How do I get my Atrix 4G back to stock? I need to relock the booloader and install the original firmware. Thanks!

i just received mi atrix from moto and they have loaded with new frimware.
there is no recovery anymore and impossible to unlock
is there any solution?
thank you
As far as i know you still have stock recovery. The new bootloader is not able to unlock at the moment so you can not put a custom recovery on it. I got a new atrix as a replacement recently and have the same problem. Good luck
why is it impossible to unlock the new bootloader?
is someone working on it or will we never get an unlocked bootloader?

Yea the same happened to me a few months back when I sent my phone to moto for replacement. I was really hoping for ics to fix that because we would all be on the same software and therefore have more developer support. But now that moto kill the update, im not sure we will be able to unlock our bootloader and run custom software.
Just got my Nexus 4 and for some reason instead of saying Orange or EE where my network should be it just displays @@@@@@ @@@@@@@@.
Anyone ever heard of this before?
EDIT: XDA is trying to format what my operator shows, its basically a lot of @ signs
Anyone had this? Is there anyway I can just hack the string and display a custom operator?
Are you getting a signal?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
The Modaco Toolkit can rename your operator name. I've never heard or seen this bug. It's used with the xposed framework. So you need to be rooted.

Yea I do, signal is fine. I'll try that app, thanks!
Didn't work for me! I am rooted, but entered a custom operator, rebooted and nothing changed.

New to g2 great phone so far , just wondering if people are working on unlocking, Thanks

We have loki which allows us to flash recovery, roms, and kerenels. Unlocking, as far as I know, isnt really necessary.
I am new yo android. Can you please explain what a bootloader is and reasons in general to unlocking it?
Thanks

Being new, I'm going to tell you that if you keep asking these kinds of questions without doing a Google search first, you're going to need to put this on in here...

I don't have access to a computer for a few days, but was wondering if it was possible to install a custom recovery on the Nexus 6P without a PC? I've heard KingRoot is available, but it's not compatible with the 6P on the N preview. Mainly looking at reverting back from N Be installing CM.
Sent from my Nexus 6P using XDA-Developers mobile app
You can't flash recovery within the device software without root :/ and you can't flash custom recovery through bootloader without a PC. I don't believe there's any way to root within the N preview software so.. bascially.. No.

Still No.

No. As Exad mentioned the only way to flash a custom recovery if you don't already have root is via fastboot which requires a PC.
That sucks

I am wondering if currently anyway to unlock the bootloader on this version. If not, is there a way to rollback to an older version and then unlock it?

For starters, you cannot downgrade without an unlocked bootloader. Chicken and the egg :cyclops:
See the thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-razr-m/general/guide-faq-how-to-root-boot-unlock-t2869432
KITKAT 182/183.46.10 FIRMWARE ONLY.
WILL NOT WORK ON THE 182/183.46.15 RAZR M FIRMWARE OR THE MOTO LUGE.

You appear to have the "unlockable" version, so read the thread above.
If not, there is always the "Sunshine" app (ie pay to unlock).

You mean I can't unlock it.

Also I know you can install Safestrap I'm just having a b*tch of a time finding it and it may be of some use.
