remap back and lock - Eee Pad Transformer General

Guys is there a way to remap back/lock buttons as esc/canc buttons? and maybe all the ones between as f1-f12 buttons?
thanks
edit: oh well...just found this but does the asusec.kl contain also the mapping for the touchpad buttons? since obviously having m2 on back is useless

Remap keys

Hey guys, been looking at a way to remap the back button since I am a lefty. I have followed steps from how to do this on the Note 3 , but seems like the key is named different. Any help would be appreciated thanks.
Still any way to remap hardware keys??

Remap Hardware Buttons

I was wondering if it is possible to remap the hardware buttons on an android headunit. For example at the minute my media buttons only work for the stock apps, so skip next/previous etc. are useless in poweramp. It would also be cool to remap a useless source button to something like voice control. I have tried downloading apps that have always worked for me flawlessly in the past such as multilnguage keymap redefiner but they don't detect anything on key press. I know that you can manually remap by editing a .kl file but my headunit isn't rooted.
Thanks!
maybe under settings/general/extra settings/panel keys ?
extra settings password could be 123456
Hi! I hadn't read your thread so I posted this... Did you ever get around it?

remap back and recent apps keys...

Hi, is there any way to replace roles of those 2 navigation keys?
I have problem with screen sensitivity on bottom right part so want to have back key left (back is muck more used and this part of screen is perfectly responsible)
This will help me a lot, I have no solution to fix this or to replace phone...
I don't know if there's a mod to exchange the functions of those 2 soft keys. What i know is you can install an on-screen navigation bar to have back, home, and recent apps buttons. It will work only on Lollipop touchwiz:

If you want to disable / re-enable the capacitive keys and physical home button:

Disabling capacitive keys on Tab 4 10.1?

I'm running the CM 13 alpha, and I have the soft nav keys enabled, but I can't for the life of me find out how to turn off the capacitive buttons (I keep hitting them while trying to read and have the device in portrait).
I've tried modifying a few of the key layout files (/system/usr/keylayout) but no avail... I did manage to disable the home button lol.
Any ideas?
Edit: Ah of course... it was /system/usr/keylayout/sec_touchscreen.kl, who would've thought! For anyone looking to do this, just edit this file and add #'s in front of the values.
