I am building 2.3.7 for many devices.
Q) What is 2.3.7?

All I have right now is the proprietary files for most HTC devices, and SGT7.
If you can provide more, for more devices, please contact me.

Device builds are slowly being added to above site, please check back, it can take quite a while to build a rom-I have a crappy computer.
Please, report any issues , after trying to google a fix, here.
But it is MANDATORY that you list what device you are referring to CLEARLY in your response.

If you dont have cm yet, well, thats another port job, and those can be difficult.

Cm7 is available but the source code isn't. Where can I find the files??

best, and only path i can give ya, if I knew where the rest were, I wouldnt have to hope someone gives them to me, lol
there is a way to pull them from the device, also

The only I found to get the files is from a source code... But cyanogen hasn't upload them yet

But it isn't BOCA, yet.
these are just test runs for my 2.3.7 nexus s port.
I will make a flashable theme patch, and apply my PR UI, very soon.
I need as many testers as I can get, maybe we can get the market issue fixed quickly.
For now, titanium backup all your apps, before 2.3.7 install, then try an app restore after you install 2.3.7

Desire HD version running well, all tweaks present upon bootup, bottom status bar etc. Not tested market yet.

Nothing more than wait till your device comes up to bat.
Each device, I am finding, is requiring some adjustment the last didn't. Most of these devices are jumping from 2.3.4/5 to 2.3.7, tweaks need to be applied to each one.
The Samsung captivatemtd should be done soon, ill move your device up to after the next one.
Rewritting these files for each device is difficult. Its a whole lot of Google searching, but my google-fu is strong, ;-)
Only devices I actually have are the Sgt and g2, so it makes it that much harder.

About to test on my Desire HD, will give feedback when tested
Edit: I have no Market issues (yet) but i did flash latest gapps. Other than that this ROM works lovley this far.
I will update this post if anything comes up=)
Edit 2: Have been running this on my Desire HD for about 24 hours now and have'nt had any issues of any sort yet=)
Its Smooth, fast and stable!
I really love the Honeycomb-ish buttons on the notification bar, this allows me to map the hardwarebuttons to other more usefull things =D

Does anyone know where to or have the apk for the new halo waypoint app since it seems its not compatible with most htc android phones

yes because htc and microsoft are having "agreement issues" thats y its on htc windows phones but not android. My wife has an older android phone but its not htc and it got it.

Well thats why im here looking for someone who has uploaded it. My wife's phone has proved to be very stubborn to root or i would have done it already
And i dont believe windows uses apk format

Noob here, and maybe a noob suggestion. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
You said that your wife's phone got to install the apk. Couldn't you use ES File Explorer or something to back up the app and get the apk? I think you don't need root to be able to do that.
If you do manage to get it, I hope you share the apk here too. The Android market doesn't want to play nice with any of my devices when it comes to the Halo Waypoint app.

it appears as if this .apk is only for dual core devices. I just downloaded it to my Transformer w/o problem but it will not run on my Glacier.

To add, the app is also picky with regard to user location. It says not available for your country on my KF.

Has anyone found an apk for this i wanna try it on my evo. Got some ideas if it doesnt work to make it work. Unless im blindly missing a link already posted. Searching with my phone so not the easiest lol.

Its really disappointing that they hype this all over and they release it 8/10 customers cant download and use it. They hype it for months and never say that it couldn't run on single cores. Still trying to figure something out

I haven't had any luck getting the apk. I've heard some have but i don't think anyone has posted so i hope someone does if they have gotten the apk

Finally got it, works well on my Evo 4G using Miks Rom, and my friends stock Evo 3D. Here you go guys, hope it works for you all.

np man. I was going crazy looking for it last night but never found it online. Couldn't wait to get to work today so I can used one of our 30 androids to get the app for me and back it up. lol. I used an LG Ally to pull it and works fine on my Evo.

Works perfectly in Evo Shift 4G w/ official 2.3.3 firmware. Just wish I could move it off to an SD Card!

HTC Amaze Camera mod

Hey Guys,
I am actually coming back to the 4G OG after a year of being away so I am a little out of the loop. I was wondering if anyone ported the HTC Amaze camera mod over for this guy and if any ROMs contain it be default?

I saw this mod, but I figured the dev's here knew about it... It was posted on a few android sites.

I ran it on my EVO 3d and gave a noticeable improvement just wondering if anyone brought it over to the OF EVO.

Just looked up the mod, Seems pretty cool, The zip for a sense 3.5 rom was deleted so i guess someone will have to pm it to you.

Nexus 4 Sense 6 port?

Okay, this isn't a dev thread specifically. I personally have no porting knowledge whatsoever, I don't use Linux (well, not all the time), not even a github account.
I saw recently that a developer managed to port Sense 6 to the Nexus 5, using AOSP binaries. A lot of things are broken, but that's to be expected. It's a bootable, functioning ROM.
I was wondering if anyone would have the expertise to make such a ROM for the good ol' Nexus 4? If anyone has any issues with this thread, please inform me via PM. I dislike bashing against anyone, and I'd prefer to keep it clean.

Also, preferably the real thing. I know beggars don't choose, but I like to stay away from CM based ROMs for the sake of basic things like ChainFire's SuperSU instead of Koush's, and AOSP instead of CAF kernel so I can still use Hells Doctor

we can try but the problem is the resolution... sense is optimized for 1080 and 720p... now i'll try to port a rom... XD impossible but a try (PS I'm not a developer.. i follow guides then we can try to solve bugs if there are )

I know about the HTC apps, but they don't work very well. No ART support (for now), navbar is broken in blinkfeed, and most don't work (not bashing the person who posted them, its a great start at least)

Our N4 is 720p thanks! Anything is great! I wanna learn to do basic things like porting eventually, but for a 13 (yes, laugh all you like) year old going through GCSEs, with next to no free time due to exams to even find a place to start :/ once all that crap is out of the way, I'm gonna learn as much as I can and eventually make my own stuff

Darn! Meh, it'll be worth it if it works! A Sense ROM for the N4 AHS never been done before, only attempted.
