Hi!
I'm new here.
I was installed the MS2Ginger 3.0 to my Milestone 2, and it looks good, but the camera picture is flipped...
Can you help me, how can I change it to normal?
Thank you for your answer!

Look motodoido's answer in the dev section... Patch required, the link is there.

Hello.
I've been working with my wonderful Eclair Defy for some months but now I would like to start "playing" with MIUI and the recent OEM 2.2.2 177 Froyo.
Until now I've been using this recovery "[Release] Clockwork MOD recovery for Moto Defy [Updated 2010-12-18 04:08 am CST]" and I found it was really affrodable.
But for switching from Froyo to MIUI I think I need a more recent version.
In a XDA Defy development forum search I've found this results.
What is the bootmenu/recovery up to date and safe for Defy?
I do not need compatibility to CM7 at the moment, but I need it for MIUI and Froyo.
And by the way, wich is the best way from MIUI to Foryo 2.2.2? Full oem Froyo sbf or Nandroid backup, or more Nandroid backup + fixed sbf??
Thanks in advance for your kind reply.
Hi!
I have the same question to ask...right now I'm using bootloader 2.0 and ICS recovery 5.6.6 and I would like to change bootloader version because the resolution doors not permit to select CPU settings!
I would like to install CMW too!

Here is the two libs to put in the /system/lib/hw directory.
In the zip file, I've added the lights.umts_milestone2.so
I hope to see the CM 7.1 last release soon on our MS 2 !

Ok nice,
Now can someone post an "How to port CM from Defy to MS"
It could give Endless7 the time to get back is phone.
Can someone possibly link me to the updated droid x miui gingerbread rom for gingerbread because every page i go to says it was changed to a new thread but i can't find it. Also i can't decide which rom i should switch to miui or liberty gingerbread and was wondering if you guys had any suggestions. Thanks
You can find the latest Gingerbread MIUI rom here: http://rootzwiki.com/index.php?/topic/19646-MIUI.us-DefX---2012.4.5
MIUI is a great rom that shouldn't give you any problems.

Ok, I think the title is clear enough but, I'd like to know if there are any MIUI ROMs for the Motorola Defy Plus with a 2.3 (GB) Kernel. Thing is, I have Quarx's CM9 on Multiboot but I'd love to try ICS MIUI on it, but I understand I have to flash Froyo Kernel but don't know what would that do to my CM9 I'm so in love with.
I've searched all the threads on xda and the web but I haven't been able to find what I'm looking for.
Thanks!
Unfortunately Currently there is no miui build that works on gb kernel.

Thanks for the reply! Is there another rom that I should try? I don't really know about another interface for 4.0 but it would surely be great if there were one.
Edit: I have another question, is there a way to install a froyo kernel on multiboot so i can keep cm9 (GB) on my default boot? I already have multiboot but I'm not sure if flashing wiui, for example, will damage the other rom.
Look at the miui ics thread by sesme

Well as far as I know multi boot requires same kernel for the roms. I don't know if any recent development has changed it. You may check multi boot thread.

:Hey guys,
I'm in trouble with multiboot and tried some ways but failed. So I need your help!
My main system is MS2 2.3.4, BL6, GB kernel. And I want CM9 defyplus to be the 2nd system.
First I tried m11kkaa's multiboot v0.7 but couldn't launch CM9, it stunned with black screen. Then I found multiboot can't work on GB kernel after that. So I searched solution and found this View attachment multiboot_v0.5.5_fix.zip,it came from http://bbs.mfunz.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=408756, and could work on GB kernel. With this i could launch CM9 finally, but it came out another question, the encryption unsuccessful and couldn't go on.
After reading the changelog of m11kkaa's multiboot I thought maybe the v0.6.1 can work properly. So I tried to contact with the guy who did modification on it for help but failed.
I think the attachment maybe useful to m11kkaa for developing multiboot on gb kernel, but i cant reply his thread for i'm new.
Can someone help for letting m11kkaa know here maybe have the solution of multiboot with gb? I'm very thankful!
My defy plus is bl7.. So stock gb kernel.. And multiboot worked fine.. Just don't flash any kernel.. I didn't have any problem..

Actually i got touch with the guy from mfunz.com finally, and with his help i got a fixed v0.6.1, then i made it.
The only thing which different from my 1st try is when stunned as black screen i kept waiting, for about 3 or 5 Minutes the screen turned on at last. Then i got into desktop without encryption unsuccessful.
So maybe i should wait longer at the first try? maybe the fixed version is unnecessary?
Anyway, thanks for your reply. let me know the multiboot can work with gb kernel at least.
But i swear i saw m11kkaa'reply in his thread saying that it's not support for gb kernel.
And, what's mean of 'Greenbreadmod' in the changelog?
I used v0.6.1.. Not the fixed one.. I didn't have any problems.. Tried cm7 ms2ginger and cm9 on multiboot and all worked fine.. what image files are you using?? did you flash a kernel while installing ms2ginger??
