Sleep/Standby Battery Drain

I have seen many posts about the poor battery life on the ADAM when in heavy/normal use. I have seen very bad battery drain just in standby/sleep on all the roms I have tested (Stock Newest build, edenx, and now CM7). SetCpu currently doesn't support profiles but I wonder if the processor still runs heavily even when in standby.
I should note that i usually turn off WIFI when not in use and also background data sync.
Pixel Qi Wifi.
As usual, after unplugging the device in the morning and not touching it for 8+ hours, it has about 50% battery left and battery history shows Phone Standby using all the battery. I guess these quirks will not be resolved until Honeycomb if ever.
Which do you mean "cell standby" or "phone idle"? I have the same model and the battery still drains more than expect overnight, but notas much as 50%. Did you apply a fix to remove cell standby?
Phone idle is what is reported. Here is a more specific example: on battery power for 10 hours today in standby with wifi off and background sync off and the battey is down to 55%. This is not a huge problem but I dont like to leave it on the charger constantly when not in use.
Kill the "phone Idle" <- that's really draining and if you don't use SIP on a WiFi only you can de-install phone and phoneprovider
2 other things you could try,
Install from the market:
"autokiller memory optimizer" and
"Juice defender"
They seem to help for me.
or use BEAST ROM 2.2. My ADAM batterie status is after 23 hours on 36%.

Does battery drain faster below a certain %?

This is odd. On idle, it took nearly 3 hours to go from 62% to 61% which I'm very happy with. After that it started going down a bit quicker. Waking up after 7 and a half hours, the battery had gone from 49% to 42%, so about 1% per hour. While that's not so bad, why would it start to go down fast? Since it took nearly 3 hours to move 1%, I'd have thought it should be at about 46 or 47% after waking up. Is there a % threshold where the battery drains quicker?
Current uptime, mostly from idle, and power saving mode from 50%.

maybe this battery drain problem started randomly on you device after 61% ...
but you do not have this wifi sharing or manager app that drain battery..this is strange..maybe your battery needs to be calibrated

Thanks for your reply. Where do I find the battery calibration setting? I can only find calibration for gyrosensor and horizontal.

Do you have any apps running at all? Mine is going from 100% to 10% in ~7-8 hours with mid usage :-(

High battery drain from screen usage when running latest version of Paranoid Android

Hi all, I realized my battery drains really quickly when my screen is on(100% - 35% with 11h on battery, with only 2h 46mins of screen on time), 46% of battery consumption. Also, is it normal for the battery to reduce 2% every hour when 3G is on without using it ?. Any suggestions on how to get the most battery life? (Eg. Any particular Kernel etc.)
Battery drain could be due to a number of things, I don't use PA so I can't attest to battery performance on it.
As to the drain from 3G I can't say, I only use LTE or WiFi, but drain also depends on your signal strength. When your signal is low or no bars it seems to drain more.

Device Idle... normal?

I'm trying to get the best battery consumption and my battery stats are saying Device Idle 17% over 15 hours. Does that sound right?

Battery drain

HI,
I think my battery have to be replaced. Accubattery says it's capacity is at 2800 mah only right now.
But I also saw the battery drain is quite large especially when screen is off. 85% of screen off time is under deep sleep but I see that the drain is still at 2% per hour (about 100ma)
I observe a battery level drop of about 20% overnight.
I'm running LineageOS 18.1 + Gapps. at the moment. I don't use fancy apps, just standard gapps, Gmail, Maps.
So my question is : Is this level of drain normal for the device ? If not what could I try to solve this problem ?
I disabled the digital wellbeing app and now off screen drain is much lower.
