^^^^ Agreed. $400 plus shipping is the MOST I would pay for it IF it was in mint condition with not a single scratch on it i.e would pass for new with original box and accessories. Anything more than that would be highway robbery.

I'm willing to let mine go for 400! No scratches on the screen, a few nicks on the case though. Never had the dust under the screen problem. I could even be talked down lower if persuaded, I just really want 3G!

I bought my phone from Google back in January and there is dust under the screen. I am pretty sure I can get the phone exchanged under warranty. But my question is, will HTC Canada let me exchange it for the one with the 850 band?

Seems obvious, yeah...but you have no idea how many people don't know that they all come this way. People want convenience.
You can even put in the description...
"if you want, I can unlock the bootloader and root the device prior to shipping"

It will just be more convenient if they just send me a replacement with the 850 band. Is there a support number in Canada that I can call? I actually bought the phone in Hong Kong during my visit there in January. I can get HTC ship it to Canada now since it's officially sold in Canada, right?

If anyone is feeling a little desperate, I will buy your T-Mobile version right now for $300 shipped. I know it's low but the upside is that you'll get the money asap and have a AT&T Nexus One in hand by the end of this week if you're quick about it.

I don't think it's being shipped from Canada. I'm pretty sure it's being shipped in from the states, otherwise they wouldn't use DHL International shipping.

Just ordered mine! Looks like the wife gets my old ancient N1 tomorrow.

Well my Tilt 2 will go on ebay to make up for the 529 + Tax that I just shelled out to get the ATT 3G version that went live today.
Can't wait to play around with it when it gets here.
PS: overnight shipping is thrown in for free from the google site.

Figured id post this here and possibly link to the G2 forum. Ive had my N1 for about 5 months and still have the box, paperwork, 2 cases, extra screen protectors, headphones, data cable, pouch, and an 8 gig class 6 sd card. Was really looking into getting a G2 and was wondering if anyone might be interested in a trade and if so ill cover the shipping charges being as i get a deal on shipping through my wifes place of work. Radio shack pays almost 200 for n1's... bad trade imo... n1 = even trade for g2 because n1 you cant get new unles your registered dev.

according to reports it will have a locked bootloader. not sure I'll be getting it at all - might as well wait another couple of months for the next nexus.

Oh yes, been waiting for it. It was either the G2X or the sensation. I'm going with the Sensation.
It's almost like the MT4G, except dual core and a bigger screen. But it's all good. I can't wait!

I recently got my MT4G and wont be getting this...Guess I will wait for the Quad-Core android devices in 2013!
This phone should be good enough till then, or I can buy one from ebay and put it on the contract I have and sell the MT4G.

How can you guys manage to pay for phones like that? I mean, the earliest you could have gotten the mt4g was like what, 7 months ago? Do you pay full price for them or trade in your current phones or something?

These guys are trillionaires they can get things quickly, I wish I was so lucky to get a new phone that often . But I like my MT4G and I can always put Sense 3.0 or 3D on this thing

not true, I upgraded to the samsung vibrant back in july after it came out, then the mt4g dropped and so i bought it full price, which was like $400 and then sold my vibrant for $350 on ebay, so out of pocket it costed $50 for the "upgrade", so not trillionaires, just smart shoppers lol

true, if you keep a phone in great condition you can get a good resale value. as for me, I upgraded my sidekick 08 to the mytouch 4g and it cost me around $200 and Im keeping it as mint as possible

Yeah its pretty easy to sell a phone on Craigslist or eBay for a good amount then go purchase a new one at full retail.

I was only joking, i've been doing that with old phones when i see something new. Went from Instinct-->SK09-->G1-->MT3GS-->MT4G
But I had to get a contract to get the cheaper price, so now i have to keep this and cant sell it

Like i said, I work for an indirect dealer. I have my tricks, but get 3 or so phones on New contract price over a yeat

Guys, DO NOT GET THE SENSATION, get the g2x instead the sensation has a arm a8 processor (even though it's clocked at 1.2ghz), compared to the g2x's arm a9(clocked at at 1ghz), so it's actually a better processor, regardless of all the other specs.

So I am selling my Evo and jumping to the 3d thanks to Sprint granting me an early upgrade. I just wanted to get some opinions from you guys if my price on CL is fair or not, I am asking $250. Honestly, the phone looks brand new. There is no cosmetic damage whatsoever. Been having a hard time pushing it on CL though and was hoping to order the Evo3d early tomorrow morning.

I guess I will see what happens, worst case scenario I will. Just really wanted to order it early tomorrow online so I know I will have one. If not I am sure I could sell it by friday, pretty firm on the 250 but worst case I would probably go to 200.

HD2 inquiries

I have a few questions. Where can I get an HD2 for a good price? It seems like no matter where I look, it's still selling for $300. Since it's a GSM phone, can I use it with AT&T by unlocking it? I have a tilt 2 but I'd really like to try this phone out, that's why I'm asking and this will definitely be a step up for me.

You can definitely pick one up for lower than 300$. If I were you I would look on craigslist in your area or even eBay. The prices of a new hd2 should be around the 250 mark maybe a little lower. You can also unlock the hd2 so you can use it with at&t. If you want a hd2 that will work with at&t 3g look for a Telstra hd2 (9193) that work great but that maybe around the 275$ mark.

I brought mine on ebay for $120. Sniped it at the last second. Normally though I've seen them sell on there about or under $175 even. You just have to wait really. Look at an odd time if you can like on a Tuesday morning bout 2am. Lol. Not a lot of people are up then bidding so you might have better luck. Plus a lot of people don't know for your best price you really should end an auction on a weekend like late Sunday when people are most likely to be online.

common man....they are all over Craigslist for $150 **mint condition** infact i am getting one today.... for a friend !!

Not real sure where you live but here in Maryland they're far and few in-between on Craigslist. But it does separate into cities so the sellers by you won't show up for me. :-(
