[Q] Cannot change files inpink screen Image folder-Please Help - Huawei Ideos X5 U8800

hi there
I have a issue with my phone U8800 X5...........
I can get in the Pink Screen and the recovery mode (Blue color) perfectly. but i am unable to change any file in the pink screen (for eg. i want to replace the boot.img or recovery.img) when i copy the new file to the pink screen image folder it gets copied but when i restart the phone and again get into pink screen, what i see is the original files sizes as before that means the file is been reseted with the original once.
Hence i am neigther able to install Clockworkmod Recovery nor can flash the boot.
My phone is stuck on the android boot logo and doesnt boot up. i tried official update but it fails on installing 2/2 step.
Please help.

What to do ?
You can't access pink screen, because it is locked by Huawei Clean up your memory card, put dload folder only.Start flashing with charger without battery
And why u say that?
I can Access Pink Screen (up+down+on)
But i look like there is nor recovery menu (up+on)
Only show huawei logo and looping boot
Misunderstanding

Unable to boot my acer A500 into recovery mode.

Right, so I just rooted my iconia using this method:
http://theunlockr.com/2012/09/17/how-to-root-the-acer-iconia-a500-tablet/
And then I used this method to install CWM Recovery on it:
http://theunlockr.com/2012/09/17/how-to-install-clockworkmod-recovery-on-the-acer-iconia-a500/
However, after I install the recovery image and hit Reboot into recovery, once it loads up to the initial Acer loading screen, the following text appears in the top left-hand corner:
Booting recovery kernel image
Recovery verified failed ...
Then it just stays on that screen until I hold the power button to turn it off.
Can anyone explain what I'm doing wrong? I'm just trying to install randomblame's version of JellyBean
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1737205
I'm currently running 4.0.3.
If any more info is needed, please ask. I could really use the help.
same problem exactly

Which is your model? 3G or 4G?
My suggestion that will help you is,
1) Flash a custom recovery TWRP/CMW, which can be flashed by renaming the zip to update.zip and flash from stock recovery
2) Then install the rom from recovery

I know this is old, but I tried the same today.
You just have to press the blue button on right bottom.
Also make sure that the update.zip in root has no capital letters. I used capital U in update.zip name. And it didn't recognize it.
Here's a video, where I saw the translation:
