Try the following...
Open odin and connect the usb cable into your computer (not into your phone)
Remove battery from your phone
Now Connect the other end of the cable to the phone
hold vol up + down+ power on and while holding insert the battery
or
hold vol up + home + power on and while holding insert the battery
or
hold vol down + home + power on and while holding insert the battery

try replacing the battery, my friend had also such a problem with his vibrant, we figured out that it was related to battery.

Indeed! When my phone has crashed due to oc. The battery goes into rapid drain. If it drains too far it will die completely.

I can make a jig myself. But My bootloader is completely gone..
I sent my phone to service. They will make JTAG for 40$.

the battery dies when it drains too fast, wish you didint sent your phone, bet the battery is much cheaper.
p.s. when nothing comes up, that might be a sign of bootloader damage, there might be also no battery power. and only plugging in the phone does nothing too.

Sorry for you ChunLi,
but afaik you can't screw up your BL through LiveOC.
And that other guy that used 40% (->140%?!) is insane. Its better for you not using LiveOC anymore. Just use it if you know what you're doing -> sane values and intense testing.
@ChunLi
So you cannot power up into Download mode and you're sure you just OC'd by 115%?

Now we are trying JTAG. I hope it will be ok.

Still need a solution..

have u tested the hairdryer method?

do you have "black screen of death" shown up?
did u try hold ALL buttons and wait for screen flash 3 times and then release VolUp?
did u read SGS thread on xda wiki?
and at least did u try of tearing the phone apart and take all the dust from inside of it?

If you are trying to liveoc to 15% you are doing something wrong to begin with. Perhaps you arent the person to tamper with advanced settings?
I blew up my pc once. We all have suffered to learn.

have you try this?

Possible bricked phone?

Installed CM7 on the EVO 4G three days ago and everything has been working fine. Until today when I went to turn my phone on, nothing happened. It vibrated like normal when its booting up, but nothing came up on the screen. Since then, nothing is happening at all. No charging light when plugged in, no sounds, no vibrations, nothing on the screen, not showing up on computer.
What do I try to get this thing to respond?
Did I cause this or is this a hardware problem that just happened to be about the same time I rooted this thing?

What method of rooting did you do? You try a battery pull and hold the power button down for 15 secs with the battery out and try to boot it.

A bricked phone will have a red triangle looking thing that won't go away lol. One that doesn't respond is usally spanked silly lol. Tho there may still be hope your's isn't try the pull method on batt.
I pulled the battery, held power button and volume down while plugged into wall, no response. Should I leave it unplugged and not try the volume button with it?

Try it without being plugged in and with battery out just hold power button down. Usally clears some big issues. If it doesn't work then it could be spanked. Bad unit.

Do you have an extra battery to try out, or temporarily borrow from a friend? Are you sure your battery was charged up, and it didn't die? It sounds odd that it just did that out of the blue. I'd be suspicious of.a dead battery. They can die to the point that they will not take a charge, and they're totally dead.

That's true lol SBC kernels can spank battery quicker. Id try new battery if it's not it then Id swap it out at sprint.
I do not have another battery to test with, I will have to go to a sprint store to do that. I dont have the unit with me to test tonight, but I will take these suggestions home with me. Thanks guys. Lets hope I didn't brick my girlfriends two week old EVO. She loved the Cyanogenmod that I put on there.

[Q] HELP!!! mytouch 4g went into comatose...

my phone just simply went useless after a drained battery more or less a week from now... it wasnt like that before until the most recent update from froyo to gingerbread that my phone just doesnt function or power up after connecting the charger... all it does now is.... if you press the power button itself, it vibrates 3 times then the LED blinks orange and thats it.... if you press power + vol. up, it vibrates 5 times and the LED lights up green. and when connected to my laptop with the orange LED blinking, it is recognized as a USB mass storage device. with the green LED on, it is recognized as "android phone'' - ''adb android interface."
i tried adb but always error no device found or list of devices attached empty/blank... can i still revive my phone???? help please......
Did you try power + volume down? That would get you into bootloader. When you are in there, connect your phone to the computer and download a stock gingerbread ROM and place it on your SD. Rename it to PD15IMG.zip Then the phone will recognize the name and update. Good luck. Thanks if I helped
did that alreaDy.... if i press power + vol. down, my phone just vibrates 5x and the LED lights up green while the screen remains black....
Did you put it on life support? lol jk.
If I helped, give thanks, if you please.

Based on what you said, if device is plugged in that adb doesnt recognize it as well as not being able to boot into bootloader I would say that if you are still able to warranty the device with tmo that you better do it soon and let them know that the problem started right after you received the OTA GB update. They shouldnt take any issue if they beleive it may somehow have been caused by them.
Just my 2cp

I agree.
Here are some other options to try. Use the charger and cable that came with the phone and fully charge your battery (if charged already let it die and recharge). Remove battery for about ten minutes and then retry to boot up. If none of this works then you are SOL. Just take it back to tmo and tell them this occurred after the update like eqjunkie has said.

You said your phone's battery was drained to zero for a week, and after that the device won't start? Therefore it might be a battery related problem. Could you try replacing it with another one? There's a lot of them on the market, and they cost not that much.
Btw Mt4G uses the same battery type as HTC Thunderbolt.

Not that I know of. Your power button is dead I presume. If you see the battery charging animation it should mean your motherboard / main board is still alive..
Sent from Halo.

If this is true, do you have a suggestion for me?
I can not find anything on here with my similar situation. I dropped my nexus in the water. Put it on rice for like5 days. I charged it and got a charge signal, but when I powered it on, as soon as it got to the main screen it auto powers off. I replaced the battery with a new one AND did a factory reset. It still does the same thing.

which main screen? The Nexus main screen or the normal home screen?
It could either be
A - You might have low battery, leave it plugged in for a few hours and try turning it on
B - Your main/mother board is dead.

First of all, completely switch off your phone. Take out the battery, and wait for 5 minutes. Then press volume+ then power button and keep holding them. If you factory reseted then you should still have your ROM installed. What happens when you connect the phone to the charger?

If when connected to the charger only a white LED lights up, then mostly your battery is dead. Charge it using McGyver method (search for the xda thread by sorensiim) or a universal battery charger or a new charged battery.

Make SURE your friend's phone is a Defy/Defy+. I'm pretty sure the problem is with your battery running out of charge. Otherwise you're doing the procedure to open bootloader wrong.
