I tried to install the new version of CyanogenMod Snapshop but unfortunately afte the reboot of my LG G2 D802 the mobile phone bricked.
I read a lot around the Internet and finaly i succeeded to unbrick it. Th problem now is that i do not have IMEI (is null now). I read that there is one program that you can fix your disappeared IMEI but cannot work in my personal laptop. Do you know anything how to repair and fix my IMEI with my previous official IMEI (i have it in the box that i bought but i didnt have any backup of it).
Thank you
I am having the same problem. I was loading a milestone version of a rom and when it loaded after wiping there was no service whatsoever and everything is null. I understand it wiped the efs and I dont have a backup. I also understand that we can change the info back with the numbers off of the original box using dfa cdma tools. I have the program but my question is the 000000 code does not work when i try to unlock the phone. Anyone with any experience with this program that can help me to re write my meid???

Which program do you have?
Dfs CDMA tools
I don't have any personal experience with this, but I have done a ton of reading on this problem and it's become my biggest fear. From what I have gathered you have very very little chance of fixing this yourself. It most cases it goes back to the manufacturer. Can you tell us exactly how this happen?
I have no idea, i have been rooted for months and swapped roms like crazy. I wiped and installed a new rom and then it was getting no service so i tried to update profile and said it couldnt. Then check in the settings for the baseband and meid and unknown was shown across the board. Trying to figure it all out now!
I have had the same thing happen what cm did u install I had a d802 version on my ls980 restored it but now it will only accept a d802 modem and the signal is weak and drops out but it did show my ESN and imei and baseband again instead of unknown if I would have flashed it with a ls980 modem

Have you tried restoring a backup?
Sent from my dr87 v7 powered, Mahdified LG G2 (D801)
My problem started when I tried to update my LG G2 D8002 to the latest Cyanogenmod Kitkat Snapshop and i stuck in clockworkmod recovery loop after returning in CWM to take backup. I tried to connect it to my Laptop but i cannot have any access in my files via my laptop. The bad thing that i did is that i formated everything in my mobile (as you can see and my IMEI too) to make a clear installation of a new rom after the brick. When i entered my new ROM i realized that i have everything apart from my IMEI. So that i do not have any network-signal in my mobile but a connection to Wifi
The program Dfs CDMA tools and Octopus Box does not work in my desktop. (Any idea?)
Do you have any idea how to repair it? I read that there is a folder (nfs i suppose that encode inside the IMEI). So, if someone find this folder can upload it somewhere? Probably will find a solution to solve it.
i was solved problem with no imei :
make full buckup from TWRC in another LS980
restored that buckup in bricked phone (make first buckup on it, to know name of folder, and take to that folder buckup from work phone)
sorry for me English

Are you sure that this works in all devices of LG G2?
I have no problem creating the backup with QPST but when I try to restore it it doesn't work. Any ideas what I may be doing wrong?
My phone is t-mobile D801, rooted and I am running KitKat 4.4.2. The phone has not been unlocked.
Tried downgrading to 4.2.2 and still no go... Same error message. It seems like I'm missing some settings here.
I forgot to reply to my own post. QPST restore will work if you zero out the IMEI.
Dear xda-developers users:
I have recently flashed the cyanogenmod 11 rom in my U8800 pro, following the instruction on this thread. (Installed TWRP and so on)
Everything worked perfectly, but in the process I lost my IMEI.
Sadly I have not a backup of my IMEI (I trusted the upgrade to go smoothly), but I have my IMEI number written down on the phone behind the battery. Is there a way to "reflash" my IMEI?
I found guides explaining how to do this, but all of them required to access some sort of service menu that is not avaliable on Cyanogenmod. Can you please explain me how to restore my phone to the original ROM (I have really no clue on how to do that!). Also a procedure to recover my IMEI without restoring the original ROM is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Hi
Im also facing the same issue after flashing the CM11 from Blefish on my U8800 (not pro)
Unfortunately, for now the only fix available to us is to reinstall the stock rom, use the IMEI backup tool and then reflash the custom ROM.
I haven't done that yet as my phone is still working fine (IMSI and the serial no. is being used I guess)
If I find a fix will update, thnx anyways
4 .4 .4 kitkat version?
okay so i tried to install xposed framework via recovery since it gave me an error during normal install, the device rebooted the got stuck in a bootloop, i flashed the latest rom for the shv-e300k from sammobile, everything worked great and the device booted into touchwiz, but there was 'No service' and the phone didnt connect to mobile network, when i dial *#06# i get IMEI 0000000000000.
i tried flashing different stock and custom roms, but nothing worked.. i tried a method to restore imei by copying EFS folder and using the .nvdata file, problem is there is not .nvdata in my EFS folder, I even tried installing cyanogenmod 13 and installing xposed framework on it together with the IMEI changer module, I typed my IMEI there but still no service..
PLEASE HELP!!!!!
The NV Data no longer lives in the EFS folder but is located in a hidden partition you cannot access. Wanam Partition Backup could have backed up and restored that partition for you if you had used it, but since you didn't, you'll have to take the phone to a service center and have the service center restore the IMEI.

can you please tell me how to get to that partition using wanam partition backup ? and what is the partiton called ?
All the app does is back up and restore that partition. It doesn't let you access that partition, and besides, it's too late anyway. Your IMEI is gone, and using the app now would only back up what you currently have.
This device needs to be taken to the service center.
same problem here

respected dev. i have the same problem. i flash a different firmware and now my phone baseband is unknown and imei is null. after a few days of checking its still not working. i have recovered its last working condition details as you can see in the photo attached
If restoring stock firmware does not restore the imei, you will probably have to have it fixed by jtag service or repaired using a programming box like an octopus box: http://octopusbox.com
Or have the phone serviced by Samsung, as discussing tools to rewrite IMEI I don't think is permitted on XDA.
I think discussions about restoring the original imei to the original motherboard/phone is okay but discussion about changing imei or serial number to something other than the original is not permitted.
Could you please check this.

check this but before this i want to ask that can i flash other firmware so that i can get baseband back. if i get baseband then i will use the above software to install the New Imei on the Phone. Tomorrow i will try every possible method to get back the phone to life and then if i fail, i will take it to the service center but if there is any possible way that you can help us so please assist and we will appreciate your assistance. thanks Regard Muhammad Ismail
That Xposed module won't work as what it does is spoof the IMEI for apps that have reading or sending the IMEI in their permissions. It does not change the existing IMEI and cannot be used to restore a lost IMEI. It requires the Xposed framework to function in the first place, which should give you a really big clue that this won't work.
If you want to waste the time and try it I'm not going to stop you, but the resolution to the problem requires tools only Samsung has. Android can't rewrite the IMEI as the IMEI is part of the phone's low-level firmware that Android cannot touch.
check your phone box if you have lost the imei
