multi touch is not sensitive at all because we don't have one. what we have is pinch to zoom capabilities. legend does not have true multi touch support.

Well, it has at least _some_ multitouch support. I can tell by trying Ethereal Dialpad with the nightsky skin. It clearly registers when I touch the screen with two fingers, although it is very far from perfect, and it's absolutely worthless when the fingers are close to each other or when you are moving them (some movements are fine, but sometimes it goes completely wrong, try it yourself to see what i mean).
Maybe there's better program to visualize multitouch, but I haven't seen any
EDIT: there are several program on the market that test multitouch, installing now (-:

they have really improved the power button on DHD over the Desire...Ive had my Desire button replaced already...because its not flushed and the design means that it protrudes a little out from the body slightly, feels flimsy after a few months...DHD feels much better, I think its because of the internal design...
to open screen you can use tap tap app and to close it use screen off app. in this way you can protect your power button.
Yea I used that tap tap app just brush ya finger over sensor on the top right hand corner and it works really like it personally

Hmm, I haven't used this before, but I'm liking the sound of it. There are quite a lot of apps that don't work yet on Gingerbread, I don't know of any alternatives, but it's likely the developer will eventually get an update out for Gingerbread devices
I have no problem with my power button being too flush. It works fine how it is
Hi I found 2 apps worth mentioning
1 AnyUnLock
2 ScreenOff
I use AnyLock my self to unlock the screen. Using Volum Up/Down buttons. Better than Power button I guess

Hey, i like AnyUnlock, but it seams to kill my security pattern, is there any program that lets you use the volume keys, AND makes you do your pattern?
Tap Tap App, is good, but it reduces power life
Is there anything else on the market?

The problem with tap tap app you comsume battery quickly since sensor is on all the time. no?
Does anyone have a flashable package that increases the sensitivity of the touchscreen?
Or would anyone be able to give me a quick rundown on how to adjust it?
I know there were a few values floating around a while back.
Thx in advance.
There is an app in the market, something like galaxy $ screen tuner, tho I can't remember its exact name

Anyone recommend settings with this app. ??

I've been using gingerbread keyboard and smart keyboard pro and both react the same to my texting. I don't use swype.
I use since day one I got the SGS in june and can't operate the phone without. Superfine is good for me, but you can fiddle a bit to find settings that suit you. Too bad that pernament fix ain't possible yet.

Hi everyone,
I just preordered my nexus 7, but was wondering if out comes with Swype. I'm pretty sure it doesn't, but just wanted to check. If it isn't already there, can someone check to see if the free beta works?
I know the Toshiba excite 7.7 has Swype, so maybe out would be possible to rip it from there? I love this keyboard, looking for solutions, thanks

That's great. I used to have an Acer A100 and it didn't work with it, I'm guessing the resolution was incompatible.
Now we just have to figure out how to keep Swype on there after the beta days are over...
The beta now supports all resolutions. Using it right now on my Kindle Fire.
Sent from my Amazon Kindle Fire using xda premium
yes as pointed out before the new beta supports all screen sizes and resolutions....got it working on my hp touchpad before selling it, so swype just need to update their app to support jellybean
it worked good on kindle fire not the greatest but it worked. I just hope it works better on the nexus 7 then it did on the kindlefire

I agree. I get frustrated with it on the kf and often flext9 instead. But on my phone, Swype is awesome.
I may try the new monk keyboard as well...it is weird, but i think it will be lighting fast once you get over the learning curve.

Swiftkey?
Just wondering if anyone had tried Swiftkey 3 on this device and if it works well/even supported? And also do you prefer it over Swype (I currently use this)

I have both keyboards, and much prefer Swype. I find it to be much faster since your not going key by key, but rather creating whole words. There is a slight learning curve for Swype, but as long as you give it a chance for a few days, you'd probably get used to it. The latest beta really makes it useable, although I only use Swype in portrait mode. Fyi - I have a hardware keyboard on my phone, so if I enter landscape mode, it's probably less work for me just to flip open the keypad and get my typing done. I tried Swyping in landscape mode yesterday and found it quite awkward, maybe I'm just not used to it.

Thanks for the reply! I will probably try Swype first because its input method is just amazing! But who knows how well it will work on a tablet.
Swift key and swype beta and thumb keyboard all are compatible and work great with the N7.
I change it up every so often, they are all good. Stock jelly keyboard is also real good too...

The million-dollar question is, does it recognize the tablet-ness and give you the resizeable keyboard button? Or does it give you the phone version?

Hi guys,
I've just search how to increase touchscreen sensitivity and found this.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...Nob3A0YXBwcy50b3VjaHNjcmVlbmJvb3N0ZXIuY29tIl0.
Even this is for sgs it works on our device tested by me just put the sensitivy of app for max!
Now the touch screen is more responsive.
Good app

What problem?¨Just put the sensitivity max. in the app.
Works for me on ics and I need that because on ics the sensitivity is too bad
And also tap apply changes and start service on boot.

Yeah I know that but It's kind of calibrate.
On ics normally I need tap every icons more than two times when it recognize my touch, with this app only one tap is enough.

yes touch is (more or less) good on gingerbread. but this app seems to change nothing in any way.
The sensitivity did improved, perhaps the changes are not gradual to be distinguished ..if we there's an app that can measure screen sensitivity level then we'll see

i think Z-Device test can do that, i recall one time i used an app for moving density (it was 140 default or 160 and i moved up to 200dpi) and the screen had bigger resolution but things wouldn't fit in the screen...180 i think is the best for our gt540
Ya I tried it too, but on didn't notice any change
