[Q] Remote Control question. - Atrix 4G General

Hey,
Is there a way to manually start the remote control receiver on the Atrix. I'd like to use the remote control that comes with the entertainment center when the phone is in the car dock. Also, there a way to manually start the entertainment center app. Thanks.

Pocket Pc Media Control

This application runs in background of your pc,and using the client like a windows mediaplayer on pocket pc you can control your Windows Mediaplayer remotely with mp3's,divx,etc..!
I find it really great, and it is free.

API for HTC

I would like to develop a custom application to control HTC Audio Manager with my steering wheel playback controls in my car. I can receive button events via bluetooth, but I need to forward them via my application to Audio Manager like home screen plugin.
Does anybody know how HTC home screen plugin "talks" to AM to get information about tracks and change playback options? Maybe there is a good api hook for Windows CE to spy on these calls?

Last.fm Desktop app and Android Remote

Has anybody thought about creating an Android app that would allow the user to control their desktop Last.fm application remotely via wi-fi? I know the obvious question, why not just use the android last.fm app on your phone? I have wireless speakers connected to my computer throughout my house and I would like to be able to control Last.fm through my phone. Similar apps exist for Songbird (SongbirdRemote) and Spotify(Remotify), just wondering why there isn't one for Last.fm.
PS - I would be willing to help test such an app if anyone knows how to create it. I'm using a Motorola Droid and Linux Ubuntu 10.04.
up. anybody have more elegant solution than RDP into desktop? or maybe audio re-direct from the phone to server over wifi?
I use fm transmitter in the car, and going to buy bluetooth receiver for home audio. Can use phone app for last.fm control then.

Use Wiimote as mouse controller (car dock)???

Is there a program that can turn a wiimote into a mouselike controller?? I like the ergonomics of the remote as a potential car remote for my evo.. I want to be able to control either the stock music app or Mixzing which has a built in EQ (volume, skip, menu selections).
The wiimote emulator control is awesomeness, but this mouselike functionality would really allow the wiimote to be used under two distinct types of activities and might add some more profit for the developer who kicks off the first release..
Thanks!!!

Media control over bluetooth

I want to develope ( or manipulate if available an open source) media player for android with the bluetooth avrcp profile feature support, so that playing commands can be sent from another bluetooth enabled cell phone. When I pair such a phone to my laptop via bluetooth, several services are displayed such as: object push, desktop control, mouse and media player, that is my aim to have the media player service when it is connected to android mobile. But the only available service it displays after pairing is the object push. What is wrong? Is avrcp the correct profile to work with? How to enable it? And how to access the controlling commands in my application? If not, then what is the alternative? My phone type is nexus one with rooted android2.2.1 stock rom.
Thanks
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
No idea? How to write a program to catch instructions via bluetooth then?
