Hlw guys does any one know which is the fastest i/o sheduler of hd2 roms? I think its "deadline". Do u agree?? Post ur comments and experience. I got my max i/o score in bench mark using this. I am using hyperdroid. I want to know if i can improve.
Also can any body help me to decide which sheduler should be suited for which needs?? Is there any info topic or links? I realy like to learn about it.
Hope ur help..
Thanks in advance.

Hi all, I was looking at some pictures in certain posts and people claiming to have quadrant scores over 3000.
Can someone tell me what rom I need to flash or what needs to be done in order to achieve that?!
Thank you!

Very basic and quick question.
I HAVE used the search button and didnt find the info i was looking for.
I've seen a few threads about people bing able to over clock their XPlay, and i was wondering how this would be done. I have got SetCPU ready to install, lol. The bit of info i need is, I am only using a standard rom, bootloader is unlocked and I am rooted, is this enuff to be able to overclock or do i need a custom rom running?
If I do need a custom rom, how would i go about using one and would i lose all the data on my phone??
Thanx to everyone in advance, I know everyone here are great people and I will get a decent answer and no one taking the piss for me being such a noob with these things, lol.
you need to install a custom kernel that supports overclocking...

And you need an unlocked bootloader to flash a custom kernel

Development forum has the kernel. It's reported that it runs at 1.5ghz without errors.

Quick question also, what should be the normal score of our XPlay if we run it on app like quadrant standard? Thanks..
well i dont know what normal is but i get between
1700-1800 on stock rom with bloatware removed

Quadrant is a load of ****, its not an accurate benchmark, devs have been known to make kernels and mods that can trick quadrant into giving massive scores
I get 12to 1300... Not that it matters.. There is no lag

+1
You can't even get consistent quadrant scores on the same device at the same settings.

So what app can you suggest that can get an accurate score? Thanks.
None. Benchmark apps at the moment are not really solid.

There are no requirements, you just have to be rooted. Install GingerXperia it has the overclock module built in. Personally I find it alot faster and smoother than GingerDx.

It really depends on your phone and rom, I can get stable at 710MhZ so it should be good. 710 should be okay for Nova, install chainfire3D if it crashes.

Hi all,
I dont know what the exact problem is but why I'm getting unstable quadrant scores. When I first run full benchmark I got 30XX,
second 34XX
third 43XX
fourt 38XX
fifth 33XX
My ram is clean as possible (408/831MB)
And my rom is Turkey XWLP7
If someone can explain , I'll be appriciated.
Thks all
It's because they're crap. Just stay away from them or your penis will become smaller.

You shouldn't worry yourself with benchmarks. They give you no idea of how well the phone actually performs in daily use.
Anyways, it could be your CPU governor or something running in the background.
