great but I'm having Market force close issues... Isit releated to the sd-ext issue?

i worked for both base but I formatted my pc by mistake by mini tool
though i recoverd many data but not all

Thanks a lot nims11 for your efforts! Does this drain battery? Since the original 7.2 by Axel003 was not friendly with my battery. Hence the question.

So glad to see your work again bro. And even better on something completely original, witch is more than can be said for most stuff coming out at the minute. Look forward to flashing when my current projects are finished. It will probably be the last rom I flash on my phone.

You might want to think about some alt links. Almost every link that multidownload uses has locked itself down so that only the uploader can download it. I think more companies are going to do the same thing.

Was going to jump to ICS. Had decided on THS. This gives me pause...

I get a hot reboot when I click on the setting to change the default input method? Any idea on working around so I can change to swype?
Edit: I also get a hot reboot when trying to change my input from the ime switcher in notification bar

I get a hot reboot when I click on the setting to change the default input method? Any idea on working around so I can change to swype?

Install swype, reboot. Freeze latinime.apk, reboot, swype should be default now.

Great rom. Smooth and fast. The extra features are awesome and well done. But, I am getting the worse gps signal of any rom I have tried. I tried reflashing, changing gps conf, and modems. I still can't even get a fair signal out of it. Sigh, I want this rom but need gps.

Try using h3llstorms GPS fix, that worked for me. Also I flashed my modem to kg3 and I get pretty good GPS signal. If all else fails try using GPS AIDS that program is magic

Thank you for the help. I tried the h3llstorm fix an it did improve it a little. I decided to try a complete wipe (factory reset, data,dalvic, and a system format) reflashed and the gps was much better. I also applied my favorite gps fix from "superstar29". I have no idea where this fix originally came from. It was posted as a zip file on another rom thread. Anyways, all is wonderful again. Great looking rom. Test driving begins.

EDIT: I tested it and unfortunately my Market crashed upon launching and my Browser is unable to download files (it also crashes when prompted to download a file).

Sorry for that is the download manager ill upload I fixed version as soon as I can. I think ill change to ZduneX25 layout instead of the one it has right now. I've also got to build cm7 from sources yesterday but haven't had the time to test. Ill try my best to test today. Also testing v6 supercharger works great, ill include it too

Edit: for now you can use the layout patches I have attached. That will fix market and downloading from browser.
First flash the undo patch attached, reboot phone, then flash the patch attached.

That fixed my problems. But I'm getting quite a bit of battery drain. My phone would wake up at random intervals consistently as shown by the battery graph. I dropped 40 percent in 4 hours of no screen usage (I was sleeping).
Later, I noticed that some processes were crashing and force closing in the background with the random vibrations. Lemme try cm7 ans see if its my apps or this rom.

hmm i don't have those problems, battery drain yes quite some but the rest not at all and i've been using the ROM for over a month now. I have had those random wake ups with cm9 and cm10 but i found it was app related, make sure to restore apps without data and fix permissions if u want. I'll make some tests tonight.

It was something with me. I switched over to CM7 with the new kernel and was getting weird bugs. Sometimes the power button would screw up and a tap would register as a long press and sometimes it wouldn't work and processed would be force closing in the background. It happened rarely but the battery was still a lot worse than my experience on ICS/JB. Back to them now
I need to get that new iPhone soon.
