You can install it by copying the apps to your SD card and then installing them by using a file manager.

[Q] Is there a way to acces SD card.

Hi, is there a way to acces SD card dont using any apps from the market? I need to installed backed up apps and so on.
I just reinstalled my phone, and dont have any internet acces from phone, and dont have wireless, anybody?
EDIT: Got it working! Used HTC SYNC- Application Installer
PROBLEM SOLVED

no sd card

When i connect my phone to the PC (OS:win7) i doesn't show me the sd card drive, only phone one and i cant install any apps from there.Any help?
Well, you are mistaken. It is showing you the sdcard. I'm sure that you can't mount the phone's filesystem on the computer anyway.
And what do you mean you can't install any apps from there? Grab the apk you want to install, dump it on the SD card, and install it with an App Installer (found on the market) or with a decent file explorer (like 'Root Explorer' or 'AndExplorer').
Well i have redden that to install an app not from market you have to paste it on the sd card via usb cable but i think the sd card folder its not showing to me.When i connect the cable i cant even access the card from the phone. Can you tell me where i can find it?And sorry for bad English.
EDIT:I have fixed the problem.
Mind telling us how you solved the problem? o;

did you try the CM settings? there's an option that lets you choose where to install apps.
also, have you tried a different ROM?

I did , but no luck , now I will try to change the ROM
Thanks,
Yeah, try hyperdroid or something that supports an ext partition on your sdcard.
Go and delete smdl2tmp1.asec . From what I can tell, it could reside in 2 locations:
/sdcard/.android_secure – this is an invisible folder on your SD card, which you can access with any file manager, like ASTRO
/mnt/secure/asec/ – access to this folder requires root and a program like Root Explorer
thanks for help ,,
I changed sdcard from "transecond" to "SanDisk"
and every thing working well ,,,

Is it possible to install apps that you have put the .APK onto your SD card, onto the device? I am trying to install a program and it is trying to install on my SD and I want it to install onto the main device.

If you just want to move it to internal storage, then do that^. If you want to make it a system app, then place the .apk in /system/app using a root explorer, fix permissions in CWM and reboot.
Thank you so much for your help. I downloaded 'Apps 2 sd free', and it did the job.

[Q] Custom app installation path

Hi,
I own rooted Nexus 7 and would like to have the possibility of custom installation path for all apps. In other words, if I connect a usb stick to my nexus 7 using usb/otg cable and stickmount app, this additional storage appears in
/storage/sdcard0/usbStorage/sda1
I would like to install some of the apps directly into this folder (or a subfolder there). Is there a way to change the intall location of an app in Android?
What I tried:
- changing default installation path to SD card using adb (didn't work since this is obviously not an external SD card)
- some apps that are supposed to move arbitrary app tp SD card (didn't work for the same reason I guess)
Thanks for your help
