is there any english version of this?
Google it. There are guides all over the internet.
If you're not skilled enough to use Google - no way you're skilled enough even to create a simple update.zip for flashing a system app, not even talking about ROMs.

heres a guide: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nac3Fnf-lY4
The video tutorial is a year old, is it still relevant?
Hello everyone. I am making this thread in hopes that somebody could make the patch for us? I would download the pre-built one but i assume the dev removed links because multiupload.com is down. The member yagya made a tutorial on how to patch any rom, here it is. Can anybody give it a go?
Much Thanks!!
http://yagyagaire.blogspot.com/2012/02/how-to-make-pdroid-patch-for-any-custom.html?m=1
Thank you svyat, you are a awesome person!
Um u do realize with that tutorial u can make that for the rom ur using extremely simple. Follow instructions and try on ur own. Its rom specific so doing in masses means making one for multiple roms which would be extremely tedious.
Yes i do. I'm no n00b, i would be 100% capable of making my own patch, but i don't own a computer or know anybody who would let me use one. This is the file svyat had a direct link to but its been removed. https://www.dropbox.com/s/dhwxh5dtkhpsja1/PDroid-HTC-Evo-4G-CM-7.1.zip It worked perfect and i had a backup but my memory card had an error and deleted all my files.
Can somebody help? Please??

Try just flashing a complete 5360 stock firmware via odin to convert your device then you can flash custom 5360
Note do this at your own risk - firmware on my firmware thread

Hey everyone,
I want to get into android development and I want to start with rom porting. It would be great if anyone could help me get started and answer a few of my questions:
Do I need anything special to start with?
Do I need a really beefy PC to do it?
What programs do I need?
Do I have to learn C++?
Is it safe to test my so called "ports"?
Do I need permision from the developer of the base rom I'm using?
Does the base have to be for the same device?
Thanks for your help and time!

You can port roms with different hardware , its safe, just make a backup because you will probably boot loop. if you port it and post it here then you will need the devs permission. The base has to be the same android version as the rom you want to port, and the base has to be for our phone.

I was going to try to port miui but now that you're doing it I might as well try to port something else. Any suggestions?

I can not tell because even I'm not good with porting, my best result with all roms try and bootanimation been blocked.
my opinion is that there is something missing in the guide, some guides say they modify the init file in boot.img for example.
What I realized is that the files that are to be created well for not having problems updater-script and build.prop.

Sorry, but we already solved our problem. And also if we still didn't solved it, we couldn't get you to help us.
, that is a stock custom rom, just features added to the stock rom, not custom rom built with source code, and you would've need a linux for dumping.
Thank you for understanding.
