OK we don't get to do or receive calls on this tab! But reading abt other tabs having gsm but no call feature are getting incoming calls or notification!
By this I would like to bring into developers attentions and if ny source we could work over it!

I am able to send and receive voice calls on my Wi-Fi only GTab 10.1 using a combination of GrooveIP and Google Voice. Quite a slick little solution.

What are you trying to do?
I want to use my tab as phone! But if that's not possible atleast wan to receive some kind of notification on incoming call

TexTab offers this! Obviously from the name it allows you to send and receive texts on the tab too. Works quite well although occasionally I can't get my Galaxy Nexus to talk to the tab and it's quite rare that I can connect to the Nexus via the Tab, I usually have to do it the other way round but that's no biggie.
I just want to know who iz calling me

Hi,
I come from an ios background, and missing my device lighting up when I get any notification.
Is that possible on the Tab as well with stock ICS?
Thanks

Wrong forum. Try the Galaxy Tab 7.7" one.
Is anyone else having a weird hollow spring noise coming from their phone? Its audible when tapping the screen. Did i get a lemon or is this normal, it has been driving me insane.

im pretty sure its just the vibration mechanism. My s2 and s3 did this too.
Mine does this I believe when I pick the phone when screen is off to let me know I have notifications.

It isn't a vibration, it is more like something is loose inside the phone that makes a buzz when I tap on the screen.
That's just how the phone is built. Like if I smack it against my hand it'll feel like it's kinda vibrating. It's not an issue.

Correct. that is the vibration mechanism you are hearing/feeling.
I think it is kind of weird, but that is what it is.

Happens to me as well, figured it was nothing to worry about.

Didn't do it on my black s4 but does on my white s4.

When I try to fill this area I noticed that this part of the screen seems weird I need to pressure the s pen in to the screen if I don't the line would appear light and not darker like in some area.
sorry I can't find the right words to describe it clearly

maybe you need to calibrate your s-pen. there are tutorials on YouTube on how to do that

Anyone else have this? I am finding if I apply pressure just below the camera and above the samsung logo I get a creak noise. Seems to happen when I'm holding it a certain way.
No. Tight fit.
The home button is sticky & fidgety.
Nope, not at all.

I had the back cover on and off a few times now and its not doing it anymore so I guess it was just not fitted right.
Thanks for your input
