"Is this Nightly?"
Yes? When I have time to compile again. This was hard enough
"Does this have espresso protection?"
"Bring on the lulz"
"Can we have lulz in this thread?"
"Do as much as you want, just keep it moderate."
"Can I Have chips and salsa too?"
"Nope. NO SOUP FOR YOU! "
"Why does it lag for a sec when waking the device?"
"Because, I Added a feature to lock the cpu, What it does is lock the lowest frequency possible when screen is off. "

Team ROU - Aiming to bring a simple, yet elegant UI to Android
*Thanks for all the developer interest guys We found the skilled team we needed. Look forward to the Launcher coming soon!*

The launcher is based off of cryshop's UI from March and has been updated quite a lot since then. Here is our latest concept video
You can follow us on our Twitter for the latest updates.
You might think 'oh hey another cool concept but its probably gonna stay at that' BUT, we are IN development and in early alpha stages with a working launcher. Here are some alpha build screenshots:
We are doing our best to bring it to you as soon as possible and with hopefully more developers interest(get experienced developers to contact us!), we hope to do exactly that. Stay tuned for more updates on the launcher and other apps we have in mind.
ROU Launcher Release Information:
Closed Beta Test: Late November
Market Release: Early/Mid December
There will be a paid version but also a free version as well. The paid version will have all the widgets as shown in the video and other extra features. Stay tuned.
Also, we appreciate the great interest for the launcher but please DO NOT contact us about Beta testing yet as November is a while away and we will be sure to post for applications for the closed Beta testing when November comes. Thanks.
Update on 10.14.11:

nice find man, got me really pumped, that things STILL can get better for our old device, but maybe I shouldn't be pumped since maybe there's nothing to gain for us.
Android really is a piece of **** im surprised it even functions at all. Next device will be a Windows Phone, this by far is the smoothest interaction i've ever experienced with a smart phone. Hopefully more apps will be available.

Well, i will say it:
Dude, its been discussed waaaaaaaaaay too much already. These libs are useless to us right now because they are for a 3.x linux kernel and all we have right now is a 2.6.x kernel. Use the search function next time.
What, sources are posted since 04/19/12, and none of the lazy developpers made ICS for Atrix, what a shame !!! *
* This is obviously sarcastic.
As far as I know, faux is working on a new kernel for us.
Followed Linux Kernel stuff for tracking down a bug and noticed that android stuff gets merged into mainline bit by bit, so I guess we may expect some progress there.
I think it's about time someone opens a new thread stating (with great shock and anger and disbelief) how Motorola decided to drop the ICS upgrade for the Atrix.
*Ate his popcorn, grabs some more*
Too bad I thought it would be funnier.

Aokp Mr1 with devil Kernel Discussion and Support

Index:

How aokp began
What is AOKP?
AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.
We fork the source code of Android that Google puts out in the open with every major version release, and we then add the magical unicorn bytes (read: we add some of the coolest features that are both useful and make your ROM awesome).
With AOKP, you can generally do a lot more with your device than what you could do with the original firmware that came installed on it.
Why AOKP ?[/SIZE]
We were waiting for when you’d ask this.
There are a variety of reasons why a hilly billy Android user, on a bright sunny day, would suddenly start using AOKP and loving it.
For one, AOKP is lightweight. Most OEMs provide a heavy UI layer over Android and have loads of bloatware (i.e. apps that not everyone use every day, but you cannot remove because they’re “baked in” by default). Since AOKP is built upon vanilla Android source, it has neither of the above.
Also AOKP has features that you will not find on your stock firmware. You can have a multitude of toggles to quickly flip a lot of your phone’s settings right at your fingertips, or you can launch apps quickly from any screen using our Ribbons.
You can change almost each and every aspect of the OS, from its looks to the way it functions, with total freedom. And did we tell you, AOKP helps you make tacos?
AOKP Release Versioning
We have two different kinds of builds/releases - Nightlies, and Milestones.
Nightlies: every 3 days, of the latest code committed (may contain goops of bugs).
Milestones: Most stable builds, usually released once a month
Downloads:
Well were slowly moving everything over to my mediafire folder so just hold your horses
History
AOKP started in November 2011.
We’ve been going strong ever since.
