GT-I9100 I9100XXKPA ## Android 4.0.3 2012 January I9100OXAKPA Open Europe Download
Do the SGN get this update as well? maybe in a couple of hours?
sorry for posting in wrong section. i had multiple tabs opened, and i clicked "new thread" in the wrong tab, not in the general one.... sorry for that...

Wrong section. But i think i read somewhere in Rocket Rom thread that there was a new rom incomming... Might just be the 4.0.3 rom.
Makes sense thou for samsung to release for both phones.
Good times are coming

It will be great

I found it. Info is correct
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk

Lets hope they give us ICS 4.0.3 soon - The xda devs will make it even better

it would be great for MAUI and the Teamhacksung, it would accelerate the developement of CM9! I watched a few alpha buildsof the Samsung stock ICS. Touchwiz messes the whole thing up imo. I love the stock google rom...

Its not a final version apparently.. if you Check the Galaxy S2 forum their Calling it a beta...

Thanks ...I think its a good idea to have one location to look for updates and discuss. Thank you for making this rom for the nexus s! (Just kidding! Too soon?)

Too soon, too soon xD
good idea with this thread
haha yeah maybe your right that its to soon, but i read that drew (yes THAT drew) is getting out his update soon and miui also said that theyd have ics soon so i figuered better to soon than to late! ;D
i really want a full build!!! hardware acceleration is what i want but can't try in the sdk port ><
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
yeah, good idea mate..
hoping that this thread will not go under in discussions who has stolen the rom from who and so on.. simply updates - no discussion from who and why and how.
actually I run the ics port b12, quite good, only the market update crash-issue is ugly .. let's hope and wait for the devs to get ICS sooner mostly stable
i was using b12 as well, but then i swiched back to gb miui because of the market, whatsapp, sms (maximaum one page) and all the fcs...
but i fell madly in love with ics and i keep looking for roms for the nexus s all the time! ;D
I think drew should just upload now... he can get out the stable version later!
I have to satisfy my lust for ics! ;D

Way to go OP. I was following other threads here and, like many, I find it hard to find an update on what's happening without searching the internet up and down. Those other threads became laughable. Why would anyone send you hate mail for hopefully clarifying things with a consolidated thread. Good to see this.

Where, oh where, is our nexus s ics update? Any release date rumour?
Anyway, good thinking. Feels good to have a topic to go to.
koush's ROM seems doing fine except for camera and wifi according to him.
i hope he shares it soon eventhough it's not fully functional.
=]
-Google
There will not be a stable ROM until the source is released. Not the source for the Galaxy Nexus but the actual source. That will happen when the OTA is released for your NS most likely. CYANOGEN will wait for real source as will the MIUI team.
You will see some adapted and modded ROMs based on the Galaxy Nexus code. Most likely they will have modified GB kernels I believe.
I would not be surprised to see OTAs for NS right after the Galaxy Nexus hits stores in the US, definitely b4 Christmas.

Its true. There will be Frankenstein's but not the ROMS we are all waiting for. Its all about the kernel.

Say what you want about drew but at least he had no problem releasing half busted roms. Now that people are making source roms we are begging for them to at least give us a half busted rom while we wait but no one will ugh! I don't care if just the camera and wifi don't work! That's leaps and bounds above what were used to!

So you mean that google only released the source for the Galaxy nexus and not the actual source code for ICS 4.0? have they ever done that before?

My first SII

hello SII owners i just got mine 30 mins ago love it! i had the ace before this and i must say what a difference anyways there is so much choice on roms i really have no idea what is good and what is not, if someone could point me in the right direction on a decent rom for this monster i would be very happy iam not sure on when samsung are going release ics but i do not want to wait *_* thanks in advance.
Check if it is i9100 or i9100G first.
Then you can head ahead.

Good enough.
Go root your phone. Try Checkrom in the original thread. You will find it very good. GB at it's best.
Hmm
Check settings>about phone model number and make sure its i9100
EDIT:i did open this page 10 mins ago and posted a replay now so the above post clears it up...
MIUI
I suggest you also to try MIUI, it's a good and stable ROM (based on ICS 4.0.3) but it has a big iOS feeling, but it's worth to try
I also have my SII since a few months, and I'm currently running ICS Remix (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1436854) it's a good rom but it has a few bugs here and there, but it has a ASOP look and feel
Welcome to the GSII, please read the sticky threads in the General section for all info if you're just starting out
We close these threads because we get a lot and the consensus is "try one until you find one you like". To find a ROM that people are using, sort the development forums by "Stats"

[HELP] Noob with Galaxy Tab GT-P1010

Hello friends XDA, just bought the Galaxy Tab GT-P1010, already has this world of Android after passing through a Galaxy Ace, Play Xperia, HTC Incredible S and Evo 4G, but hey this is my first tablet, the Android tablet comes with 2.3.6, the rom is GINGERBREAD.XXKPG is what I give the basics:
. - Install Recovery
. - To make it root
. - Update to ICS, in this case what would be the most stable rom for the tab.
This is what I make, I hope your answers and sorry if this has already been published, but I mess something with the tab.
Take a look in development section there's currently only two options, imperium rom and cleanrom, both are gingerbread slightly faster than stock
Currently there is no ics for this tab, but if you check out madteam forum motafoca is working on a cm7 port and then i beleive a cm9 port that will bring ics to our tab
Sent from my GT-P1010 using xda premium
Too bad there is no rom ICS, well just update the tab and now I have this version of GINGERBREAD.XXXXKPI rom, can you tell me how I do the root, thanks
Goto mad team forum look in the dev section and download the cwm file then flash the pda file with odin

Again...
Again, XXKPI 2.3.6 Gingerbread is the latest version for the p1010,
and there are two roms currently -Clean Rom and the Martian Rom.
I hope there are more developers soon, so that we could enjoy some nice
Android techs.
I went out of my way to provide a comprehensive set of tutorials that has even been stickied within this section. It answers ALL of these questions.
Apparently nobody READS anymore before posting a question with almost the same exact title as my thread.
I read it. Your write ups are excellent. I myself just picked up my tab, and really appreciated the info. Thanks.

Updated once again.
if you open a thread make sure you keep it updated, at least once in a while.
your own rom is 6 updates old. but i guess you love starting something and quit (like your Rom)
Not that i'm not appreciative, but it's just wrong to get people's high hopes and leave.
i bookmarked this thread to be updated but i was wrong.
i used your Rom "Zoom" even though i had lots of problems along the way but hoping that it will go away by each update kept me going.
Now what ?????
1) I stopped updating this as there's already a open on
Why do you think nobody's posting on it.
2) Zoom has 0 problems unless ur in Europe.
don't take it in a wrong way. and sorry if i offended you.
i like your work that is why i don't want you to leave it.
i got my phone from UAE to have it before the release date
- didn't know there is another topic same as this
thanks for your works
