[Q] Is it possible to remap Home softkey? - Kindle Fire General

Not sure if this is a CM7 question or an ADW Launcher EX question.
Is it possible to set the home softkey to show the app drawer instead of a sense preview of open windows?

Way to make launcher shortcut in launcher?

I'm using SlideScreen and I love it. The only problem I have is getting back to the original home screen to access my power widget. I have to either
a) change the wifi/bluetooth/GPS settings manually or
b) goto app settings -> manage apps -> slidescreen -> clear defaults
Anycut failed to make a shortcut to "launcher" in the launcher. It only makes it a shortcut on the homescreen. Is there a way to make an icon for launcher/home in the actual launcher??? Or is there an app that is like the power widget that I can install?
Thanks in advance

Modifying Default App Shortcuts in launcher

I'm really curious to know how I can change the default 4 app shortcuts in the launcher.
The ones I'm talking about is the Phone, Messaging, Contacts, etc
I have my phone rooted, the works.
For the life of me I've played with the phone all weekend and looked online and can't seem to find a damn thing.
Thanks for any help you good folks can provide, and I look forward to some fantastic ROMS from the community!
Push applications button > menu > select customizable grid
Push menu > edit
You can drag icons from the app drawer to the bottom, but you can only change 2 of the 4.
best way IMO is to use a different launcher
launcher pro and ADWL Launcher are both excellent and worth a try.

Use ADW Launcher EX! Blows the stock launcher out of the water and you can set that too. And it's smooooooth and fast too.

When you install ADW launcher and press on "home" a box should appear in the center of the screen saying whether you want to launch "Launcher" or "ADW Launcher EX"... select the Always do this and ADW Launcher EX.
If you want to reset it: go into settings -> applications -> manage applications -> find adw launcher ex -> clear defaults
Under "Launch by Default", ADW says "no defaults set". Do I have to reinstall? When I hit the "home" button, the TF takes me to the stock launcher.
EDIT: reinstalled, same problem.
EDIT: Found "Launcher" under the "All" tab and cleared that. Fixed.

Download home switcher (or similar) from the market and you can easily switch between launchers.

3 dot menu and widgets

I wonder if someone can help me replace the recent apps menu button for the settings button (3 dot menu) like how it is done on the one X, also is there a way to remove the widgets section on the app drawer.
Thanks and please .

You can flash a ROM (I use AOKP and it has this) that has settings for manipulating the Navigation Bar.

Well, you can always try out a different launcher. The closest I can think of that mimics stock the best is Nova Launcher and it can remove the Widgets menu (I forgot if you have to pay for the Prime version to do this.)
