If you are thinking about selling your transformer and dock then sell them separately! On eBay if you sell them together you will probably get around £360.
I sold them separately though and due to the lack of keyboard docks for sale in the UK I sold them for a total of £413, so I only lost £17 on what I originally paid which I was really pleased with
Just thought this might help some people who are considering selling
Thanks for the advice. Tempted to get the samsung....

Thanks for this. I am waiting to get both back from Asus RMA then want to get rid of them both.
How much did you get for them separately (£pad / £dock)
Cheers
I will do the same once I have my dock back from RMA

Tablet - £310
Dock - £103.46
Bare in mind though that if you do use eBay they really screw you over on the fees, 10%!
ok you probably saw my other thread where im panicing and my beloved TF got stolen. so now what? i think homeowners is paying it back($425).
so what do i buy now? just get one off ebay or should i wait for what Asus is releasing next?
basically i want the TF prime screen but the dedicated gps feature of the TF101.
We need you here. My vote is another TF101, but just because your presence in the forum is so uplifting and invigorating..
I would try to get a cheap ($250-$300) TF101 (16 GB) for now. I have seen the Prime screen and I was not all that impressed, other than the IPS+ for use outdoors. I rarely use mine outdoors, so I am not worried about it.
Your experience may differ, but that is what I would do.

If you don't need a tablet right away, don't mind the extra cost, and don't mind the risk of the shortages that have plagued all Asus transformer releases so far, I say wait for the TF700. The hi res, extra processing power and I would assume fixes for problems that are reported on the Prime I think make it worth the wait.
If you cannot wait or do not wanna spend the extra money, get another TF101, its still a great tablet and in my case had zero problems relating to ICS upgrade.

Yeah this one is 32gb my other was 16... and the serials are different. And this ebay listing started before mine was stolen
I bought a "NEW" tf300 Amazon. There was no static screen protector like i expected, but didn't notice any finger prints... the box was in a sealed plastic, but it was kinda a bad job....some seams were not connected...... so i register my TF for warranty purposes and found out the SN had already been registered?
Anyone seen this before? I have a ticket open with asus.
I will update when i hear back from ASUS

Asus will probably take a couple of days to answer. Send an e-mail to amazon and see what they say.
Wow, kinda crazy. GL with that, and keep us updated.
Rly interested in what Asus has to say, but it might be more of an Amazon issue.

I haven't heard back from ASUS yet, but i just decided to exchange it. Hopefully the next one i get will be a "NEW" one;-)
Not that this is the core of your issue, but the tabs come wrapped in a thin plastic wrap that has a map of the ports, connector, etc on it. I did not have any other type of screen protector come on it.

Good info, but it is creepy that his serial number was already registered!
If that is the case, then whomever he purchased it from just got it returned and sold it again as new. Very illegal to do without stating it as a refurbished unit.
Rob
I should have clarified that this was not amazon but a certified reseller from amazon with tons of positive feedback. Like a 4.8 out of 5.
Anyways they were more then happy to replace with a new one! I am paying for the shipping back. I know they really should, I will give them a chance to make right! There customer service has been great and very responsive.
After talking with them, it looks like they get them from another supplier, and then sell them, I'm guessing they didn't know it was used... if the next one I get is not "brand spanking new" I will get amazon involved!! I'll give an update the end of next week, when I receive it. They should get the return by Tuesday!

Hi all, I am looking for Asus Transformer Pad in India. I am not sure if this was available yet, but I saw some Indian users in the section. So, I think it was available and can any one post some details here?
Thank you!
EDIT:
I bought the new iPad 16gb+3g and I think it was worth for 36k and I already have One X, so I think it was a better tablet for me with a different OS.
Hi ...remember you from wp7 section of hd2 forums
Tf 300 Not launched in India..no estimated date too....got mine with a cousin from the US...bought at best buy..399 $ for tab and 149 $ for keyboard dock plus taxes...depending on the state in US..expect 8-9% tax...
You can save 50 $ if bought at microcenter store.
Great tab..it is not difficult to find a friend or relative who lives in US and is coming home next week
Well if you need tf201 (prime), it is available in India but is exorbitantly priced...rs 49,950 for tab plus dock ... if you get it from US, it will still be a 10k cheaper

Thanks for remembering me and thanks for the reply bro!
I don't have that choice, I don't have friends in US, but I have in Canada. But it wasn't yet released in Canada, even if it was released I have to pay some 20% extra in terms of tax. Checking with some dealers in Hyd and heard they have it, but need to confirm it.
hi dear, iam from hyderabad....i checked out with the asus dealers...none had it....if you get it, then pass over their details to me,... maybe i can get one for some friend or get some accessories

Sure bro! I am going to get it tonight, need to see it directly whether it was from US or India. Price was 27k for 32gb only wifi. The dealer is saying that there is another 32gb version with 3g aswell. I am unaware of that.
Yes..it seems the tf300 TG (3G) model seems to have been released in some parts...well seems like 3000 rupees more for the tab, but then if you can't get it from US...that is OK.

Today, I missed the chance to get one. Dealer said the stock isn't received, I don't have much details about that. I have to wait until morning. But, I am thinking about 16gb only wifi, cause it will cost me less. Any way it got a micro sd slot right? So I don't need to go for 32gb.

I think it was worth, cause it was cheap and best in hardware. How do u plan to import?
^^ My sister is coming home from USA in the second week of July. She will be getting it for me.
In any case, I am still not entirely decided which tablet to get. I have a budget of $800 and was planning on the Transformer Prime, but decided against it due the WiFi/GPS issues that it is plagued with. So considering the other Tegra 3 tablets namely the Transformer TF300 32GB + Dock, Acer Iconia A510 32GB and the Toshiba Excite 32GB
I think, among all the tablets TF300 is the best and cheapest. But I am not sure about build quality cause it was plasticy. Some one already using this one has to confirm

May be you can wait for infinity...but then with dock...it will cost a little more

Plastic is good...it helps in better wifi and GPS signals...textured back helps in good grip and no fingerprints ...some stupid fellows feel that the plastic flexes when you press hard...of course, else it would be brittle and break easily...the Tf 300 is amazing piece of hardware..
Also suggest to get the 32gb..costs only 20 $ more...the more memory the better especially when you want to play tetra 3 games ..good games take up around 500mb or more...still suggest getting also the dock...it is totally worth it for the extra battery, extra SD card, and full USB port..you can connect Ethernet adapter, mouse,Xbox or PS controllers, hard drives for your movies...and routine pen drives

Yeah, you are right. It seems more like a PC but in very portable and handy price. But in India with dock the device costs around 40k(28k + 11k). I am trying with my friend from UK. Thanks for your response bro!
I also use tf300.I am very happy with the performance.Only problem is sometimes it crashes.

update to latest firmware .29 if you haven't and then try these:
1. if you use chrome browser, uninstall it...use opera mobile or ics+ browser from market
if no use, then
2. try cold boot
still not happy?
3. last ...try hard reset

you are from bangalore...try some colleague or friend"s brother/sister in US...
i got mine 32gb with dock for total 33,000 rs (399 +149 + tax= 595 $)
Now I am currently living in Hyderabad. I checked with my friend in Canada, it's costing me 460$ just only for the tablet including the 15% tax in Canada. So, I decided to get it from local store. You said you are from Hyd right?
I think, I have to stop posting this kind of posts in the thread, cause some moderator will lock the thread otherwise.
^^ Where are you getting it locally? I am myself in Hyderabad and the only places online that that I seen the TF300 is on eBay.in for 40k+ price for pad + dock and that too the items would be shipping from US. Its really a sad price considering that the 64GB Transformer Prime + dock is available for 44~46k with Indian warranty

Not sure why so many are selling. That price buys you a TF201 or 300. I just paid $100 for mine with a nice case last week.
